I was able to catch his employee Julio right before closing, which made me feel at ease. They diagnosed the issue on Monday morning and found a couple more things that the car needed. Mike was very responsive, as I had to do a bit of back-and-forth with him due to my work schedule. He was able to work with me and offered me a good deal on the stuff that needed to be done. I picked up the car today, and everything looks good. Julio was the mechanic assigned, and he did a great job. The car is in good shape. I reached out to them because my Mini Cooper wasn't passing the smog check. After running the diagnostic test, they were quickly able to troubleshoot and provide pricing for parts. Within a day, they were able to fix my car and get it to stop showing 3 fault codes. After putting some miles into the car, Mike suggested that I come back in to run a complimentary meter check to see if any codes are detected and thankfully nothing showed. They showed me the parts they switched out and explained what the problems were. Mike also notified me what to keep an eye out for based on his assessment with his inspection of other parts of my car. What I appreciate about their service is their responsiveness to my initial inquiry, communication throughout the entire process, and honesty. The first time, they replaced a spark plug, costing me about $200. Two weeks later, the light returned. This time a $687 repair for a completely different issue. Less than two weeks after that, the light came on again. On my third visit, even though their posted opening time is 9 a.m., the technician, Randy, didn't actually show up until after 9:08. He was rude, didn't greet me, and dismissed my concerns instead of offering any apology or empathy. He handed me a paper with another new code and quoted labor costs of $160, with no parts even required. Despite their supposed warranty, I've had to return repeatedly. Each time, a new code, a new cost, and dismissive treatment. Randy even remarked that my car is old and implied I should expect ongoing issues. Yet this doesn't excuse poor service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I can't recommend this shop to anyone looking for accountability or respect.
