Barflys is a great bar. From great prices to friendly bartenders your sure to have a good time here. With a surprisingly large patio and friendly regulars it's hard not to feel at home and being a pet friendly bar you'll find some nice furry buddies and a kitty or two around. Saturdays karaoke is great night to come by also!

Michael our server was pleasant and very detailed, made sure to get our order just perfect! He came to check on us at the perfect times and offered drinks to go. The food was delicious and hot, seasoned well. I had the friend chicken that came with green beans and mashed potatoes Perfect from top to bottom. Chicken was crispy and not dry, green beans were aldente. The only negative thing was that we watched one of hosts clean a table across from us (long hair with glasses) she scooped all of the food and crumbs from the table and brushed it all food into the floor. A little training is needed for her. If you haven't been here in a while, I recommend trying them again. I'm glad that I did.

Maybe today was just an off day for the server Michael and who ever was in the kitchen. First things first, Michael the server. Dude you need an attitude adjustment big time. When you took my order for my food and drink which was for a glass of water and it took a long time to get said glass of water which you just dropped in front of me and it spilled on my hand and you walked away and I had to call you back for a straw of which you threw at me over another guest. Let me tell you buddy, if I was your manager today would have been your last. You were rude and disrespectful. Now onto the review of the food. Which is normally pretty good. Today I had a half sandwich and soup. The soup was cold and the sandwich had a ridiculous small amout of chicken salad on it for the cost. Now, I've run a kitchen or two in my day and this I am sure absolutely did not match what ever portion board the kitchen uses. My plate was taken away and returned by my server Michael again just plopped infront of me as he walks away not waiting to see if this was to my liking. So, today this establishment gets a thumbs down and a NY raspberry.

We should've just ate at home. We came at 11 pm on July 5th. The one star is for the hostess being polite. We sat down at the bar and were ignored for awhile even though it was slow. Finally, a dark haired younger lady came over looking annoyed and asked us what we want. We ordered some drinks which took another 10 minutes to get to. She looked either hung over or burnt out. Either way, no excuse to be rude to patrons. We finally got our drinks and then no offer to take our order. I finally flagged her down about our burgers and she said "the guy over there will be with you in a bit." (Apparently, the only guy actually working and able to take information down). Mind you, it was only us and one other couple in the entire bar. By that time we lost our appetite. We went ahead and cashed out and decided to go somewhere that actually wants to make the money and not treat us as a burden. I will be taking this one off the list of recommendations as it appears all the good employees have moved on. Get your stuff together. No one should ever feel this way due to staff being hungover or unable to do a simple task.

I still got the mac & cheese on the side because I'm forever going be a mac & cheese girly but 54th St. never disappoints. We went in on a Saturday night. We were sat immediately no wait, and our server was really friendly. He was nice and a tentative. I highly recommend 54th St. for families or even a date night.

I'm visiting from out of town and I wasn't sure where to go to watch a boxing match. Thank goodness I came across Bar three twenty one! Plenty of seating and lucky for me it was not a busy night. Plenty of TV's including a huge (maybe 75 inch) in the middle. Not a bad seat in the entire bar. They have a full bar, my drunk was just ok, BUT I probably should have stuck with something more basic (I had a Henny sour). Definitely a good spot with a few arcades and a pool table. Check it out!

Morrissey hadn't graced San Antonio in over 10 years, with past cancellations and postponements haunting fans along the way. So when he finally returned, San Antonio Moz fans showed up and showed out. Despite multiple after-party options across the city, fans from Brazil, the UK, Canada, Japan, and all across the U.S. chose Bang Bang Bar as the place to be on a cold Saturday night. Hosted by local emcee Ricardo Moz and Apollo DJ, the night turned into one for the history books. Bang Bang Bar is easily one of Texas' best dive-lounge bars...the perfect blend of gritty and cozy. Great cocktail program, solid beer selection, and a vibe that just works. The décor leans heavy into a 1950s-60s lounge aesthetic, with intimate spaces like the Blue Room and Yellow Room, perfect for groups of 7-10. Low lighting, warm atmosphere, and zero pretension exactly what you want for a night like this. Bang Bang Bar consistently supports local and touring acts, spanning punk, alternative, and DJ-driven nights, and this Moz Smiths Disco was no exception. It was wall-to-wall classics all night long. Major credit to Phanie and the Bang Bang Bar management they rolled up their sleeves, brought in extra bar staff, and handled an overwhelming crowd like pros. Fans waited up to 45 minutes in the cold, with a line wrapping around the building, and the energy inside never dipped. As the host of Panic On The Streets, I'm incredibly thankful to Bang Bang Bar for helping us pull off one of the best after-parties we've done in years. Fittingly, 2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of both Bang Bang Bar and Panic On The Streets of San Antonio and what a way to celebrate. Bang Bang Bar has long been one of my favorite bars in town, and after this night, that reputation is more than earned. Can't wait to do another Moz Smiths Disco here. -- Panic On The Streets of San Antonio
