I have been meaning to check this place out for many, many months and today was the day. I was…read morereally curious to see what kind of clothing I could snag for $1.50 a piece. The woman who owns the shop came out to say hello, as I was browsing the racks of sundresses out front. She was quite friendly and let me know how her little boutique is set up. It's largely women's clothing, shoes and accessories. But there are some mens and even a small childrens section. The place is nicely organized by size and color and has a shabby chic boutique feel. My favorite thing about shopping resale shops in this area is the typical abundance of vintage items. It seems this place gets clothing thru donations? So obviously selection will vary, but today, I would say around half the clothing items were vintage. I scored a cool vintage Star Wars tshirt and a long sweater cardigan that looks brand new and didn't even spend $4. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of their payment system. I asked if there was a minimum purchase required to use my card, and her son said nope. Great! When I handed him my card, I then realized he was using his phone to manually put all my card information into some app to process payment. It made me uncomfortable. They seem like really nice people and I know the shop has been there for some time now. So I reassured myself it's probably ok. But honestly, next time I will stop and get cash. I'd rather not have to worry about if a stranger has my card info saved in his phone.

Found some gems! Most stuff is from 2000's - 2010's with some nuggets from the 90's. Also found…read moreantique glassware! Would visit again.

They even let me design a new wedding ring for my wife using the original ring and other diamonds sold to me from there. I bought a Rolex Watch for almost $1,200 less than the other shops. They also took time to inform me how to identify a fake one from the real ones. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will never spend my hard earned money for jewelry to any other store but Arnolds.

In response to Kimberly. I am very familiar with how pennyweight pricing works, as I've been buying…read moreand selling jewelry for quite some time. I will be in touch with Loni. Thank you. I've been doing business with Arnold's for over six years and have always had positive experiences, until now. I brought in a 14k gold brooch to sell, but Ray didn't even bother to look at it. Instead, he went off on a tangent about losing money on resin-filled pieces that turned out to be fake, which had nothing to do with the item I brought in. He didn't even take the time to actually look at or test the piece. It felt like he didn't want my business at all. I was honestly so baffled I left. When I got home, I tested the brooch again. It definitely was 14k gold. I called the store and spoke with Ray. He told me to cut it in half and if it's hollow bring it back and he'll buy it. If he inspected it from the beginning, he would've known that. The brooch was light and there were two tiny air holes on the back. I've been buying and selling gold for quite some time and know what I'm doing. I returned less than an hour later with the brooch and a 10K stick pin I had shown him at the initial visit. The brooch weighed 5 grams on my scale, but when I asked about the pricing, he said they go by pennyweight. After doing the math at home, it appears I was shorted. I always check the live gold price on their website beforehand, and I feel what I was paid didn't reflect their rate. To make matters worse, the 10K stick pin he had just valued at $58 the initial visit was only paid out at $32. I didn't catch this until I reviewed the receipt afterward. With the amethyst stone removed I know it had to weigh at least 1gram. Should have paid out at about $50 not $32! Over the years, I've recommended Arnold's to many people and even left two 5-star reviews on Yelp and Google. I've always worked with Zack or his sister and never had any issues, which is why this experience with Ben was so disappointing. If I choose to sell here again, I will definitely bring my scale to double check weights and pricing. Especially when dealing with Ray. I'd like to add that we don't just scrap at Arnold's. My youngest has bought Pokémon cards here as well. I have to say, they have an amazing selection. Especially when it comes to the Japanese booster boxes.
