I have been getting my carwash and oil service for my 5 cars in this place for the past 14yrs...the service and the staff members have always been very polite and friendly. However, I had a very unpleasant experience with this new person named John last week. I had my usual oil service and when I was paying I handed him my loyalty card and he told me that he wasn't going to stamp it because the carwash was free even though I paid for the upgrade. He was extremely rude and made me feel that I had to beg him for one lousy stamp....i have never been treated like that my Ruby or Liz or Mario or Salvador or any of your other team members. Im usually not one to write a negative review as my time is important to me. But this is much deserved and I hope it helps others. I decided to give them one more chance to make it right and so I went in for another scheduled oil change. They once again overfilled my engine with 2+ quarts more than the factory recommended fill marks on the oil dipstick. This is bad for the engine as it creates too much pressure on the seals of the engine. I drive to LA everyday and this is a big deal. Im now sure they do it to majority of the cars they work on. This is the third time in a row that this has happened to me, and ive always had to go back and waste my time for them to do what they should have. But this last time on 9/15, I told them to drain the excess oil, and they still left it way above the factory fill level. Wow, they really dont know what they are doing, so I decided to fix the situation and drain the oil myself. One would think an oil shop named Performance Oil would be really keen on oil changes, but not here. They are also wasting company expense on all the extra oil they are overfilling. Check your oil levels if you have gone here. Im not coming back, they cant even spell the word PLATINUM on their car wash sign correctly. Basically a red flag there. read more

We have brought our 2018 Pathfinder SV and 2018 Honda Civic EX-T here a few times. We also like the free carwash. Customer service is so-so, there is a front guy that seems so blah and unfriendly. Despite that, we never had a problem before. But my most recent oil change is the last one. Just 5 days after getting an oil change in this place, I hear a scraping and rattling sound while driving. The belly pan of my 2018 Honda Civic was falling off!!! We took a look at it and they never put it back right! They are not even clipped on the panels and some screws are missing. Never coming back to this place! These people can't even do it right. Please see pictures of how they did it versus how it was supposed to be done. read more

Dropped our car off to get an oil change later in the day. The woman who took the information down stated we'd get a call when the car was ready. We figured they were running behind so Being we were expecting a call to pick the car up we went to run an errand. We get a call stating "your car is here we close at 5". We were told the car would get locked up at the shop overnight. We explained why we were not near by and how we were told we'd get a call. The manager called the woman who misled us who denied stating she said this. Manager gave us 15 minutes to arrive or else he'd close. We made it in the 15 minutes but the shop was closed. No apologies given, the manager didn't even wait the time he said he would to compensate for his employee who misled us. They simply didn't care. read more

I've had my oil changed here on both of my vehicles multiple times and the owner is very nice and personable and the service is very fast. Why is my review so low then? Because speed does not equal quality and when an employee willingly tries to cover up an obvious mistake they made by further damaging my car I need to report it and warn others. Here's the story: I came in for an oil change/car wash combo as usual and left satisfied with both. A few weeks later i started noticing oil spots on my driveway. I thought it might have been a rock or something else that might have scraped the bottom of my car while i was doing some riding in rough terrain so i didn't think much of it. It kept getting worst and try as i might to get under my car, i couldn't find the source of the leak. I tried jacks but still couldn't get to the source. Finally, i was able to take it to a shop that had a hydraulic lift where i could walk under the car and found to my horror that someone had put blue caulking all over the release bolt on the bottom of my oil pan to cover up the fact that they lost the sealing ring. In layman's terms: an employee from Performance Lube and Oil lost a crucial part to my vehicle and instead of informing me about the problem, decided to temporarily put glue on it to keep me from noticing long enough until sufficient time had passed so they couldn't be blamed. This is bad business and i don't recommend anyone go here. The owner is very nice, but i can't trust any of my vehicles with employees who practice shady business habits. Don't risk permanently damaging your car for a cheap oil/car wash combo.I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

I'm not one to leave bad reviews but the worker I spoke to (I believe his name was Ray) was extremely unprofessional. I simply asked if when they reinstalled the oil plug that they could make it to where it wasn't super tight so I'd be able to get it off myself the next time I changed the oil. I had tried to get it off myself before but it started stripping, hence why I brought it in to begin with. It was tightened way too tight from the last visit. In return he insulted me by saying I am just too weak to get it off and pointed to my arms. He then said if I don't know how to do it then don't do it at all. I have changed the oil in my car countless times, and this was the only time I had issue getting the plug off. It was way too tight and he just kept insulting me. Very rude and I will never be coming back! Whoever owns this place, this is not how you treat customers. Put your employees in check. read more

Asked what car wash I wanted because you do get one for free (you can also upgrade if you'd like) I declined. Then after I asked if he could check the brakes for me and he did and he was very honest.
