An absolutely stunning place for a wedding! Came here for an October wedding, and I absolutely fell in love with the rustic farm vibe. The little barn houses, the field, everything was inviting and elegant, yet rustic and homey. The outdoor ceremony area was also great, with benches set up, a beautiful gate for the married couple to walk in through, etc. The staff were super atttentive and friendly. My only gripe was that they did not seem well equipped to handle super cold weather (there were some blankets) but the ceremony was super chilly and I wish the heat was turned on more in the dining area. read more

As a guest (part of the bridal party) at Legacy Hill Farm, I was impressed with the venue! When driving up the road, all that can be seen is a house with a small sign on the gate but we quick saw that there was a lot more waiting just over the hill. I had arrived early to get ready at the bridal suite which was in one of the little buildings. It had the restrooms inside on the first floor & the bridal suite on the second. There were only three of us bridesmaids, but even with others stopping in to see the bride, there was plenty of room to get ready. The best part was that there was a lot of natural lighting & lots of mirrors for us to use. I didn't see the grooms suite but there was a separate building for that as well! The wedding ceremony area had luscious grass with seating benches for the guests & big wooden doors for a grand entrance. It was nice for the wedding party to be able walk down & then have a pause (with doors closed) as the bride stepped up for her entrance. The reception was then held inside the big barn building just off to the side from the ceremony. The space was large with wooden tables & chairs set up for guests. Although we didn't use it, there was a firepit next to the building for use as well! Drinks & appetizers were served before the reception started at the side barn building. It was just a few feet away from the main reception. My favorite though, was the barn space that was first seen when entering the venue from the parking lot. Our friends had opted to utilize it for photos to put inside the guest book! Overall, a cute venue. Since I was a guest, I don't know any of the logistics of touring / reserving the space but my friend (the bride) did say that they're booked up pretty much every weekend! read more

HOLY CRAP !!!! This was simply a magical venue on a magical day. There are no bad pictures to take here. So very very picturesque. A real photo op everywhere on the premises. It is located not far from St Paul, easy to find. Treasure Island Casino is really close, and they will provide a shuttle bus to and from the Farm. There is an outbuilding with a full bar, a covered pavillion, and stunning shabby chic vignettes throught the grounds. You will NOT be disappointed if you book your event here. Was at a wedding here this summer, was concerned with the fact the benches they had at the ceremony area are starting to rot and I had to constantly brace the bench my family sat on because it felt like it was tipping forward on us. Also several of the gravel walk ways were washed out. At the end of the night the venue staff rushed to clean up and get us out of there. Seriously, the bride and groom hadn't even made it to their car and the staff was tearing stuff down. I would also like to give a word of caution to those looking at this venue for their wedding. Read the Contract thoroughly before signing on the dotted line. I'll just say I find the lack of criticizing reviews concerning... other than that the weather was beautiful and the bride and groom are now happily married. read more

Where am I supposed to start with this place? Picturesque. One of a Kind. Gorgeous. Perfect. We hosted our wedding here on 7/16/16. We toured the venue when it was just a blue print plan. At the time, it was just a field. Joan & Britni (who run the events and live there) were wonderful & we believed in their vision for what Legacy Hill Farm would be. Once the plans were completed, the reality far exceeded our wildest dreams. The ceremony area, reception pavilion, bar and bridal suite were beautifully completed and naturally create a seamless flow from one thing to the next on your wedding day. The ceremony area is complete with real pews outdoors overlooking a rolling green field complete with wedding arbor. From there, your guests can follow a short path to the bar, fire pit and pavilion area. I knew I loved the vision for this farm when Joan showed me all of her inspiration for designs around the farm on Pinterest. This place embraces and combines the old with the new. There are vintage touches and modern finishes...a venue you can choose to dress up or down. I could go on and on, but here are the main highlights we enjoyed: -Joan and Britni run the farm (and live there) and they really care about your wedding day. They are kind, helpful and accommodating. My daughter was still nursing as well as a bridesmaid who had just had a baby. They allowed us late access to the bridal suite so we could pump and have a private space. So very sweet. -THE BRIDAL SUITE. You guys, it's something right out of an HGTV dream. Your bridesmaids will love relaxing here. Complete with mini fridge, personal bathroom, seating, mirrors, closet, etc. -Photo Ops Galore! The farm provided countless backdrops for pictures. -The security guard. The farm contracts a security guard for $175 cash that you pay for that night. This is going to sound strange...but he was one of my favorite features of the farm. He got me my first drink after the grand march, he helped light the fire pit, he was so kind and respectful communicating any details my point person needed, he escorted me to our bus at the end of the night holding the umbrella for me every step of the way, AND he gave us a bottle of wine at the end of the night. Hero city. -You don't need a ton of décor to transform this place. The features they include hold their own: French Bistro Chairs, White-Washed 8 ft tables for guest seating, Galvanized Metal Bar, fireplace, satin bride & groom chairs, shiplap walls...my heart is still fluttering. -New bathrooms on the lower level of the bridal suite. No porta potties here! -They have one preferred caterer & bar provider: This Little Piggy. This means the caterers come to the venue all the time and know what they're doing. The food was amazing and my guests are still talking about it. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased with everything. Truly wonderful memories of a very special day. What a unique and quaint venue. I love how there are different areas to partake of with various vibes. If you want to relax by the fire you can get away from the dancing barn. If you like the bar area that is separate also or just wander the grounds. They have an established and laid out area for ceremonies with seating already and even clean and adequate restroom facilities for guest. A beautiful location in the country. read more

