In the mood for some thrifty shopping and treasure hunting, this place was on my list to check out. While they certainly have literally a lit bit of everything, I was shocked at the prices. They claim to be a nonprofit that supports Pregnancy Center Of Pinellas, and that's great. But I would think they would sell a lot more items if they were more reasonably priced. The store seems to go on forever, aisle after aisle of stuffed packed into the space. Things are somewhat separated by categories. From $100 stained couches to $20 used toddler dresses. I have been going to this thrift store every so often for the last eight years. The last two times in there have been nightmares. They have an outside area where items are 50% off. I grabbed an item from outside that didn't have a tag on it and asked the price. A younger gentlemen said $10 I then asked so $5 with half off or is the price 10, he responded it's $5 after discount. I sat the item next to the register and looked around. When I came back an older Indian man(I apologize if he isn't Indian) who may have been the manager acted like I was trying to rip them off? He asked who told me the price so the first guy came and told him he told me 5. He then proceeded to open the item and search it. Next time in my father in law was purchasing some items that just came in and the same guy told him the price and again the same older gentleman came out and made us feel like we were stealing from them because the price was too good lol. They make the price then get mad because they fee as if they could have gotten more from you. The older guy with glasses has ruined this place. The rest of the crew are nice people and have always made you feel welcome. read more

This place changed somehow. There isn't a sign with sales when you walk in and no pricing signs, when I was checking out the guy asked "these are $6?" Then it hit me. There's no prices anywhere. Some items (housewares) have specific price tags. But I'm there for a deal! 3 stars for the quality of goods. Nothing else. read more

I think what they do for this community is awesome. They have done a lot to help my family. We have in return given back to them by donating and again they have helped us so I hope and encourage other people to help them. I used to have great luck and staff was always great in this store until they changed owners. New owners stated the only coupons available will soon be on Facebook only. Guess that's great if you are on Facebook. The prices have doubled in all types of items and the store itself has become very, very junkie! Can't even see the furniture for the items on top. No organization to the type of items being displayed. You find anything everywhere. Shoes are ridiculously priced way too high for the condition they are in. I am really going to miss shopping at this store but it's back to Hospice Thrift and Salvation Army Thrift for me! read more

Went today. Found some cool stuff. Very organized. Lots to see. Outside deck sale 50% off Monday and Tuesday then down to 70% off Wednesday and Thursday and whatever is left is FREE on Friday and Saturday! Some items were priced high but I think that is because of the rotation of half off sales within the store. Most items prices were in line for used items. read more

I have been in this store a few times my last time I was there I had found a cameo picture frame and then when I came up to the register the manager that was insanely rude and I believe insane she started screaming at me that I stole this from out of her office then she went to her office found the one that she had and then did not apologize for claiming that I am a shoplifter in front of multiple people and my father and brother. Also everyone in the area that I have spoken with has somewhat of a little bit of a nightmare story to to go with this place like one night I was at a doctors appointment and a young lady I was speaking with told me that the same woman and I use that term woman Loosely but this woman manager made a woman's little girl cry for no reason there will be no way on God's green earth and no amount of money that will ever get me into this store again. Also I will keep finding other people that have gone to the store had the same experience and I hope and pray one day I will have this place shut down so no one has to go through what I had to and apparently what through half of Seminole hasn't gone through and to the manager of New To You Thrift you might want to keep what you're mentally deranged thoughts to yourself! read more

My new neighbor moved and went to Nu2U Seminole and found a clean and v-good condition white leather sofa (he is used to nice things, stressing nice). He was happy to get it on sale for $65 or $85 I forget which but no higher. I stopped at Nu2U three years ago and saw a Lexmark X7576 all in one printer for......$5.00. Three people with me told me not to buy it as it could not be tried by the thrift store without printer cartridges. I liked it so called my techie son in Maryland and he said "what will you lose..5?" so I went and got it. I bought new cartridges from Lexmark and called their tech support. They asked me if it was a new printer to me; told them it was a $5.00 untried that I got at a thrift store. They said "ok, but we consider it new to you"...so they told me exactly what to do and they updated it totally. I use it every day for the last three years and it works fine: print, scan, fax, etc. Lexmark continues to automatically update. I use it with my Windows 10 Pro computer. You get.attracted to this place by the outside stuff, which is dirty, overpriced and has been sitting in rain. When you go inside ti's very big and crowded. I saw alot of stuff, which was like knick knacks-small, nothing of value. The furniture is crowded in the back, stacked ontop of each other. It's just too crowded for me and the isles are so small it's hard to enjoy shopping here. I want bargains like everybody else but if I am going to pay new price I will go get new stuff. read more

No apology for her mistake & basically threw items at me after deciding to "allow" me to spend my hard earned $ there. Had been a long time customer. Kathryn J's review is absurd. Let's begin by saying this is a thrift store, not Burdines. It is the best Thrift Store in Pinellas County. The stuff outside is ridiculously inexpensive, and on some days it is free. The inside is organized into areas such as childrens toys, games, children's clothing, men and women's clothing, men and women's shoes, fake jewelry, assorted electronics, TV's, speakers, sporting goods, computers and computer accessories, hardware, tools, glassware, mugs, dinnerware sets, furniture, arts & crafts, books, videos, knives, kitchen appliances, etc. While there is a fair amount of junk that I would never consider buying, there is also a lot of good finds that you are not likely to find anyplace else. They are constantly weeding out the junk, and adding new items. Generally the prices are very low. The only negative thing I have to say is that some of their electronics are obsolete - meaning they are no good at any price. For instance.. who wants an AM radio, or VHS Video Recorder, or 25 year old computer, or 15 year old TV? Stay away from anything with a plug and you will be fine. read more
