Sam Pullen was the yoga instructor and the stand up comedian was Stephen Campbell. We enjoyed his authentic story telling and comedy while also doing chair yoga followed by a sound bath. Although I was a member of Flow Yoga at some point after it took over Yoga Yoga, you don't have to be a member to attend this event. The energy and relaxation was just what I needed after a long overseas trip. I look forward to checking out their future events!

I'm a big spa FANATIC and love exploring new places. PRIOR to booking, I called Kuya to confirm the tours that were supposed to come with a free day pass of sauna and cold plunges to try. The front desk gentleman on the phone CONFIRMED the complimentary day passes with tour and so we went. I mentioned we're from Houston and may want to come up every month since some work is around here in Austin. After tour, the agent Jordan asked if we were from Houston for clarity and told us about the packages they offered. She stated there was no day passes and needed to pay $35 pp to use sauna and plunge, instead of $65 pp. I told her that I called earlier today and she stated "no. Maybe a year ago, we offered it but not now" I felt like they told me anything to come by and then try to sell us up. Not a place I'd want to spend money on if they were to lie to clients just to have them come from afar.

I felt the curriculum was structured to give me the best opportunity to be a well-rounded massage therapist. The education here enabled me to pass the MBLEx national licensing examination on the first try and I am now in process to obtain my Texas license. The clinic may be the best part of the experience, giving exposure to a variety of real-world clients and scenarios. The clinic director has a wealth of knowledge and skills and is a tremendous resource for students. The 60 minute massages on offer to the public for only $55 is the biggest bargain in Austin! If you're considering a career in massage therapy, this is the best place to go in Texas. Highly recommended.

It is a no-frills experience, but I've never had a bad massage here. I've had a few that were not amazing, but the great ones outweigh the mediocre. And with prices like this, I can come once a month! The massages happen in one big room with each massage bed, separated by hospital curtains. So you are near other people getting massaged, but you don't see them during the process and they don't see you. Times can be limited, depending on how many students are at this phase of their schooling. So please do give this a try but don't tell too many people or I won't be able to get my monthly massage in :)

I zenned out in the sauna for 30 minutes, rinsed off in the vitamin C shower, and reset my nervous system with 3 minutes in the cold plunge. I repeated this 2 times since I had the suite for 60 minutes. I walked out feeling like a new man. Ended up getting an unlimited membership because you get the most benefits being consistent with contrast therapy. Their prices are the best I've seen in Austin, especially given they are all private suites. They have memberships, packages and drop in sessions. They also have sauna only suites and a cold plunge only suite which I may try booking when I'm in a hurry and need a shorter session. Loved this place. I'm not a morning person, but I knew with how stiff and in pain I'd been feeling the past week, I needed to go to yoga earlier in my day. This class was perfect! The instructor was so kind and warm. Cued each movement and was just such a soothing presence. The class was the perfect size...everyone had enough space to do the movements and not feel packed in. You could tell the class was made up of all stages of life, yoga abilities, and body types... definitely a loving and inclusive space. Bonus: they have a coffee shop inside their beautiful lobby area. And yes, I rewarded myself with a coffee after a great morning yoga session. They have other cute gifts for sale through the yoga studio and also some really cute swag for sale. This space was previously called Mantra Yoga Collective. From looking at their website... I believe it's still the same ownership, they just have changed their name to The Retreat.

No one to attend onsite, had to knock on door for some one to let us in. No cups even for water. Sauna did not work, quite a few lights not working..wt... Second time.., this time some one was there, walked us through, skimpy raggedy towels, lights not working in suana or restrooms, music system not working .....apparently that is a common theme from one of the customers.... Owners should be embarrassed running a business like this let alone Luxury....

No 'pods' where cold air seeps in which means you stay warm throughout the float. The gentleman who assisted me was knowledgeable and friendly walking me through all of the services offered at this location. They are also open pretty late, 9:30 I believe. If you're looking to try float therapy, highly recommend this location.

Through the exhausting cycles that many chronic conditions trend toward, acupuncture has made an incredible difference to my body's ability to function, but Kathy, as a practitioner, has made an impact in a way that no other medical professional has ever come close to.
