I arrived at 7:00 a.m., and the staff immediately started preparing my car for the repair.

I made an appt with Joseph the day before for an alignment & oil change for 08/26/26, between 10:30-11AM. However, my work schedule changed & I took the chance on 08/26/26, yesterday morning at 7:15AM (right when they opened) to see if I could get my service done earlier in the morning. When I arrived, I was met by Victor & did tell him of my schedule change situation & if I could get accommodated. He gladly said "sure", took my information & saw that I had made my service appointment. Now, he started to "up-sell" me with a brake fluid change, indicating the additional discounts he could provide if I get it together with my current order of oil change & alignment. This went for "looooong time", almost forcing me to take advantage of his offer. However, I said that I just recently had all my brakes done at a Walnut mechanic shop & that was included. He suddenly started to TALK DOWN about other shops & even Costco which is where I got my new tires. I respectfully said that I'll just proceed with my original service appointment & will just take an exercise walk around the area to wait for the car. He said, I'll get a call when ready. I came back after an hour & 45 min & observed that my car was still parked outside the front parking lot. Victor wasn't there & the other salesman said, my car will be serviced at 11AM & to come back. It's unfortunate, I've been a customer of this Big-O branch for 4 years with 4 cars in "My Garage" & to treat me like "garbage" just because I didn't agree to the aggressive "up sell" is very un-professional. The other salesman said see you at 11AM when I was leaving & I said..."never". Your aggressive up-sell strategy needs to stop & I'm reporting this to the BBB as well. read more

I am beyond enraged. Last Friday at 3:46 PM, I called Big O Tires to confirm they had availability to service my vehicle for a specific repair that I already had a quote for. I also asked how long the repair would take. The employee I spoke with confirmed they had availability and estimated the service would take about 2 to 2.5 hours. I told him that sounded great and that I would arrive within 30 minutes. I arrived at 4:00 PM and began checking in my vehicle. During check-in, the store manager suddenly increased my quote by $200, claiming the labor had originally been billed incorrectly. Keep in mind, I had this quote for over a year, and multiple employees had reviewed it several times without ever mentioning an error or price change. You would think someone would have caught that long ago if it were truly incorrect. I explained that I expected the original quoted price, and the manager responded with, "Let me work on it." At that point, I needed the repairs done anyway, so I proceeded. Toward the end of check-in, I was asked whether I would stay at the store or leave the premises. I said I would be leaving, and I was told I would receive a call when my vehicle was ready. Completely normal -- this is how it has worked every time for the past 5-6 years that my husband and I have serviced our vehicles there. I left with my disabled mother and my 6-month-old daughter. At 5:58 PM, I received one missed call from Big O Tires with no voicemail left. Unfortunately, I missed the call because I was caring for my daughter. I returned the call as soon as I could -- voicemail. I called again -- voicemail. At that point, I panicked and headed straight to the store. When I arrived around 6:15 PM, the store was locked, the lights were off, and the garage doors were closed. My car was still there, but I had no access to it, no car seat for my daughter, and no way to safely get her home. I called again and only reached the automated message system. I was stranded outside the store with my mother and infant daughter. I had to call my husband to leave work early to come pick us up, and because of this entire situation, he also had to miss work the following morning so we could return to the store to retrieve my vehicle. We then had to walk to the nearest store and wait there for over an hour. The next morning, we still had not received a single call from anyone at the store. We returned at 8:42 AM and found my vehicle parked on the side of the building. After finally retrieving my car and paying, we explained the entire situation to both store managers and expressed how unhappy and inconvenienced we were by the experience. The response? No real sympathy, excuses that "the closer was new," and barely any discount on the service. To make matters worse, after all of this, my car is now making a sound that it was NOT making before I brought it in for service. Needless to say, we will not be returning. It is incredibly disappointing considering my husband and I have trusted this location with our vehicles for the past 5-6 years. read more

Wow. They charge $40 per wheel/tire to swap out a set of wheels and tires that are already mounted and ready to go. However, they have a promo for tire rotation and balance for the cost of one tire/wheel swap fee. The associate agreed it would take longer to do a rotate and balance service than to swap out a set. Why not just charge me your rotate and balance rate and you don't have to do the balance? Wild. I take all of my cars there for maintenance. Can anyone suggest another place for general vehicle maintenance with reasonable rates? read more

