I chose a special of the day, the fish was tender and flavourful, melting off the bone and infused with lemon and capers. My partners dish of hake with risotto was absolutely delicious, something I'd order if I were to go back. All In all a lovely dining experience in a scenic location. The sausage was unique and good, little balls that complemented the oysters well. For a main, I had the mussels. Again cooked perfectly with no unopened mussels in a nice buttery broth. The skinny fries that came with it were also very nice. Probably the best thing for me was the oysters had no shell or grit while none of the mussels were closed, it amazes me how even in high end restaurants this often slips through and ruins the meal; kudos to Rick Stein's.
