Suddenly they changed their story to better defend themselves

I came in ready to pay for a new set with lash extensions from someone else the week prior (I was rough on them and had a lot of fall out) so they were pretty fresh but I wanted to be full again. They refused to fill my lashes even tho I was willing to pay for a new set. They were trying to force me to remove them before I could get the set. Horrible customer service. Do not come here Following up on my review -- in your original reply, you claimed my lashes were "stuck together." Now, in your latest comment, that's changed to "poor bonding" and "retention issues." That was never said to me during my appointment, only after the fact here in your public response. Changing the explanation after the fact makes it seem like you're altering the story to justify your decision.

I was a first-time customer at this location and wanted to leave an honest review for both the manager and other potential clients to be aware. I came in for a hybrid lash set and unfortunately, the application I received was extremely poor. One of the lash techs, who later introduced herself as Giselle, the supervisor, saw my lashes and kindly offered to fix them. She began removing some of the lashes by "sliding them off like a banana peel," as she described but the process was painful and it didn't make sense to me since they were glued on. I asked her to stop and requested a full removal instead and she proceeded to use a liquid remover that caused a strong burning sensation in my eyes. She left it on for 10 minutes before removing the lashes. The whole process was very uncomfortable and concerning. the lash tech who originally applied my lashes had only five months of experience. She never asked me any questions about how I wanted my lashes, what size or length I preferred and seemed unfamiliar with proper lash mapping and placement. The fans used were also too large and heavy for my natural lashes. Giselle later explained there was a language barrier between the lash tech and me, but I believe that should have been addressed before the service began. What should have been a beauty appointment turned into a painful and damaging experience for my eyes and natural lashes. I am thankful that the lashes were eventually removed, but no one should have to go through what I experienced. I strongly encourage others to ask about the experience level of the lash tech before booking and to ensure clear communication is established upfront. The mistake I made was choosing any lash tech when booking my appointment. Honest review. FOLLOW UP REVIEW: I am very disappointed by the unprofessional conduct I experienced after leaving an honest review. The business owner gave the lash technician my personal phone number and she then contacted me directly, asking me to remove my review because she was at risk of losing her job. This was completely inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable and pressured. If the manager is reading this, please know that any communication regarding job performance or employment status should go through the proper HR channels not through clients. Sharing a customer's personal information without consent is a serious violation of privacy and boundaries and it can lead to legal consequences, including potential workers compensation issues if an employee is put in a distressing or compromising position. This kind of behavior reflects poorly on the business as a whole. I hope management takes this seriously and puts the proper protocols in place moving forward. I'd like to respectfully clarify that I had every intention of paying for the service. I provided my credit card information prior to the appointment, as required. However I left the salon with no lashes at all after experiencing pain during the attempted fix and I was never asked to pay for anything upon leaving. My time was also wasted in the process. Unfortunately, due to the experience I had the lashes were removed and I left with nothing. I had no reason to go into a business with the intention of wasting my time or anyone else's. I chose not to reschedule or return for another lash appointment because of how everything unfolded. I also was not asked to pay for the removal. For the manager to suggest I came in with the intent not to pay is not only untrue it's disappointing. I received no completed service and while both my time and the lash tech's time were affected, this was simply a situation that didn't go well. I want to clarify that I did not just walk out. There was communication throughout the entire process. Giselle walked me to the front desk and at no point did she ask me for any payment for the removal of the lashes because in reality, I received no actual service. The lashes were removed because they were placed incorrectly and were causing pain. My time was wasted as well. I also want to make this very clear: if you're reading this please think twice before going to a business like this. The way this situation has been handled speaks volumes. Use wisdom and discernment. Like I said in the beginning, I left my review for someone like me someone who might unknowingly book with any lash tech, not realizing they may be assigned someone inexperienced. My intention was never to hurt the business, just to be honest and help others make informed decisions. I should not be retaliated against or falsely accused for sharing my experience. The fact that this business responded the way it did, with accusations and misrepresentation, only confirms my concerns. Their actions speak for themselves. This review was not written with malice or bad intentions it was an honest reflection of my experience so that others can make an informed decision.