I came in for an oil change. He took me in right away and they said it would be about 45 minutes and it was they showed me I needed a new air filter. I asked to see it and it was pretty bad and I asked them to replace it overall everything went very smoothly. Super polite young man helped me his name started with an E I can't remember he'd only been there since February but he was very professional. read more

Do not come here if you are a woman, don't come by yourself. These guys will try to rip you off for all your money. I came here a few months ago, with my car I just got from a 3rd party. And my alignment was pretty jacked up (from my first initial thought just driving my car) I needed to get it fixed immediately, and this was the closest place I could find to me. I came here. After an hour I came back and they started to tell me everything wrong with my car, which is fine. That's the point of a diagnosis. Then the young guy looking at my car kept trying to sell me more and more things regarding my car. They quoted me about $5k+ for all these repairs, I left and contacted my grandpa, because he smelled BS regarding this company when I told them what they said about my car. He took me to a trusted and well respected auto mechanic shop in his city. They did a diagnosis of my car, said my car was great and only needed an alignment. I was sooooo confused! Because the guy at Big O's told me there was dozens of things wrong with my car. When I had talked to the mechanic who looked at my car, he laughed at said "Honey, they're a big corporation, their job is to try to get you pay thousands of dollars. Your car is perfectly fine. Nothing is bent and it was just an alignment issue, which is pretty normal for this type of year and model. They saw you were a woman, by yourself, and tried to rip you off." Sticking to my mechanic from now on, my car has been running BEAUTIFULLY since then and I will recommend them over BIG O TIRES. I came to this Big O Tires location in Chino to have a second set of wheels and tires installed on my 2023 RAV4. These are a set I own specifically for winter and heavy rain, and because we have a second home in Big Bear, swapping wheels seasonally is something we do regularly. When I called, I was told the wait would be three hours. When I arrived shortly after opening, the shop was empty and it was clear there was no workload that justified that timeframe. The employee who assisted me stated they couldn't do it due to "liability", but he was short, rude, and didn't even step outside to inspect the tires or confirm condition or fitment. The interaction came across as rude and dismissive rather than informative. For comparison, I then went to Firestone Auto Care. Their employee immediately walked outside with me, inspected the wheels, and explained their corporate liability policy, including a prior East Coast lawsuit involving used tires. Whether that case is the exact reason or not, the explanation was clear, professional, and respectful. In addition, he referred me to several other local tire shops that would most likely install my tires. Ultimately, I had the wheels swapped at a small local tire shop with no issues. The owner even mentioned that customers regularly change between winter and all-season sets, which aligns with what we do in Big Bear. I've also filed a complaint with Big O corporate and have not heard back. My wife has brought her vehicle here multiple times for new tires, but after this experience we will not be returning. Professional communication and customer service matter, and unfortunately this visit did not reflect that. read more

So I came here a couple months back to purchase brand new tires for my Bmwx5 upon arriving I was greeted right away and helped by Joel he took care of me all the way through up until even today everytime I came in well this is my 3rd time coming last time they fixed a tired no charge that was a service they provided upon purchasing wheels and tires with them I walked out the first time 1900 cash for some pirelli run flats so some time passed and I came to fix my tire well that time they failed to put back my lock key for my tire back in my car and the other day I had to get new rotors and brakes for my car and let me tell you I had to come out an arm and leg for a mistake they made but I want to come here to thank them especially Joel they refunded the cost I had to come out for their mistake now that's what you call a1 customer service they didn't give me a hard time or anything was in and out within 20 minutes with my refund they have been nothing but good to me 10-10 service every single time I come and the cost of tires this was the best spot from Fontana , upland , Ontario called every tire shop and this spot beat every one of them ! Right away gave us a total that we were happy with, took our info and we were on our way to wait for the replacement. Before heading to this location, we called, gave them the vehicles information, and told them we would be there in 20mins, they said, the perfect, we will be waiting for you. Got there, Took about an hour to get them both replaced, paid and we were on our way. They have good prices, helpful staff, and fast professionals.
