The booking system is malfunctioning to schedule an appointment to view the room and discuss…read moredetails. The coordinator was not very nice in her delivery. It seems to me if you did not get their decorations package you did not get the best service. The room was supposed to hold 100, very doubtful. None was around at the time we arrived cutting into our set up time. I did not have a place to store my things as promised. The table they set up collapsed causing the food spill. The bar was located at the entrance with a VERY slow bartender causing a pile up at the door. I know this had to be a safety violation. There were no one onsite to assist with issues we were having until well into when the event started. My party turned out well because I was walking around making people laugh when they had concerns about the establishment. I did not enjoy myself because of that. I'm disappointed because its a beautiful place in a convenient location. It was the customer service that is lacking which is everything to me. It appears if you don't buy all their upsell products you don't get the best service. I hope the facility read the comments and really consider what is being said to improve their service. I want them to succeed and I hope they will not overlook the disappointing comments of their past customers. I wanted to book another event but I just can't with the current level of service.

About 5 years ago Calumet CC was sold to a company that wanted to create a truck facility…read more Community objected and owner operated as a public golf course. A group of friends and I purchased golf packages each year up until 2025. We patronized the course despite: 1. Poor course maintenance; 2. A requirement that online tee times had to be paid in advance even when we purchased a package; 3. The pro shop phone is rarely answered; 4. GPS does not work on many holes; 5. A teenager as the only pro shop employee on most days. I went to the pro shop on September 10, 2025 to make tee times as well as raise the other issues identified above. General Manager Ed told me to go play place elsewhere and when I expressed our disappointment, we argued and he ordered me out of the pro shop and cancelled the tee times I had requested. I told him we had paid for tee times not used and he said we would be reimbursed, but leave now. My group plays at many south suburban golf courses and we have never experienced this level of customer service. Their business is bad, and we know why.
