Nails- I get hybrid gel when I go. Quality is fantastic each time and she's always honest around designs she can and can't do. She takes great care in shaping, filing, and even thinning out the underside or inside part of the nail. My nails last 2 weeks and 3 weeks if I file them down myself so they don't get too long. Haven't tried the pedicure but people always seem to get them. Service- Nancy and her team are lovely. It can be a mixed bag on warmth, but I think it's really dependent on you, the client. Not every stylist is going to become your best friend or be your therapist. And coming from an Asian background myself certain mannerisms and body language might come off to people with non-Asian backgrounds as cold or rude. Nancy is really just a quiet person, you can even tell when she speaks Viet she is very soft spoken, so don't take her reservedness as her not liking you. I think any introvert can empathize there. Once she warms up to you she is really lovely. And even after all that and you still feel like it ain't just try somewhere else, no need to leave a review unless she cut your finger off. The staff also wears gloves when handling our nails. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is decent. They share the lot with several other establishments. Parking spaces are decent as well. Staff: The staff here are very nice, friendly, and professional. My friends and I got the gel manicure and regular pedicure. We actually wanted nudes colors for BOTH our mani and pedi, but the person who did our pedi gave us a gray-ish looking color one. It did not match our mani, and we only realized it a couple of hours later. We had told her we wanted #488 for both our toes and fingers. The colors on our fingers were correct, but not our toes. That's why I removed one star. Thankfully, many of us wore long dresses for the wedding, and people were not paying attention to our toes. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

I requested a Deluxe gel pedicure ($40) but when I paid they said they had to add the gel ($55). It makes sense but I wish they had more transparency on their pricing. Another reason I am not giving them a higher rating is this last time I went, I did not enjoy my experience. The guy doing my nails complained that they were very fragile and broke off. Which is true, and I did not blame him for that, sometimes my nails break off easily, this is not the reason for my rating. The reason I gave a lower rating is 1) he decided to use super glue on my nail and 2) he cut me a few times. This is the first time someone has used super glue because my nails were fragile. Maybe he was trying to cover up something. Not sure. But the cuts he made hurt a lot. He didn't do my gel application, another nail tech did and when she would use acetone, it burned A LOT. I got a classic gel pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure cleaned up my nails really thoroughly: buzzed off the gel I had before, cleaned my cuticles, and cut my nails. I went in on Wednesday March 18th for a gel-x manicure. This salon is not my norm as I typically go…read moreto Top Nail but decided to give this local salon a chance. As of Thursday March 26th I have lost the thumb nail on my left hand and the nails on my left index finger and left middle finger are lifting and preparing to pop off. If you look at the photos attached, you'll see the nail came off of my finger smoothly, there is no tearing of the natural nail because the nail did not come off from force but from improper application. All the loose nails are on my non dominant hand so it is not from misuse or strain. From the start of the appointment things weren't going well. As she put the nails up to my finger, they felt too wide. When the manicurist, Kelly, was trying to glue the nails on, she was squeezing my fingers so tightly that they hurt and were turning bright red. She tried to cure the nail under the blue light but kept accidentally hitting it with my finger and turning it off. She was going in circles the entire appointment trying to keep the light on and turning it off. When she would finish with a nail she would use her nail to scrape the glue from my nail because since the nail was too wide it was being glued onto my skin. This was my first sign that she is inexperienced. When she finished with my right hand I looked at it and was horrified, two nails were visibly crooked. I said something and she just brushed me off and said that she would file them so they were not crooked. This makes no sense because the base of the nail will still be misaligned no matter how much you file. I expressed my concern again and she again brushed me off. When she got started on my left hand I expressed concern over the fact that the first nail she put on (pinky) was again crooked. She seemed frustrated and TORE THE NAIL OFF MY FINGER AGGRESSIVELY. I won't go into detail with the other concerns, you can see for yourself the unnatural pink, crooked nails, overly thick French tip, etc. To top it all off it took her almost two hours to apply the nails!! I sucked it up that they might not be visually what I wanted, paid, and left. But now that the nails are all lifting and coming off after only having them on for a week I had to write a review and warn others. I have had countless gel-x sets put on at Top Nail and have never encountered such poor technique and application. This was genuinely the worst manicure I have ever received. So disappointed and would NEVER recommend someone visit this salon. I genuinely would've been better with press ons from Target. This was a complete waste of two hours of my time and $75.
