They are a trusted auto services and mechanics shop. I've been using their services for more than 15 years. From my experience, they are very knowledgeable attending to many cars during the years for my Mercedes, Porsche, Lexus, and Hyundai GT. The quality and value is excellent! read more

They are good fixing cars, but unfortunately they way overcharge for their services. Advice get an estimate in writing before leaving your vehicle. I figured it out they charge over $300 per hour. read more

My wife has a BMW she has been taking her car for service at Ontario BMW! They have been ripping her off with the high Labor Costs I guess someone needs to pay for the refreshments in the lobby anywho there services suck never return your calls and try getting a service rep- good luck. I found Star Tech Foreign thru AAA my wife was being charged over $3k to replace a motor mound. I was able to ChatGPT the diagnoses and get an estimate of what the labor/part charge should be. That is exactly how you run a business! I was dealing with a frustrating issue on my 2021 BMW X7--the brake pad sensor kept going off after another shop replaced the pads and sensor, and they couldn't figure out how to reset it. I called Star Tech Foreign Auto Repair, and they simply told me to bring it in. They took a look and had it fixed within minutes. The best part? They did it completely free of charge. I am definitely going back to them for any future issues with my vehicles. Highly recommend! read more

I just want to say "thank you " for the excellent service I received. The service from the father and sons was far beyond my expectations. Thank you again and God bless you all for the great service you all offer. read more

Honest and Fair Mechanics!!! I completely trust Khaled and his father with all my car care needs! They have serviced my BMW, my Volvo and now my Lexus. I trust them over dealerships with my car needs. The last dealership installed my rear brake pads backwards! I will never go back to The dealership as they are experienced auto mechanics! read more

Pretty happy with the service. They used OEM parts and while they were closed during the weekend, worked pretty speedily on my car on Monday. I needed new spark plugs and brought it at 9am. They were done by 3pm that day. They seem to have done a good job and charged 30% of what the dealer would have (maybe). read more

Sam and Tareq are awesome. Honest estimates and excellent work on my Audi, Mercedes and Honda Accord.

My BMW suddenly showed a yellow check engine light, so I called Khaled at this repair shop. To my surprise, he told me I could bring the car in right away for an inspection. After I arrived, they performed a quick check, and within about 15 minutes, they had everything fixed. It turned out not to be a big issue, and they even cleared the error codes for me -- all free of charge! I'm truly grateful to Sam and Khaled for their help and excellent attitude. I highly recommend this place to all BMW owners! read more

I had a error code show up on my Audi A6 and called Star Tech. They took me in right away and helped me figure out my issue the same day within a couple hours. Great customer service, quick service and very friendly. I'd definitely recommend them for sure. read more

Beware!!! The mechanics take your car apart and don't put everything back the way it was brought in. My car has several screws missing, a couple of missing fender plastics missing and undercarriage pieces not clipped back on. I was driving home and could hear the plastic under my engine flapping. They also put one headlight lower than the other and not lined up with the hood. My grill was loose half clipped on. It's discouraging going to this place thinking you will get your car back with all the cosmetic pieces it had prior. After finding all of these issues, wait there is still more someone in the shop put a dent on my driver door even paint chipped off. Never coming here again, I do not recommend. read more

I have been looking for a new local mechanic and came across this shop, thanks to Yelp!. I called on a Tuesday for a quote for oil change and brake replacement (wasnt sure if all needed to be replaced or not). I brought my car in on Thursday. Honesty, Integrity, and Timely are a few words many businesses strive to build in their business model. Especially in the auto-repair business. I highly recommend Star Tech Foreign Auto Repair! Situation: Instead of going to the beach this morning, I noticed the "Service Engine Soon" light on after starting my car. After checking the reasons for this indicator and crawling under the car to see if any of the parts for the catalytic converters were stolen. Luckily the undercarriage covers were still intact. The 328i convertible is not my daily driver and has been sitting outside of the house for about 3 weeks. By coincidence, I looked up for the nearest BMW 3rd party mechanic in google maps to find "Star Tech Foreign Auto Repair." Driving there I expected to pay a fee to merely look at the car and a quote in the thousands to possibly repair or replace the catalytic converter, oxygen sensor, or whatever is needed for this system. Surprisingly, after 15 minutes from handing over my keys, the mechanic returned my car to tell me he had reset the oxygen sensor, instructed me to continue to drive the car, and if the "service engine soon" light indicator comes back on, drop it off at the shop overnight for a detailed analysis. That was it. I was on my way without any cost. Zippo, nada, squat, nothing! Took the car and drove on my way. You can't get better service than this! Honesty, Integrity, and Timely Service! Just noticed the acronym. It's a HIT! James S. read more

Called beforehand to ask about brining in my car to get diagnosed on a headlight issue, something they said they could definitely do. I brought it in only for the young guy at the front to tell me headlights are sold out (i didnt even say my car model yet to him) and he told me to just order the parts and do it myself (even though that would require removing the entire front bumper of my car). He basically just shoed me off and didnt even care to try and help me or ever take the car in to diagnose the problem. read more

