History

Established in 1997.

Jake and Holly grew up milking cows and farming and when they were near adulthood got horses and competed in speed events and team roping. They are very active in riding and working with the Ranch on a daily basis. Jake and Holly have the great spirit of the Old West and good old fashion values. They both enjoy the company of many people and you could not find a couple that would treat you more honest and true. They have remodeled the old historical barn into a stall barn and have built a 300 x 147 outdoor arena and a round pen. They have also built a 60 x 90 indoor venue with rooms and 60 x 80 - 12 stall barn. All of this is part of the state of the art boarding facility that includes, a cabin, numerous trailer/camper parking and miles of horse trails.

Meet the Business Owner: Jake and Holly Wieser W.

Jake was born and raised in SE MN raised around his dad's plumbing and excavating business and his grandparent's dairy farm. Jake has always loved horses but didn't get his first horse until he was an adult. After he got his first horse, he competed in speed events and team roping. Holly was born and raised on a dairy farm in NE Iowa. As teenager, she bought her first horses and competed in barrel racing and team roping. After graduating from high school, she started working for a local saddle maker, building custom saddles and making leather watch bands for a well known watch maker. In April of 2000, they meet at a rodeo and were married in October. Together they have built Outback Ranch a horse friendly campground with cabins, rooms, electrical and primitive campsites and 40 plus miles of horse trails. The have also built a start of the art stables with a big outdoor riding arena and a beautiful indoor and outdoor wedding venue for breath taking county weddings.
