This place is amazing! You walk in to a trendy fun and welcoming bar. The bar tenders greeted us with friendly smiling faces. We found a place to sit in the back & we were given menus. Neither of us had ever been there before so we asked for recommendations. We went with something fruity, I think it was called paradise something, it had pineapple and coconut in it. But we had that to start. It was delicious. Then she came back and I asked for a recommendation on the dessert portion of the menu and she said the cupcake martini was a huge hit and so my friend & I did went with that -- just a note the cupcake martini has a lot more alcohol in it than the first one, whoa... -- but it was still really good! My friend and I had a blast while drinking our martinis and enjoying the atmosphere in the lounge. The way they set it up is really nice. I went home and immediately told my boyfriend about it. I'm really looking forward to going back and trying out different drinks! I haven't heard people talk about this place. It's like a hidden gem in Homewood!

It sits right in the heart of its town-ish downtown area and really completes that "where to go and meet the locals" vibe. The staff is always nice, and the drinks are always strong. Honestly, I would love to have something like this in the South Loop, but at the same time, I think part of what makes it work is exactly where it is. The main floor is comfortable and accessible, with loveseats, bar stools, and plenty of space to settle in. It falls just a hair short of having that comfortable neighborhood restaurant feel, just without the restaurant or the food. The cool part is that you can bring in food from any of the local places down the street, which fits perfectly with the whole neighborhood atmosphere. Then there's the basement speakeasy, which has an entirely different feel and is easily one of my favorite parts of the place. Overall, this is one of those places that reminds you that you don't always have to head into the city to find a great night out. It's comfortable, welcoming, has plenty of personality, and feels like it belongs exactly where it is. If you're in the south suburbs and looking for a place to grab a strong drink, meet up with friends, or just settle in and enjoy the evening, this should absolutely be on your list.

A group of friends and I purchased golf packages each year up until 2025. We patronized the course despite: 1. Poor course maintenance; 2. A requirement that online tee times had to be paid in advance even when we purchased a package; 3. The pro shop phone is rarely answered; 4. GPS does not work on many holes; 5. A teenager as the only pro shop employee on most days. I went to the pro shop on September 10, 2025 to make tee times as well as raise the other issues identified above. General Manager Ed told me to go play place elsewhere and when I expressed our disappointment, we argued and he ordered me out of the pro shop and cancelled the tee times I had requested. I told him we had paid for tee times not used and he said we would be reimbursed, but leave now. My group plays at many south suburban golf courses and we have never experienced this level of customer service. Their business is bad, and we know why.

Our server Michaela was very friendly and suggested a few food items for my wife which were GF. I started with the House Old Fashion and my wife had the Bee's Knees. Both were very good and cost 10.00 each. For lunch I tried their Pecan Whiskey BBQ wings. 5 wings cost 10.00. They were good size and very tasty but I didn't taste any of the Pecan Whiskey flavor. My wife had the Barbacoa Tacos which were filled with braised beef. She could only eat 2 of them so I had the third taco. Flavorful but I would have preferred more salsa or a dipping sauce. I wanted to try their Drop Dead Bourbon separately so I had a small tasting. I loved it so much I bought a bottle to bring home. Cost was 60.00. The history of this distillery dates back to 1857 and is one of Illinois' oldest standing distillerys and was once Al Capones largest bootlegging facility during prohibition. I would love to go back and try a few more of their hand crafted cocktails and one of their signature burgers.

Extremely long and slow greens, I'm assuming they haven't mowed in several days. Still charged $125 for a 10am tee time on Friday with no notification to players with how bad the course is. Either notify players on the condition or dont charge $125. Honestly, it's disrespectful. The club pro, Andrew, said "tough luck". Very helpful. I separately heard his coaching isn't the greatest.

Specifically, a simple request for an extra chair was met with hostility, and another guest was treated poorly while merely attempting to assist in clearing a table. Since the…read moreeven was tailored to our pets, we had to submit photos prior and the outlines were set for us. My friend and I could request to sit next to each other when we purchased our seats. The prices were more than fair for the amount of work the instructors put in for this event! There was also another paint and sip party in the backroom, the place is larger than you expect looking from the outside. The location is easily accessible and had ample room for a party in the back while we painted our pets out front. Lisa and the other instructor (we only caught one of the instructor's names) were incredibly patient. As someone who isn't very talented in the art department, I didn't feel shamed when I had questions or ran into a problem that I couldn't fix. The two hours flew by and there were many laughs and smiles had by all. It's a really well kept area and I would definitely come back here for another event.

It is a bright and cheery location with plenty of room to roam. There are actually 2 paint rooms, one larger than the other. Both are decorated in a colorful and whimsical way! As far as food and drinks are concerned, this is a BYOB and bring your own food location, but they supply the plates, napkins, cups, and ice. Our instructor was fun and upbeat, making most anyone feel comfortable to attempt putting paint into canvas! In my group were people who had never done a paint and sip before, but their artwork still turned out beautifully.
