I'm disappointed to be writing this review because I had really hoped to recommend Shineforever909. I've known the owner personally for years--he went to school with my kids--and I wanted to support his business. Normally, I wash my own car and have never taken it to a car wash, but since he was coming out to do the interior of one my company vans (which he did a great job on) I decided to let him wash my vehicle for $70. After the first wash, I noticed the exterior didn't look great. I texted him the next day, and he told me his pressure washer had run out of gas, so he switched to a waterless wash. That was a red flag--he should have let me know about the change before completing the job, not after I had to reach out. He came back a week later to re-wash the car. It was better, but still just okay. Since I work from home, I had only driven to the gym that week and my car had stayed parked in my garage all weekend while I attended a Zoom seminar. The next day, I took a closer look and saw that all four rims were covered in black streaks. I brought the car to three different detail shops, and all of them told me the same thing: whatever wheel cleaner was used had been left on too long, causing etching in the finish. Each shop recommended a full recoat--an estimated $700 repair. When I reached out to Shineforever909, he denied responsibility and blamed it on overspray of some sort. That explanation doesn't hold up--overspray wouldn't affect all four rims while leaving no trace anywhere else on the car. At the end of the day, three independent professionals confirmed the same damage and cause. Shineforever909 has refused to take accountability. I also regret blindly giving him a $50 tip. Bottom line: use Shineforever909 at your own risk. read more

Mark did a great job with the general washing and vacuuming of my car.I didnt know how much dog hair was in my car and but he was super nice and didnt charge me extra for vacuuming, which was really kind of him! At first glance my car was super clean I didnt see any dog hair because he took a lot of time vacuuming it out! However when I got home I did an inspection and still saw some stain and dust residue and had to do another wipe down on the inside of my car which showed it was still quite dirty. If you are particular about the nooks and crannies of your car and emphasize the detailing of your car (which is me) this may may not be the service for you! I even referred you to someone else despite my own negative experience, only to later find out you trashed my name. I never wanted to give any of bussiness a bad review but this, unfortunately needs one. My sis had booked a Sunday appt for two cars (CRV and Trax) - for $200 each, see pricelist below. Mark arrived at 8am ish and insist to do both cars at the same time, we live in a townhouse so we have separate garage - hence we were unable to constantly keeping an eye on what he was doing, however, we expect all these would be taken care of, given the quotes. Not until 10am, he texted my sis stated all done -- we were so busy inspecting the car (we even tip $50 although I was unsure about whatever he did for two cars in a span of less than 2 hours), Both cars looking almost identical compare to prior his service but he was so in rush stating needed to go to Palmdale for another customer that I got no chance to have a proper inspection and got answers. Then not until he left abt 5 minutes, we barely realized his work -- it said there should be ceramic wash but the garage lot was completely dry, no trace of water or so (mind you it was Sunday morning, about 70 degree outside there was no way the water will magically evaporates somewhere that fast), dust still pilled up on top of both cars, and our license plate -- how I wish we remember to take the picture instead of tidying everything up since we so upset about the work he did. We were so dissapointed and angry that we spent almost 2 hours to re-wipe and re-clean the cars again. Once we opened the car, I have one missing mat, yet to be returned by today. The rest of my mat have whitish residue like I showed on the picture, he told us it will be an easy fix with wipes, but I should not even be the one who wipes them - if we payed $200 to get this done. The interior of both cars - had a lot of whitish oilish wipes mark here and there, possibly bcs of whatever cleaning solution he used. Don't even start with tires, they were not even shining, I assure you the walk-in car wash do better at polishing your tires then he did. Anti-fog was also miss-advertised as my windshield was still quite dewy Monday morning. I don't know about all the testimony who did their car with Mark, maybe we were just unlucky but definitely not going with his service again next time. He was a nice person, but not with a good work ethic unfortunately. Update: he was so upset about the reviews stating we had nothing to talk about (he was the one who initiate the text in the first place) -- if you are going to work by providing service, then give a good service (live up to whatever services that you promised) to begin with -- not to offer a re-do for free. The re-do will not be necessary if everything were done right in the first place. Update: and as of today, my mat has not been returned yet, and I am getting myself a new set due to the damage.
