Not a bad joint. For the life of me I can't figure out why it's so hard to find a sports bar with…read moregood food, great screens and sound, and good drinks. Houston was the worst but that's a different story. The bartender and patrons were super friendly. In fact, I asked an elderly man next to me what he was drinking and he pulled out a recipe on a napkin from his pocket and invited me to take a picture of it for the future. Obvi, I did because anyone who carries a recipe he made up and included a little happy face at the bottom of the napkin is awesome. As soon as we walked in they asked us what games we wanted to watch. Whaaaat?! That's amazing. The place feels a little bit like a den...an old den but a comfy one. They don't have any food, per se, but they did have a crock pot with beans and Fritos to make a Frito pie. This is why they didn't get 5 stars. I'm a grazer...I'll order wings...then fries...then feel bad so I'll get a salad...then more fries. We left when we got super hungry and went to the next place...that didn't have any food either. Finding a football watching home is hard. On another note, we were pulled over by Castle Hills police as soon as we left. Apparently, it's a known fact that the speed limit is 35 (no postings in sight). We only got a warning and he was a nice officer so I'm passing on the warning - drive very slowly.

Smells like vomit, couldn't be in there for more than a few minutes. This place has gone down hill.read more

Our server was very kind but service was on the slower end. We came in during our lunch break. We arrived around 1:15PM on a Friday, and left around 2:45PM. The server mentioned that the restaurant is a scratch kitchen, so we could add or take away as much as we wanted from the menu. They were able to honor my dairy-free dietary preferences! I ordered from the Culinaria Lunch Menu (Culinaria Salad, Stir Fried Noodle Bowl--added shrimp, and Lemon Sorbet) All pretty tasty, the salad was a little on the drier side and the shrimp was overcooked. I also wanted a drink that wasn't just water but no alcohol, the server suggested a Strawberry Virgin Mojito. It was refreshing! The restaurant looks like a nice place to catch the games and the booths were comfy! I'd love to check this place out again and hope that the service is a little quicker!

Mostly with a large group of regulars in the corner. At different times in the night the all 4 of them would be there drinking with them all the while ignoring the rest of the bar . My friends and I also noticed that they would purposely go out of their way to not make eye contact with customers so that they wouldn't have to service us , ridiculous! Never seen anything like it . Sorry for bothering you guys while you attempt to socialize while you work . Me and friends will not be bringing our money here ever again. Also here is a pic of the lazy bartenders congregating at one end of the bar only , pathetic.

Based on my own experience and contrary to another posted review, the staff is quite friendly and is engaged. The beer selection is a little lacking overall but at the $1.50 PRICE, far be it from me to complain. Seriously... $1.50 beer and $2 EVERYTHING ELSE! To make it even better... they have a selection of food items on the menu that are ALL $2 too! Where else are you going to find these prices!? I'll keep on coming back... at least until their prices start to go up.

She got me the blackjack chicken, but with the chicken breast fried instead of grilled on the sandwich and then the waffle fries that came with. I tossed everything into the air fryer at our house to heat it up and crisp it. And then the sandwich I added Tabasco sauce to it Having done those things the meal was very good without those things. It was a little bit of the struggle but again I figure that was par for the course with take-home food. That being said, my wife went to Georgia for undergrad and they have the football watch parties here and she was raving about how nice and welcoming. Everybody was both service at this place as well as the other people who put on the Georgia watch parties so I feel like I'm going to suck it up And go not suck it up in the sense of the restaurant suck it up in the sense of I did not go to Georgia. I am a gator fan, but as long as it's not that game, I will be OK to root for them.

I ordered the fried catfish while she went with the steak sliders and a margarita. The catfish plate was impressive -- plenty of lightly battered catfish piled on top of a huge serving of waffle fries. The fish was cooked just right, not overly fried or greasy, and it definitely filled me up. I would absolutely order it again. My wife wasn't as impressed with the steak sliders, and we both agreed her waffle fries were a little too salty. On the positive side, she really enjoyed her margarita, which helped make up for the meal a bit. One thing we both really appreciated was that they offer a 15% discount for Military and Veterans, which is always a nice gesture to see. Overall, it was still a good first experience. I'll definitely be back for the catfish, and my wife said she'd try something different next time. Nice atmosphere, good service, and worth checking out if you haven't been before.
