We likely would have spent much more, but we got the feeling they would have rather us just left than buying anything at all. We witnessed them treating many others this way -- including a surfer who came in looking for an accessory to his board, who was sent away with nothing but a weird attitude. It's also near John's Pass Village & Boardwalk. We came to rent paddle boards and they gave us a rate of $15 for two hours! We discovered them on groupon so I don't remember if it was a special rate or not. They told us that they weren't too strict on time and if we went a little over, it'd be okay. And if they needed them to rent to new people, they would flag us down. Very nice people. All you do is go into their shop, which is also full of cool merchandise, and pay for the rental. You then get access to a FREE parking lot and they'll drive the paddle boards to the beach. This was my first paddle boarding experience and it was awesome thanks to these guys!
