I arrived early so I was waiting in my car and I was greeted with a smile by a nice man name Todd. He asked did I need help and he quickly directed me where to I could park. He even told me the GEICO representative would be able to help me right away! The receptionist was personable and friendly. Yes she was all smiles as she checked me in. My adjuster Frank was awesome and funny! He was thoroughly knowledgeable of his craft. He quickly informed me of the damages and he even spoke to the Geico representative about the specifics. I strongly recommend against utilizing this facility. As an employee in the casualty insurance industry, I am deeply disheartened to learn that this is the service being provided to our customers. On two separate occasions I have had issues with repairs being completed on time, as well as being up to repair standards. The employees often take on a "this is just the way it is" attitude, and offer little to no assistance. It has been over one month and the latest update I received was that a date for completion could not be provided because everyone is "short staffed." The employees do not communicate with one another and provide conflicting information. I have been in direct contact with Tony the manager who provides the same subpar service. Charged me $50 for an estimate on top of the $80 for the oil change and quoted me thousands for low-cost parts. Said I wasted his time reviewing this car for one day overnight, but he couldn't give me a quote for thousands until he had my car overnight: see the gimmick, yet? Get the picture? I recently veered to avoid another vehicle and had an unexpected and unpleasant encounter with a barrier. Consequently, my vehicle needed some body work. I had no previous experience with same, so was going to have my car towed to the body shop nearest to my home. My insurance company said this was fine, but recommended that I go to a shop with which they were affiliated. I'm so glad I took their advice. Very impressed with these guys. I actually just got off the phone with them. Girlfriend had her car in there a few weeks ago after an accident and her insurance had them do the repairs. The car was done 2 days faster then they originally said it would be, which never happens at a shop. If you saw her car before hand you'd be shocked that it was fixed so quickly. We had a problem with it after we got it back. Turns out it was completely unrelated but they did the job before, but took care of it anyway at no charge. They have a lifetime guarantee on the work they do, and everybody I've talked to there is honest and polite. You can trust these guys. read more

I really wanted to give these guys 5 stars, but can't. My truck was in the shop 4 days longer than promised, and no update was given to me as to why until I picked it up. The reasons were legit and I absolutely wanted them to do the best job they could, but communication was poor. I also had a CC system installed for towing, and the cable was not properly re-routed, simply curled up and tossed into the truck bed, so even after the extra time, it wasn't actually 'done'. These folks are VERY friendly, and even arranged an oil change and tire rotation for me so definite 4 stars, hopefully if I need to use them again we nail the times and I can upgrade my review. read more

Took care of the insurance claim and explained exactly how, where, and when things would be done. This facility use paint of a different base, and recommended I get a bottle from my dealership. They made it look like as if nothing ever happened. They were very nice and quick. I took my 8 month old car to Somerdale Collision in 2/2006. My insurance company recommended them. When I went to pick it up, some dents were still present and it was a poor paint job. There were drips, dirt and etc. Went back once and walked away. 5/2011 Car had 51,000 miles and the roof paint was dead! I called my insurance company to tell them about the bad repair and the current condition. They had Somerdale Collision give me a rental car and try once again to repair my car. Car arrived about 1:30pm on 5/23 and was returned on 5/27 around 3:30pm. Once again it was a bad finish, dirt and such, dents were gone. They buffed and asked me to come back after the holiday weekend. It was now 4:30pm on Memorial Day Weekend. I went home to see they put at least 3 big scratches in the finish while buffing. I called Tony, he said ok, we will take care of it. So 6/9 and I brought the car in for the 30 minute repair. I left it for 2 hours and it still wasn't ready. The excuses were it was lunch break, I came at 1pm like they asked and that it was hot out. So I wait, it comes out and there is still a mark and the scratches. In it goes again, comes out with the scratches still! So Tony states that he can't buff any more or he might burn the paint. If he burnt the paint then he would have to paint it. He was too busy, so drive it for the summer and bring it back in the fall! So I left with the scratches. When I got in the car they once again found it necessary to change my radio station. Add to that they changed the time on my clock, switched my AC to heat. Had it on high and blasting! It was 100 degrees out! How immature is that? I called my insurance company and they are having whoever I want repair it and making Somerdale Collision pay for it. I would never recommend this place! If you do car repairs you should be very detailed orientated and be proud of your work. read more
