After he'd already started and was about 25% through he suddenly wanted to change the price. We had exchanged 10 messages through Yelp and several texts so he knew what he was signing up for but then blamed the agreement price on his "girlfriend" who he claims was the actual person messaging through Yelp. Long story short he didn't finish the job and had a huge attitude about the whole thing. Very unprofessional. Left a really bad taste in my mouth and I can't recommend him in good conscience. At the end of it the IKEA Besta doors still don't even open/close like they should.

From the very first phone call, I knew this company was different. François was professional,…read morearticulate, and completely upfront about pricing--and even worked with me on the cost. I made several calls and even had another company try to undercut their price, but I'm truly glad I chose The Moving Genie. For just a few dollars more, placing value over price, the peace of mind was absolutely worth it. I hired them to move my belongings from one storage unit to another, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. I had tremendous anxiety about the move, but they immediately put me at ease. They arrived on time and I was impressed with the size of the truck they showed up with--so much so that others in the storage facility seemed impressed as well. They were able to complete the move in under three hours. The team was clean, polite, considerate, and professional. They handled my items with care, paid close attention to detail, and had all the appropriate equipment to facilitate the move. Zero stress. Zero issues. Just an excellent move from start to finish. I'm extremely satisfied with my experience and would confidently recommend The Moving Genie to others without hesitation. They're officially locked in my phone for any future moves.

He has integrity...which is so important when you are trusting your whole life (essentially) to a mover. I first used them a year ago - they did such a great job, when I recently had to move myself and my fiance from two townhomes he was my first and only call. His team all had a great attitude - which I commend - keeping spirits up in 90 degree heat while lugging furniture up and down flights of stairs is impressive. Although I was overwhelmed, the team had patience and made sure everything was in a place I wanted before they left. I highly recommend Casella and Sons!
