Do not come here if you are a woman, don't come by yourself. These guys will try to rip you off for all your money. I came here a few months ago, with my car I just got from a 3rd party. And my alignment was pretty jacked up (from my first initial thought just driving my car) I needed to get it fixed immediately, and this was the closest place I could find to me. I came here. After an hour I came back and they started to tell me everything wrong with my car, which is fine. That's the point of a diagnosis. Then the young guy looking at my car kept trying to sell me more and more things regarding my car. They quoted me about $5k+ for all these repairs, I left and contacted my grandpa, because he smelled BS regarding this company when I told them what they said about my car. He took me to a trusted and well respected auto mechanic shop in his city. They did a diagnosis of my car, said my car was great and only needed an alignment. I was sooooo confused! Because the guy at Big O's told me there was dozens of things wrong with my car. When I had talked to the mechanic who looked at my car, he laughed at said "Honey, they're a big corporation, their job is to try to get you pay thousands of dollars. Your car is perfectly fine. Nothing is bent and it was just an alignment issue, which is pretty normal for this type of year and model. They saw you were a woman, by yourself, and tried to rip you off." Sticking to my mechanic from now on, my car has been running BEAUTIFULLY since then and I will recommend them over BIG O TIRES. I came to this Big O Tires location in Chino to have a second set of wheels and tires installed on my 2023 RAV4. These are a set I own specifically for winter and heavy rain, and because we have a second home in Big Bear, swapping wheels seasonally is something we do regularly. When I called, I was told the wait would be three hours. When I arrived shortly after opening, the shop was empty and it was clear there was no workload that justified that timeframe. The employee who assisted me stated they couldn't do it due to "liability", but he was short, rude, and didn't even step outside to inspect the tires or confirm condition or fitment. The interaction came across as rude and dismissive rather than informative. For comparison, I then went to Firestone Auto Care. Their employee immediately walked outside with me, inspected the wheels, and explained their corporate liability policy, including a prior East Coast lawsuit involving used tires. Whether that case is the exact reason or not, the explanation was clear, professional, and respectful. In addition, he referred me to several other local tire shops that would most likely install my tires. Ultimately, I had the wheels swapped at a small local tire shop with no issues. The owner even mentioned that customers regularly change between winter and all-season sets, which aligns with what we do in Big Bear. I've also filed a complaint with Big O corporate and have not heard back. My wife has brought her vehicle here multiple times for new tires, but after this experience we will not be returning. Professional communication and customer service matter, and unfortunately this visit did not reflect that. read more

I am beyond enraged. Last Friday at 3:46 PM, I called Big O Tires to confirm they had availability to service my vehicle for a specific repair that I already had a quote for. I also asked how long the repair would take. The employee I spoke with confirmed they had availability and estimated the service would take about 2 to 2.5 hours. I told him that sounded great and that I would arrive within 30 minutes. I arrived at 4:00 PM and began checking in my vehicle. During check-in, the store manager suddenly increased my quote by $200, claiming the labor had originally been billed incorrectly. Keep in mind, I had this quote for over a year, and multiple employees had reviewed it several times without ever mentioning an error or price change. You would think someone would have caught that long ago if it were truly incorrect. I explained that I expected the original quoted price, and the manager responded with, "Let me work on it." At that point, I needed the repairs done anyway, so I proceeded. Toward the end of check-in, I was asked whether I would stay at the store or leave the premises. I said I would be leaving, and I was told I would receive a call when my vehicle was ready. Completely normal -- this is how it has worked every time for the past 5-6 years that my husband and I have serviced our vehicles there. I left with my disabled mother and my 6-month-old daughter. At 5:58 PM, I received one missed call from Big O Tires with no voicemail left. Unfortunately, I missed the call because I was caring for my daughter. I returned the call as soon as I could -- voicemail. I called again -- voicemail. At that point, I panicked and headed straight to the store. When I arrived around 6:15 PM, the store was locked, the lights were off, and the garage doors were closed. My car was still there, but I had no access to it, no car seat for my daughter, and no way to safely get her home. I called again and only reached the automated message system. I was stranded outside the store with my mother and infant daughter. I had to call my husband to leave work early to come pick us up, and because of this entire situation, he also had to miss work the following morning so we could return to the store to retrieve my vehicle. We then had to walk to the nearest store and wait there for over an hour. The next morning, we still had not received a single call from anyone at the store. We returned at 8:42 AM and found my vehicle parked on the side of the building. After finally retrieving my car and paying, we explained the entire situation to both store managers and expressed how unhappy and inconvenienced we were by the experience. The response? No real sympathy, excuses that "the closer was new," and barely any discount on the service. To make matters worse, after all of this, my car is now making a sound that it was NOT making before I brought it in for service. Needless to say, we will not be returning. It is incredibly disappointing considering my husband and I have trusted this location with our vehicles for the past 5-6 years. read more

I came in for an oil change. He took me in right away and they said it would be about 45 minutes and it was they showed me I needed a new air filter. I asked to see it and it was pretty bad and I asked them to replace it overall everything went very smoothly. Wow. They charge $40 per wheel/tire to swap out a set of wheels and tires that are already mounted and ready to go. However, they have a promo for tire rotation and balance for the cost of one tire/wheel swap fee. The associate agreed it would take longer to do a rotate and balance service than to swap out a set. Why not just charge me your rotate and balance rate and you don't have to do the balance? Wild. I take all of my cars there for maintenance. Can anyone suggest another place for general vehicle maintenance with reasonable rates? read more

They also observed the need to replac the rear brake disc pads and right/left control arms, and services were provided under warranty at no cost. I greatly appreciate their service. Right away gave us a total that we were happy with, took our info and we were on our way to wait for the replacement. I have been going to this shop for few years and the most part the service was fine. Recently, I had a terrible time dealing with a warranty on tires I purchased from them. The manager was wrong about the number of miles the warranty was for and he stated a 10,000 mile lower warranty than what was stated on the invoice. When he saw that the tires lasted 1/2 of the number of miles they were warranted for, he made several excuses so not to honor a written warranty. It was upsetting to be treated in this manner and not to get the service I felt I am entitled to according to what I consider is a written contract. This lack of courtesy and customer service and not honoring a written contract compel not to do business with this shop again. The after the purchase service and courtesy are the most important in any transaction and is the real value that businesses offer. For these reasons I will not do business with this shop and recommend that others be very careful if they choose to transact with this shop. read more

On Saturday night as we were about to head out for dinner, I noticed one tire flat. My usual business for flat repairs is closed on Sundays, so I was in a rush to get the tire repaired before the work week started. So I came to Bog O tires, which was open and down the street from my church. The customer service was great. They took care of the tire in the time that we were at church for service. My only complaint is the cost, which I thought was a little expensive. However that's probably just me being use to free flat repair at my usual spot. read more
