This was a last-minute invite for me. I haven't been back since they stopped selling LoveLuvv…read moreSparkling Wines. If you know, you know. However, a friend got stood up, so I came in to fill the spot. First, I have to say this is definitely a nice little spot tucked into Homewood. It sits right in the heart of its town-ish downtown area and really completes that "where to go and meet the locals" vibe. The staff is always nice, and the drinks are always strong. Honestly, I would love to have something like this in the South Loop, but at the same time, I think part of what makes it work is exactly where it is. The main floor is comfortable and accessible, with loveseats, bar stools, and plenty of space to settle in. It falls just a hair short of having that comfortable neighborhood restaurant feel, just without the restaurant or the food. The cool part is that you can bring in food from any of the local places down the street, which fits perfectly with the whole neighborhood atmosphere. Then there's the basement speakeasy, which has an entirely different feel and is easily one of my favorite parts of the place. Overall, this is one of those places that reminds you that you don't always have to head into the city to find a great night out. It's comfortable, welcoming, has plenty of personality, and feels like it belongs exactly where it is. If you're in the south suburbs and looking for a place to grab a strong drink, meet up with friends, or just settle in and enjoy the evening, this should absolutely be on your list.

I have been to this establishment twice. The first time for a Simbryt concert on 5/14/26 and the…read moresecond time on 5/20/26 to try out their Karaoke. The set up is nice. When you first walk in, there is the bar with comfy seating at the bar and lounge area. The concert was downstairs so staff guides you where to go when coming in. Concert was fantastic and pricing was excellent for all what we got that night. The mood setting is nice downstairs for a concert. I had a lemondrop from the bar which was really good. Karaoke was on a school night. A DJ controls the Karaoke selections using Karafun. There were about 8 of us there. The DJ was playing good music in between if you wanted to take the mic and sing. Our group individually sang a few songs. It would be nice to have more of an enthusiastic audience, that is what we are used to at other venues. All in all, this is a great spot. Staff is super friendly, especially the female bar attendant on the main floor. I wished they served food here but you can order food for delivery to eat inside. Thanks Copper Still!

Dear, I am writing…read moreto formally express my deep disappointment regarding the service I experienced at your facility during an event on May 30th. As a fellow business owner, I prioritize excellence in customer care, and I was disheartened to encounter a significant lack of professional courtesy at your establishment. Throughout the evening, the staff demonstrated an unacceptable attitude toward myself and other guests. Specifically, a simple request for an extra chair was met with hostility, and another guest was treated poorly while merely attempting to assist in clearing a table. Despite my efforts to remain respectful and address these interactions calmly, the situation escalated when I was inappropriately escorted out by security. This response was entirely unwarranted, as there was no intimidation or threat posed at any time. Communication and genuine kindness are the foundations of any successful business, particularly within our community. The treatment I received as a guest was unprofessional and does not reflect the level of service one expects from such an establishment. I trust you will take this feedback seriously and address these internal service issues with your team. I look forward to hearing how you intend to improve the guest experience moving forward. Sincerely,