Hate to be the one to write a bad review but I took my vehicle to Star Tech Foreign Auto Repair hoping to get great results but instead I received very rude customer service from Khaled father my vehicle needed an upper and lower oil pan replacement so I took it into the shop. My vehicle is lowered and they took the job on but once I got it back it still had an oil leak. I took it back because of warranty but then they started to blame me for my vehicle being so low that I must of hit the oil pan but my vehicle isn't leaking from my oil pan it has no cracks! I am a very careful driver when I am on the road. It was leaking from the silicone gaskets. They finally agreed to redo my silicone seal but not worth all the headaches and ropes I had to jump for them to agree to use my warranty, received my vehicle back so far so good don't see any oil leak let's hope it stays that way! I would not recommend going to the shop if you want to be greeted with rude customer service from the father he is the main reason I am so upset. read more

I have a Mercedes E class. I had a red battery light come on so I took my car to star tech foreign auto repair where I normally go for repairs. I usually deal with the Dad very polite, great man, honest but today I was dealing with the son Khalid . So I went in to get my battery checked one worker Sam took it to the back to go check it next thing I know Khaled comes up to the front tells me that I need a new battery and it's gonna be $400 so I say OK I'm gonna come back later and we can replace it, then as he goes to Get my car. He comes back and says my car 's not working. It's not turning on. I need a new alternator $1200 before even checking on how much parts are or how long it will take for labor. He just threw out the number $1200 so after that I stepped out I told him I'd let him know I'm going to me make some phone calls. I called around to three other places that work on Mercedes & foreign cars . Star Tech was by far the highest easily. The three other quotes were $ 895, $760 and $650 which is a big huge difference from the original price($1200) that Khalid told me. So I called back Star Tech and let him know that I found some other prices and that he was way higher than everyone else at that point he finally asked what year was your car? What was the make and model so he can look up the part price and then came back and told me that he could do it for $900 Which is still higher than everybody else's so after all that I took my car to another place, and he had the nerve to call the place that I took my car too and complained to them and told them that their taking his business I ended up saving $550 and my car is back to normal So I would watch out for this place on pricing once they give you a quote I would call around and do some research SCAMMER for sure read more

I had transmission oil change at other place for my Lexus ES300 and it caused oil leakage. I went back to the original auto repair shop, but the technician there didn't admit the problem. After reading the reviews here I decided to give a try at Star Tech Auto Repair. Sam, the owner, offered me free inspection within an hour on the transmission oil leakage and check engine light on issues, and quoted me reasonable price for the fix. The job is done in half day and I'm glad that I came to the right place today. Thank you Sam. read more

While I always get my car serviced here and they do a quick and phenomenal job, their price can be a little more than expected from other places. Samir is nice and is usually honest when I ask questions. My only downvote is Khalid. He's always rude when he talks and doesn't smile at all. Makes the experience feel like I don't want to engage with him. read more

A 1st-time customer at Star tech and I was so happy with my decision to bring the car here for a brake and transmission service. A little background, I have been always taking my cars to get the maintenance done at the dealership ONLY for at least 10+ years since I was cheated by many local shops back then and sometimes even got scammed by the mechanic working for that shop who told me to bring the car to his home for a cheaper price and surely, I was young and poor, I did what he told and got scammed. Surprisingly I didn't feel that way when I talked to Khaled (correct me if I got your name wrong). I walked in there and told him what I need then he told me the price upfront before I handed him a key and pick up the car the next day. Isn't this sound super simple? Somehow I truly trust this place just like when I take my car to the dealership. Didn't have a chance to talk to Sam this time but I'll say hi next time bringing the car in for brake and rotor replacement. Thank you! read more

We have had some great experiences dealing with Star Tech Foreign Auto Repair. I have had my Toyota truck and BMW both serviced here. One of the Toyota repairs was somewhat complicated, and they did a great job. The owner, Sam, is honest and will not nickel and dime you. The cost for each repair/service was reasonable and completed on time. We do not hesitate to go to Star Tech for our repairs. I highly recommend Star Tech for your foreign car service and repairs. read more

First, this place does quality work for a fair price. It's one of the only shops that will change oil on my Maserati. However, to get to a place of happiness, you need to deal with the grumpy elderly mgr/owner. Thankfully, I saw him "lite-up" a another potential customer or I would have thought I said something to upset this dreadful "customer service" representative. If you go here, talk with the kid (maybe he's McGrumps) but he's okay. read more

With a Range Rover just out of warranty and a Porsche approaching the end of its warranty, I was just tired of going to 2 different places for basic maintenance. The dealers are far from my house and keep your car all day. The only nice thing about going to the dealer is they wash your car lol. But seriously, I will choose the convenience of going to one place for help with our cars, that is much more local to me, and 50% the cost of the dealer. Anyway, we took both cars this week for scheduled maintenance and were happy with the service and plan on coming back. read more
