She didn't just support me--she supported our entire family. She encouraged us every step of the way, believed in us even when we doubted ourselves, and gave us the confidence to keep going. Thanks to her expertise, my baby quickly transitioned from pumping and nipple shields to exclusively breastfeeding--no shield needed. She was always readily available whenever we had questions or needed reassurance. Her knowledge in all areas of lactation and infant feeding was exceptional, and she always took the time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand. Beyond her expertise, she is incredibly compassionate, patient, and genuinely invested in the success of the families she works with. When it came time for me to return to work, she made that transition feel seamless by helping us create a plan that allowed us to continue our breastfeeding journey with confidence. We truly could not have done this without her. She has made a lasting impact on our family, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and compassionate lactation specialist. She is simply amazing!

That's when I reached out to Linda, and I'm so grateful I did. She took the time to thoroughly assess our baby and quickly identified a lip, tongue, and cheek tie--something we hadn't realized. Linda clearly explained what was going on and guided us through every step, connecting us with a wonderful pediatric dentist for the procedure and an excellent physical therapist for follow-up support. Thanks to Linda's expert advice, encouragement, and reassurance, I was able to continue breastfeeding successfully. I'm proud to say I exclusively breastfed for a full year, and now begins the emotional journey of weaning. I truly could not have done it without her. I will absolutely reach out to her again when the time comes for future children, and I recommend her wholeheartedly to family and friends. She was an essential part of our journey.

More than anything, it gave me a community of amazing women, friendships that I know will last a lifetime, and a safe space to talk openly about everything postpartum, the beautiful moments, and the not so beautiful ones, and everything in between. I'm so grateful I took the chance and joined NMS. It truly made this postpartum experience feel less overwhelming and a lot less lonely. I'll forever cherish the friendships and memories I made here. As a first-time mom, I learned so much and truly feel like this class helped me survive the newborn stage. Every week, I looked forward to attending. It was such a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and sharing experiences. One of the best parts was meeting other new moms who have become friends and part of my support system. Manager Megan and instructor Daleena are absolutely amazing. They make everyone feel welcome from day one and are incredibly knowledgeable. Their guidance, encouragement, and expertise gave me so much confidence as a new mom. If you're expecting or have a newborn, I 100% recommend Rancho New Moms School. The information, support, and friendships are invaluable. I loved it so much that I've already signed up for the next session, the Infant Sessions, and can't wait to continue learning and growing alongside my baby!

The warmth and kindness of the doulas and staff made us feel safe and cared for. We were able to meet our doula Joanna, and then met with her several times before labor and delivery. She helped answer questions, ease worries, and support decision making every step of the way. So thankful to have her with me there at the hospital through my very long labor, helping keep me (and my family) calm and advocating for me. Once our little girl arrived, Joanna continued to check in, coming to our home to insure breastfeeding was going well. After recovering I was able to start attending the moms' group hosted by Elizabeth. She has been there each week to answer questions, ease worries, and facilitate new friendships with other moms, all while letting our little ones interact, learn, and grow. An absolutely wonderful organization that has made my journey into motherhood empowered. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so very much!

I checked out their Facebook page, website and Yelp reviews. I could not have any more positive things to say about Joanna, Elie and the organization. Elie teaches Yoga at 5:30 every Tuesday. Classes are $12 or $10 if you prepay four classes through PayPal. I use PayPal because it makes things so much more convenient. You have to take your own mat but occasionally they will have 1-2 loaner mats but nothing beats taking your own mat. My fiance and I also took the Informed Childbirth classes with Joanna on Wednesday evening. The class really is what it is, Informed Childbirth. The baby books can only teach you so much but being in class with other expectant couples and Joanna who is a certified doula really has enlightened the child birth process and options that I will have at the hospital when my little guy decides to make his big arrival. I joined prenatal yoga in hopes to meet other expectant moms in the area and get to know some new friends. I have met some pretty awesome people and look forward in continuing to see About Familes grow. You really need to check this place out if you are a family or mother to be in the Coachella Valley.