My wife and I had our wedding at Legacy Hill Farm on 4/30/2021. I would have to say that it could not have gone any smoother and the 150 guests we were allowed to have all were blown away with the venue. I still here comments today about how unique and gorgeous all aspects of the venue were and how great the food was. Legacy did a very good job at informing us of what was included with the venue rental price and what our options were for decorating and setting up prior to the wedding. The Legacy staff and catering staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure all of our wedding day details were taken care of. We knew what was included with our rental agreement and price. I would have to say the price of the venue was worth every penny and I would do it here 10/10 times. We wouldn't have changed a single thing about our day and recommend this venue and catering to anyone who wants there special day to be one to remember. Dear Joan, I find it surprising that you believe that you "have strategically priced your venue to be able to offer what you believe to be an exceptional service included in the rate." I guess that's why your 2021 rate of $11,999 is now $9,999 in 2022 for the same night. Quite frankly you should match the 2022 pricing and refund the 2021 bookings $2,000. We had 2 vendors do that for us without even asking. They called and let me know what they were doing. Impressive. You charge $997 for an old ladder with greenery hanging above the fireplace. You charge $499 for "early access." For the prices you charge those should be included. As for the food vendors we are REQUIRED to choose from 1 of 3 of your vendors. May I ask what is the percentage that you are charging those vendors? Maybe that's why their prices are so high. It's $14 per person for a plated style meal. Which includes" china plates, stainless silverware, linen folded napkins and set on table, chargers, preset salads with bread and butter, guest water service, and appropriate serving staff. Hmmm... Weddings often have pizza served around 10:00. What is the charge per pizza or the per guest charge for this? No we were not expecting catering to be included in your venue rate. You claim complete transparency, yet NONE of the food pricing is on your website. As a matter of fact, getting "complete disclosure " on the menu options has not been easy. And when it's finally disclosed there is sticker shock. And as I mentioned, by this time it's too late. You need to lower your pricing and include more in that price. You should allow pizza's from any vendor that the party chooses. There should not be a service charge for wedding cake and desserts that are serve yourself. I stand by my original rating of 1 star. I would not book your venue had there been transparency and full disclosure. read more

Wow! What a beautiful venue! We visited Legacy Hill Farm in October and were thrilled to find out that they had openings still available for the following year's season! We quickly decided to book it for our wedding. It was the perfect combination of charm and amenities, and felt right! You know that feeling when you've found the place! This venue is designed for young people, if you invite older adults they will not enjoy it. You have to cross rocks in order to get to the sidewalks. You go downhill to the ceremony, you got back up hill to the main area for drinks. We had to wait 45 minutes in line for a drink since they did not have enough staff. You then have to go upstairs into another area to eat. You had to go uphill to yet another building to the restroom. Very chopped up venue and not enjoyable for older people. The food was picnic food for the high price per plate you pay. I would not recommend this venue at all. read more

The entire venue is such cool space - lots of areas for guests to mingle and for children to play during a cocktail hour. Love the outdoor bar space and then the barn - so beautiful for a reception! It isn't super small (so you can seat many people) but is such an intimate environment! Would highly recommend!!! read more

We would give Legacy Hill Farm a rating of 10 stars if possible. We recently had a family wedding there. From the first contact with the venue to the day of the wedding everything went beyond our expectations.The communication with the Legacy Hill Farm staff was detailed, well timed and very transparent. All questions and inquiries were answered and very complete. Joan and her staff went above and beyond to meet every need and desire to help design the wedding to make it personal and meaningful. There were many opportunities to choose to have as much help with decorating and coordinating of the wedding as was desired, with options to do things yourself or to have it done for you. We chose an option of both, with Hello Wildflower. Britni and her staff were great to work with and attentive to every detail. They worked with us to choose a reasonable service and price, while encouraging us to bring in our own style as well. The venue looked great from the pavilion where the meal and dance took place, as well as the welcoming barn with a pool table and the bar patio and fire pit area. The ceremony was held outside in the beautiful wooden pews that looked out into an open area. The bridal suite was perfect as well as the grooms cabin, great for the wedding party to get ready and spend time together. Legacy Hill Farm offers three catering venue choices that are separate from their venue, but are approved caterers. There were three very different food options with a lot of choices. The prices varied as did the services, but all were well stated several times in the selection process. We chose Distinctive Catering. The meal we chose was excellent restaurant quality. The food was delicious and the staff exceptional. The staff worked with us to choose a price, menu and bar options to meet our desires and budget. The beauty of this venue can not be expressed in words. It is beautiful and unique. Our guests ranged in age from a newborn infant to 91 years old. One of the advantages of this venue is that you can move around as guests. This was important to us as we were coming out of a global pandemic and working with restrictions.There is a paver walkway for the ceremony outside and sidewalks that connect the venue together with a fountain in the middle. The restrooms are handicapped accessible if needed. All the areas of the venue were used by all of our guests and accommodated many needs. There is beauty at Legacy Hill Farm that goes beyond the wonderful and unique buildings and settings. It Is the community it builds when families and friends come together for a wedding. It is the joy of being together to celebrate a couple beginning their married life together. We would highly recommend Legacy Hill Farm for any wedding from small to large.
