My wife was referred to Julie by a friend, and I cannot express how fantastic the experience was and the relief she brought throughout the pregnancy. Julie had several pre-baby sessions with us, providing valuable insight on the birthing process and what to expect. My wife and her also put a birth plan together and worked side by side during her labor to follow it as much as possible. During my wife's labor, Julie was very nurturing and continuously ensured my wife remained calm and relaxed as possible. I love SoCal Water Babies, and especially Cathryn…read more My older daughter (now 5) did 2 summers of private lessons and 1 group lesson. At 2, my daughter could swim across the pool by herself outside of lessons. Before lessons, my daughter would freak out anytime water touched her face, after just a few lessons with Cathryn, my daughter was literally dunking her head in the bath, and is the biggest water lover now! This summer I took my 1 year old to survival float lessons with Cathryn. The first 2 weeks, my daughter absolutely hated them. Screaming, crying, but floating entirely on her own already. By the end of week 4, my daughter was laughing and lunging herself into the pool. And she absolutely loved Cathryn, cuddling into her every chance she got. Cathryn is so positive and tough in the best way. Both of my daughters absolutely love her. I look forward to taking my youngest back next summer for swim float swim! I genuinely cannot recommend SoCal Water Babies enough. Good swim lessons are SO important, and I have serious faith in her technique. The relief I feel knowing both of my kids have strong survival instincts around water now is great. 10000/10 recommend.
