Decent food but sometimes the enchiladas are just not cooked right! This time was no exception...my friend and I both had the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. The shredded cheese was not melted and the corn tortilla was hard. BUT I WILL SAY, when they are made right, their enchiladas are pretty good. The red and green sauce is really good. It's just hit or miss with their enchiladas. I have had the bean tostadas - good. Mini chimis with beans - good but mostly deep fried tortilla with very very little beans. Service is usually okay but with COVID, we have opted to order online and take to go so can't really rate the service - order online and drive through for pick up is super convenient. Normally they give chips and salsa if you eat in- they are homemade and addicting! I must be on a Mexican food kick because two days in a row, I had Mexican food for lunch. I arrived a bit before noon and there were a few patrons in the dining room and a couple of ahead of me in line to order. I ordered the mini chimi platter (the #4). It comes with rice and beans and a tiny salad/garnish, and a small drink. The total was about $13, which is on the pricey side in my opinion for this type of food. Of course, you get chips and salsa included. I am a total fan of Some Burros. I love their food and especially their chips. I think I even crave them. My food came out pretty quickly and I attached the chimis first. So good! There was sour cream and guac included which really adds to the flavor. I also love their rice and beans, but could not finish my meal --- believe me I tried! When I left, at about 12:30, there was a line and the dining room was filling up. I'm sure it was the work crowd so be prepared to wait a bit in line if you're eating in. They also have a drive through and I noticed a sign upon entry saying they now have an app. I might try that next time and order ahead. read more

Not sure how you can wrap an egg and cheese burrito like the pics below, clearly the cook knew it was burnt and didn't care. Then we ordered 2 other things that they made completely wrong and we ordered additional salsa and when we got home there was no salsa at all in the bags. It's a 10 minute drive and it was late at night so we called and complained and the lady on the phone literally acted like we were lying and she could have cared less about our experience. Ordered the chicken Tacos, they were a couple of warm tortillas and a bunch of dry chicken pieces. They looked like it was seasoned from the company that they bought if from. It's difficult to screw up a bean burrito and since that's what I got I can't really comment on the quality of food here. My buddy ordered the beef chili tostada, I think. Not your common cultural Mexican food at all... rice had ok taste they tried to make it spicy but no flavor and I think it had an olive in there too for some weird reason. Service was great my tamales were replaced for "regular ones" so I give the staff all the credit for my 4stars.. I've never been to a restaurant where you order tamales and have to say no sauce on them like enchiladas lol but yeah overall service is great and dine in is open. I've driven by this place dozens of times but never really been in the mood or checked it out. Our baseball team had a fundraiser and it was to support both our organization, the kids and the community. Besides, everyone loves some tacos chips and salsa. To my surprise they had beer wine and frozen margaritas available and had I written this review when I first walked in they would've gotten 5 stars. We ordered two kids plates (tacos, beans, rice, & drink) along with a Carne Asada Burrito and a Tostada Verde. Given that it was a funraiser night lots of people came out so I understood their being a little bit more of a wait. The wait in the ordering line was probably the hardest only because theirs so many options and everyone likes their tacos burritos with and without certain things so it took a lot longer. Food on the other hand came out pretty quick, but don't expect to get blown away by a presentation unless you really love the blue green and yellow plates. Overall the food was good but living in Arizona we all know so many different Mexican spots so we have other options. For the love of god, please fix your drive thru operations!!! My wife has been sitting in the drive thru at this location for more than an HOUR after placing an online order. This isn't the first time this has happened at this location either. Not only are orders often wrong, but the staff seem really disinterested in being at work as well. We want to support this local business with a great history and good food, but repeatedly having this really poor service is turning us off. You sit down to wait 30 minutes for your food to have to make 6 trips across the store because they keep the forks, spoons, drinks and napkins and pretty much whatever you need for a meal, across the entire room, i got charged for more than what I ordered and was given attitude by the cashier and the person who came to help the cashier, was never told sorry for the inconvenience even though being charged 15 dollars extra and just was told that a refund was in place. This chandler crew can't put together an order correctly. It must be god damn rocket science back in that kitchen. Or, their expo employee checking orders before they leave the kitchen is more blind and deaf than Hellen Keller. First time going there last week, drove all the way home to find I received beef chimis instead of chicken. Drove all the back to get a replacement. After my aggravated email I thankfully got a gift card. Now this week, went to use my gift card and would you guess what???? They f*cked it up again. Didn't receive my rice. Love this place! So clean and you get the food relatively quickly. We have come on Taco Tuesday and you can get tacos dorados for $2. They are quiet filling too. Also, make sure you sign up for their club because they have specials that they offer on random days. For example, the wife and I got their pollo fundido offer that they were having for their restaurant's birthday for only $6. It was as good as any of the sit down restaurant's we have been too. I love my Someburros! I have been coming here since they opened the Mill Ave., location! A few weeks back I placed a small order close to closing time. The person on the phone advised to try and come quickly as the store would be closing at 9:00 pm. I arrived a few minutes after 9 and it looked like things were closed up to my dismay. I called their number and the store manager Cesar Marquez answered advising the restaurant was now closed and they weren't sure I was able to make it after all. I then apologized and said I got there as quick as I could. Cesar then opened up the kitchen again and made my order fresh and free of charge for my efforts. We love the food and order every week but it's exhausting to have to always check our order because 9/10 it's wrong. My son likes the ground beef taco with no potato and we order online and it says no potato. We always get potato at this location. So after I do drive through pickup, I have to park and go inside and wait again while our other food gets cold. Today, I drove home and forgot to check and there's potato in it. Also, forgot my taco I ordered for myself. We love the food but it gets exhausting to always check and walk in to fix. Plus I hate seeing the food they waste by always making incorrect orders. Love someburros but it seems like the employees no longer care about customer service. Ordered a few different meals and ordered one with No guacamole because of severe allergies to it. It looks like they forgot to not put the guacamole on and as an after thought they put it on then took it off. Well when your allergic to it a little bit makes the meal unable to eat so that was a waste of a meal and had to go get something else for that person after getting home with the meal. Luckily we noticed it was on the food and it was not eaten ( scaped off) of the food and turned over on the plate. Horrible service. Rude. Messed up our carryout order. We drove 20 minutes one way to pick up food from Someburros. When we got there, I witnessed a customer simply ask for a piece of foil and a takeout bag. The wonderful help behind the counter proceeded to throw the items down at her and walk away without saying a word. Upon arriving home the food was cold, and we realized they forgot to pack our cheese crisp and bag of chips. When we returned to the restaurant (another 20-minute one way trip) the twenty-year-old so-called "manager" only offered to give us those items or take them off the bill, but just those 2 items. She offered no apology and showed no concern whatsoever. Overall a very disappointing experience. If their staff isn't willing to be helpful and appreciate their customers, then it's time for them to clean house and hire some new staff. read more

Just so you know, I did have a free burrito coupon for Someburros, but regardless, I was pleasantly surprised by how good their food was! For a little take out joint, the food was awesome. Their red chilli and bean burrito was amazingly flavorful. They have really good chips and salsa.... Even my friend's enchiladas were good. Usually visit Someburros when I'm in the Phoenix area. Pretty solid chimichanga for a quick service place but if you want rice and beans it's extra. Really good red and green sauces. Breakfast cheese enchiladas with green sauce and over medium eggs on top is killer. Service is good but occasionally takes a little while to get your food. Decent chips and hot sauce to munch on while you wait. For the Phoenix area it's pretty typical decent food but compared to the blandness of Tex-Mex in north Texas where I live, it's pretty incredible in comparison. read more
