This salon is old and junky. Even when I had an appointment I had to wait 15-20 minutes. It seems they don't have enough people working there. They nickel and dime you for everything instead of offering it in a standard package. They always try to upsell you to getting a gel pedicure or manicure. When I smudged my toe on two different occasions, I was scolded both times that I should have gotten gel! Customers service used to be better but they have changed. Also, they have a limited colors for regular nail polish. read more

Updated review: I went on vacation to hawaii 2 days after I got my nails done! Due to me getting the gel on my natural nails, I did not expect my nail polish to last the action filled trip! We were snorkeling , swimming in rivers, rock filled oceans, kayaking, etc. I was hitting and scraping my nails (and toenails) at least 2 times a day. Never once did the polish chip or begin to peel. I came here before I went to visit family out of town and I was disappointed in my old salon in simi where my boyfriend lived so I decided to go to this place on a whim since it was close to wear I live and go to school at. The owners were sweet and laid back. The man who did my pedicure and manicure did great compared to the man at elite nails in simi. This man did amazing and did my pedicure fast but not rushed where it felt relaxing. The manicure was great and I loved how the color looked on my hands. The lady did my waxing and was sweet and polite throughout the whole process. I would say they are more of an older salon and limited on colors but it's a nice place to go if you need any last minute work. My boyfriend and I called to make appointments since so many of the nail salons are still closed. We were able to get in but when we showed up on time they're were busy and we waited for 30 minutes. No one told us on the phone prior our appointments or even before they started the pedicure that they were only taking cash and not credit cards. $30 for a regular manicure without any extras is ridiculous! 2 days later my toes look dry and are in need of more TLC. Absolutely LOVE this nail salon!!! I had acrylic nails put on 6 weeks ago and my nails are still on perfectly!! They could definitely be filled but I don't have the money for it currently. I am just so surprised all of my nails are still on because I am so clumsy and usually when my nails are done somewhere else, they will get ruined within a couple weeks but not when they are done here! oh my gosh, Tom did such a good job on my acrylics. And on top of that it was only $30 and usually i get mine done for $50-$60! I was originally go to my go to nail salon but they were all booked, so i decided to try this nail salon and booked an appointment. Amazing!!! I fell in love with gel-dipped-powder method for my nails and it turns out this was the only place in Camarillo that has this service. I've always had bad experiences with acrylic and the UV light gel colors ruining my nails and very messy to have removed. So when I found this newer method of dipping your nails into gel-powder for color and I fell in love with it!! The removal method does include soaking but it rubs off with acetone easyily. It seems as if my natural nails grow longer and stronger with this new method. Katie is the best at this application - great at attention to detail, cuticle cutting, and lotion massage. I got a new full set of acrylics here after not having them for several months because they have always done a good job at a good price. But this time when I got home from the salon, I noticed that the nails were very loose and felt as though if I did simple tasks such as picking up my purse, that they would break. Tom also didn't put the nails down to my nail bed, straight out of the salon it looked like they had grown out for a week already. I am very cautious with my nails and the next day one of my nails was peeling off of my natural nail. I can't believe this because normally they last me a while. I was hoping to go back and have them fix it for me but I had to leave for an international trip. I was very disappointed in the service I got here this time and I wish I had time to go demand a refund.. Really disappointing.. $33 gone to waste.. **update** I just took off the nail that was almost off and it appears to have only had one dot of adhesive on the center of the nail..
