They have a good variety of beer - I really liked the hazy IPA. They also sell some tasty snacks, we tried the dill cheese curds from a local farm and they were tasty! They provide traditional styles, a great space both inside and out, and a very welcoming staff. I grabbed a flight and went outside to soak up sun and enjoy the beers. Lazy Day IPA: A Juicy New England IPA with medium citrus and medium-low bitterness. A hint of spice and a bit of sweetness from a lactose addition. Frontage Road Toasted Coconut: A Stout with toasted coconut additions - a variation on their standard Frontage Road Stout. Medium-high coconut and toasted nut flavors, low dark coffee bitterness, and hint of vanilla sweetness. Body on the lighter side which makes it possible to enjoy on a warm sunny day. Golden Coffee Ale: A Golden Ale with medium-high coffee bitterness, light black pepper, and mild nutty / floral finish. Very refreshing with strong coffee flavors in a lighter bodied beer without being astringent and my favorite of the four! Serendipity: A house made Ginger Beer sitting at 4.6% ABV. You don't see a Ginger Beer on tap very often so I had to grab it. This one had lemon and lime added, and they use it as a base for ginger beer based mixed drinks as well. This had a lighter ginger flavor with high carbonation. Would love to try it in a cocktail! ______________________

The same could be said of the ambiance. On the plus side: The potatoes were good. The ham was ok, but like a pressed roll, not a true ham. The green salad was fresh and the dressings were tasty, however, I don't remember any toppings except croutons and shredded cheese. On the negative side: There was no cooked green vegetable. They were out of scrambled eggs both times I went up. The coating on the chicken was moist and unappealing. Nobody liked the potato salad. The 2 dessert selections were store-bought pies, and the cheap kind. We took a couple bites and it just wasn't worth finishing. The only decoration was the bling hanging permanently from the ceiling. The big stage was rough & unattractive & unadorned. The tables were fake wood-grained folding style with no cloths. The dishes were paper, the cutlery and glasses were plastic. There were no flowers on the tables or ANY indications of the special holiday being celebrated: Easter. We might as well have been in a high school gym. The waiters did 3 things: took our beverage orders and delivered them; removed used plates; wrote our checks and took our money. They never came to see if we needed drink refills or ask if everything was ok. It was an insult to disappoint an entire family on a special occasion and not only charge $22 per adult, but charge a 3% surcharge for using a credit card and charge extra for drinks. We actually left hungry! Our family will NOT be returning.

I've stayed at a Staybridge Suites before in another state and it was an excellent experience so I…read morehad solid expectations before checking into this Rochester location. It did ***not*** disappoint at all. There's so much to rave about - let's start with the A+ location - you have so many conveniences within very close walking distance - Costco Aldi Cub McDonalds and 2 sit down restaurants. And there's even more food options a short walk away. Hands down one of the best things about this hotel. Upon check in, I noticed live music from the lobby and was informed there's hospitality weeknight Monday-Wednesday where a modest offering of food and entertainment is free to guests. Now is it extravagant food? Of course not. But the fact that any FREE hot food in the evening is almost unheard with other hotel chains. I think it's a tremendous offer for guests checking in around the dinner hour to have a light snack, if they choose, without having to immediately seek out dinner options. It's a really nice way to settle in first. The property is well maintained, as are the rooms. I found my king suite to be spacious with more than enough room for work and personal needs. The only feedback I have is sound between floors. I was woken up in the middle of the night by routinely loud neighbors upstairs, which was disruptive. I remedied it by turning the central fan on auto to drown out the sound. Breakfast offerings are decent and pretty standard for free breakfast. But seeing fresh blueberries was a treat and a welcome change. I also appreciated the to go boxes set out for those who needed breakfast on the go. I never see that at other hotels. I think it's the small and meaningful gestures that make Staybridge Suites a personal favorite of mine and why it's one of my hotels of choice when I travel. If I'm back in Rochester again, I'm staying here.

Good- newer hotel w good happy hour M-W and complementary breakfast…read more Bad- although close to Mayo w road work it's 30 mins in traffic. Garage gets filled up and also road parking. Service at front desk is terrible. Good in restaurant inside is limited and okay.

An absolutely stunning place for a wedding! Came here for an October wedding, and I absolutely fell…read morein love with the rustic farm vibe. The little barn houses, the field, everything was inviting and elegant, yet rustic and homey. The outdoor ceremony area was also great, with benches set up, a beautiful gate for the married couple to walk in through, etc. The staff were super atttentive and friendly. My only gripe was that they did not seem well equipped to handle super cold weather (there were some blankets) but the ceremony was super chilly and I wish the heat was turned on more in the dining area.

I had arrived early to get ready at the bridal suite which was in one of the little buildings. It had the restrooms inside on the first floor & the bridal suite on the second. There were only three of us bridesmaids, but even with others stopping in to see the bride, there was plenty of room to get ready. The best part was that there was a lot of natural lighting & lots of mirrors for us to use. I didn't see the grooms suite but there was a separate building for that as well! The wedding ceremony area had luscious grass with seating benches for the guests & big wooden doors for a grand entrance. It was nice for the wedding party to be able walk down & then have a pause (with doors closed) as the bride stepped up for her entrance. The reception was then held inside the big barn building just off to the side from the ceremony. The space was large with wooden tables & chairs set up for guests. Although we didn't use it, there was a firepit next to the building for use as well! Drinks & appetizers were served before the reception started at the side barn building. It was just a few feet away from the main reception. My favorite though, was the barn space that was first seen when entering the venue from the parking lot. Our friends had opted to utilize it for photos to put inside the guest book! Overall, a cute venue. Since I was a guest, I don't know any of the logistics of touring / reserving the space but my friend (the bride) did say that they're booked up pretty much every weekend!

We were warmly greeted by staff when we got here, got the camper set up and came in for some food and a tasting. They have a nice menu of appetizers, salads, flatbreads and sandwiches. We got the 3 dip combo which was salsa, buffalo chicken and a southwestern bean dip. They were all really good. We both had a wine tasting of 4 wines and ended up getting a bottle of the Lazy Days Itasca. It was a crisp white wine that was refreshing while sitting outside on the patio. So, for the wine "purists" out there, remember, these are not necessarily like nice, earthy pinots, merlots or cabernets that you pour in a big glass and enjoy with dinner. More like light, sweeter pino grigios or rieslings. We drink them mostly like sweet dessert wines (think port) in small glasses after a meal or late in the evening. If you come at them from this perspective, you won't be disappointed as you might be if you went here looking for a conventional table wine. Great location, nice facilities, enjoyable wines and pretty good food. I had the Norwegian sandwich - VERY good. It's out past the Seed Savers, so if you are looking for something to do after visiting them - this may be just the ticket. Highly recommended.
