UPDATE: I was recently in the area and decided to give this place another try. There was a nice…read morelamp in the window, so I asked to see it. The top where the wire comes out of the base was very wobbly and the shade could not sit square because the harp was on the wobbly bit. So, I looked online and it looked like I'd be able to fix it with parts from Home Depot or even Amazon. Maybe $15 or so. So I explained and asked if they take a little less for the lamp since I'd have to fix it for it to be usable. The woman on the desk called someone else. They went into the window and had a discussion. Came out, still no decision, had to make a call. Five minutes later the answer was "NO, if it's in the window we won't discount". Meanwhile, I was looking around as I waited. There was a single small martini glass priced at $6.50. It was a good quality glass but I've never seen a thrift store martini glass ( I collect them) priced so high unless it was etched crystal like Waterford. On the same table was an interesting looking vase from Germany with chips along the rim. $29! Idk. There was a polyester sleeveless top for $12 that couldn't have been more than $15 brand new. They must have someone who looks up stuff on EBay and other sites to see what people are asking for things in perfect condition or something. But, thrift stores run on donations. This one is way over priced. The staff are not friendly. The only I'd say has improved is the quality of the furniture. I really wanted to be able to upgrade my previous review because I don't like to give a bad review without checking back , but this place is just about the worst thrift store in the area. Unless you are a member of this church I'd say go elsewhere to spend your money.

I have been meaning to check this place out for many, many months and today was the day. I was…read morereally curious to see what kind of clothing I could snag for $1.50 a piece. The woman who owns the shop came out to say hello, as I was browsing the racks of sundresses out front. She was quite friendly and let me know how her little boutique is set up. It's largely women's clothing, shoes and accessories. But there are some mens and even a small childrens section. The place is nicely organized by size and color and has a shabby chic boutique feel. My favorite thing about shopping resale shops in this area is the typical abundance of vintage items. It seems this place gets clothing thru donations? So obviously selection will vary, but today, I would say around half the clothing items were vintage. I scored a cool vintage Star Wars tshirt and a long sweater cardigan that looks brand new and didn't even spend $4. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of their payment system. I asked if there was a minimum purchase required to use my card, and her son said nope. Great! When I handed him my card, I then realized he was using his phone to manually put all my card information into some app to process payment. It made me uncomfortable. They seem like really nice people and I know the shop has been there for some time now. So I reassured myself it's probably ok. But honestly, next time I will stop and get cash. I'd rather not have to worry about if a stranger has my card info saved in his phone.

First and foremost, I am a business owner and I actually run a retail store/hair salon. I have gone…read moreto a Different place's closet in Tampa before and had a very one on one friendly interaction with the employees and was very satisfied when I left there because I do bring high-end items. This store was ran by a bunch of children who had nasty attitudes and when I was trying to ask them exactly what was wrong with a certain thing why they didn't purchase it they didn't wanna explain to me. I'm like I'm just trying to learn so I know what not to do and for instance, she could tell me nothing whatsoever except for a fuzzball on one of the Hollister shirts. Basically what it was my girlfriend came in before I did and she's very sexy and they were all flirting with her and then I come in and they realize she's not single. I'm 40 years old. I don't have time for the little kitty games so these three teenage girls Decided not to buy any of my stuff but like three items mind you I looked at the website to make sure that I only brought what they allotted in the store on the website says SHEIN Nike Calvin Klein Nine West etc. but besides all that I also brought in real jewelry meaning real Sterling, silver or gold plated it blew out the water anything they had there for sure.and their jewelry was not on point at all. They had two racks they're almost empty and their excuse for not buying my jewelry was they had plenty of inventory now moving forward. and I did call the day prior to even going to the store and asked what all they're accepting because I know that it is like winter in Florida so I wasn't sure and everything they said which was bodysuits jacket out apparel basically everything except for shorts pretty much and I was appalled. By the way I was treated even after the fact I donated a whole bunch of clothes to them meaning like Hollister Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, think there is like seven pairs of Abercrombie and Fitch jeans I donated quite a bit and a couple purses as well one of them being a coach bag so I decided to shop in the store as well and I'm shopping. I can hear the little redhead girl I don't know if she's an employe or not ,or if she was just in there, but she was very rude and nasty and she was like mocking me and telling me under her breath for me to leave already. I have just never been so appalled by Customer Service and I have children their age and I can assure you my kids would never act that way I could leave them through my store and I know I would make profit these little girls are children, young minded children, who are running your business in the ground cause I do know you're privately owned is what I was understood and you have another location in Sarasota as well .Where was their mommy and daddy or the manager where is the owner? I am now speaking directly to the owner. Please give me a phone call or an email ASAP I'll be more than happy to run your business for you. That's what I do. I have my bachelors and business management and marketing I can show you your profits will turn around 100% because those little girls right there running in the ground. Sincerely an unhappy customer never again and I'll make sure I tell my friends in Bel-Air never to go to that one.

If you plan to get cash for clothes, don't go to this location (or at the very least call before…read moreyou drive there). 3 days in a row they've stopped doing cash for clothes around 5pm (despite them being opened till 9pm on weekdays), and will only offer store credit. The one in St Pete has been way more reliable and the staff is always so inviting/nice. I will never go to the largo location again to shop or sell. So disappointing and extremely inconsiderate for the people trying to sell clothes (especially people who work a 9-5 job). One day their excuse was that they're too busy to do cash for clothes and the next day their excuse was that it was too slow to do cash for clothes (but not too busy to give store credit for clothes?? Weird behavior, definitely not the right way to run a business)

They have a huge selection of Pokémon products, including sets that are almost impossible to find in stores these days. They're also really fair when buying Pokémon cards. I don't just come to Arnold's for Pokémon. I've sold scrap gold there before too. I like that they show the live scrap gold price in their website so you know what to expect. I also want to give a special thank you to Zach for the kindness and patience he showed my autistic daughter when she came in to sell/buy Pokémon cards. He made her feel comfortable and welcome, and that meant so much to us. If you're looking for a good jeweler or a great place for Pokémon, Arnold's is the place to go!

Fortunately the people there who provide estimates, advised me to ask them to just repair the stuck pin. I brought it back and they fixed it for free which took 2 seconds.