During my pregnancy, I had the opportunity to meet Alicia, and I immediately felt a familiar, grounding ease from her presence. Throughout my labor and birth, Alicia was everything I needed--empathetic and tender, yet knowledgeable, sturdy, and clear. She went above and beyond to support me through the natural highs and inevitable lows that come with the birthing process. Her steady, attentive care made me feel safe, seen, and empowered during such an intimate and transformative time. Alicia's detailed and thoughtful approach continued into my postpartum home visits, where her attention to both me and my baby's well-being was truly unmatched. She held space for me with such care and compassion, offering exactly what I needed during those early weeks of recovery and adjustment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have received care from three incredible midwives - Johanna - Julie and Alicia- throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. Alicia holds a special place in our hearts for providing exactly the kind of support, care, and connection that made our experience unforgettable. I'd never had a home birth before though this wasn't my first baby. They took safety measures that made me feel comfortable during such a stressful time period being pregnant during a pandemic. Many times when I arrived for my appointment they were sanitizing and always wearing their masks. They even allowed me to do appointments by zoom and drive to the parking lot of their office to do vitals in my car! This allowed me to bring the kiddos while keeping contact and exposure to a minimum. They were always available if any concerns took place or I had questions. This not being my first baby, he came very quickly and because they had prepared us so well, I still was able to follow my birth plan. I felt completely supported with everything I wanted and enjoyed visiting with them every appointment.

She is very knowledgeable and reassuring (which I really appreciate as a first time parent!), has excellent communication skills, and is willing to help in any way she can. Every time she comes over she meets us where we are at that day. Sometimes we have a big project that needs doing and she helps us tackle it. If we don't have a lot of specific things to get done, she intuitively finds a way to match what we need that day. In terms of both emotional support and the physical hard work that it takes to care for a newborn, she is always there for us. Thank you Moon Sister!

Monica did not disappoint. She was amazing and she lessened my postpartum anxiety and helped eased my family's transition from a family of three to a family of four. Monica has a warm and professional approach. During the in-home meeting, she listened carefully to mine and my partner's concerns and worked with us on the hours and days we wanted her to provide postpartum doula services. When she was working with us, she would anticipate what we needed or wanted - such as helping with picking up, sweeping, dishes, and taking out the trash - without us asking. Primarily, I needed assistance with my older child (2yrs old), such as watching her so I can get some sleep, take a shower, or just have a break. She was amazing at both watching my child and helping out around the house. Monica also provided some knowledge on diastasis recti, different holds for the baby when she has gas, and how to wear baby carriers/wraps. At the end of each session, she checked in with me about whether all mine and my family's needs were met and how she could better assist us for the next session. She listened carefully and came prepared for the next session. Both me and my family looked forward to each session because she made the post-partum period easier and less frustrating. I recommend Moon Sister Doula to my friends that are pregnant or trying to get pregnant.

Kristin has such a grounding and inviting vibe and energy that felt comforting and supportive right from the start. You know how some providers/professionals will say they're supportive of your choices but you can tell they are actually judging you? Kristin is the complete opposite! She was down for and excited about any decision that I felt was right for me, my baby, and our birth - which didn't just communicate support but also made me feel empowered and centered in my own choices. My fiancé was pretty skeptical about hiring a doula - his family and friends had all had kids and no one had "needed" a doula - but he ended up SO thankful and grateful that Kristin was by our side. He can't stop singing her praises to anyone who will listen! Kristin was/is so knowledgeable and informative. Anytime there was a turn in the road, we immediately looked to her. She would provide some small education and then give her perspective, ultimately reassuring us that we were in control of what decision we ended up making and what felt most right for us and our birth. She stayed by our side the whole time - I truly don't know what we would have done without her! She took some photos, kept track of timelines, and helped make sure baby latched for the first time. Even postpartum she has been such a life saver. We're able to text her our freak out questions and she responds with the same attentiveness and care as she did before and during birth. She also did my placenta encapsulation and supports us with our lactation questions and needs. Can't recommend her enough

She advocated for me with the medical team and made me feel safe, heard, and deeply cared for as a first-time mom.