Doing an update for my latest lashes & a 3 week lash fill! I haven't gotten a fill in ages because usually I can just do without them but I love getting them done for a special occasions. And honestly, she just does the best Lashes. And like they just come out so good and pictures, and like they don't look crazy either. We went for a D curl this time, and I really love her recommendation because they make my eyes look awake not like they look drowsy and heavy. I just love the look so much!

I got a natural cat eye set from this place for $70! That's such a steal in today's economy. My lash tech did such a great job and was so patient with my twitchy eyes and straight eye lashes haha. She said that if anything goes wrong within 72-hours to let them know and they can make adjustments and fix it. It's been 3 days for me and so far so good! I'm excited to see how they'll hold up after my trip! The place is really nice too. When you walk in, you're greeted by aromatherapy and calming music. It really set the tone for a self care day. I love this little thoughtful touch too, but it was so sweet to have a little tray of cough drops and tic tac at the check in!

Let me begin by saying that I would highly recommend Soleil Lash! The VERY first time I got my lashes done, about a month ago, I got it done at a different place. It took them 3 hours, but overall my lashes turned out great. I needed a refill of my lashes but didn't want to lie still for another 3 hours, so I tried Soleil Lash. Soleil Lash is tucked away next to a couple of stores, but the sign is easy to see. There is plenty of parking at the shopping center. The shop is clean and the bed is comfortable. My lash tech, Emma, removed my old lashes and put in new ones within an hour and 30. They turned out great! I got the hybrid, but it might be a little much for me for day to day. I'll have to try the natural set next time. Lastly, if you pay by cash, you get a discount! I'll be back for sure!

I came here a few months ago to get a Lash Lift and Tint and came out pretty traumatized to say the least. The service itself was alright, my Lash Tech was okay and the atmosphere was nice but the results were not good whatsoever. First off immediately after the service was done I opened my eyes and had a horrible burning sensation it was so incredibly bad. My eye was blood shot red and hurt to even keep it open. I literally had to sit in the parking lot for at least 20 minutes to gain the courage to drive home since I could barely keep my eye open. Second of all the Lash lift completely ruined my lashes. I naturally have very straight lashes that almost curl downwards so I was very excited to get the Lash Lift done so I wouldn't have to curl my lashes every day. Immediately after getting them done it was so obvious that one of my eyes was much more curled than the other. One of my eyes looked perfect and the other barely curled and the difference was very noticeable. But nonetheless, the first few days of the Lash Lift were okay. The results were pretty good they looked curled and held up really well but after like 2-3 days they completely went crazy. The ends of my lashes were beginning to curl inwards and the ends looked fried and damaged. My lashes went in all different directions and it was honestly terrible. I tried to brush them out and curl them to make them look decent but they were honestly awful. It took 3 months for them to go back to normal and even now they are much shorter and a bunch of my lashes fell out due to this. Not sure what went wrong with the Lash Lift as I followed all their aftercare instructions, they might have been over-processed. But anyways that was really traumatic for me as I originally had pretty long and full lashes and now I have to use Lash Serum to grow them back out. I will probably never get a Lash Lift or Tint ever again.

I travel a lot for work and so lash extensions really help me cut down on my maintenance and upkeep with my being gone all the time. I have always gotten by with doing them myself at home but wanted to see what it was like with an actual lash tech and I will NEVER be going back! I made an appointment with Emily who did such an amazing job, I cannot believe I was trying to do them myself this whole time!! I have been getting lash extensions for years and have never been so obsessed with a lash tech as I am Emily! She works quickly and efficiently and I have gotten so many compliments on how they turn out. I'm typically a super anxious person and lying there to get fills has always been very hard for me, but Emily goes the extra mile to make sure I'm comfortable and sometimes I even fall asleep!! I had two very unhappy experiences with lash extensions before finally finding Giselle. I did quite a bit of research before booking my 1st appointment with her and I am so glad that I did. She is so patient and kind. I believe her technique is a big part of why her lashes come out so much better. She applies the lashes with great precision, making sure every lash lines up with your own so that the outcome looks perfect every time. I did not see any glue clumps or have lashes falling out while driving home from my appt. like the last shop. Her lashes lasted me over 3 weeks the first time I had them done and they didn't even look bad when I went in for my fill. She is the greatest and I will never go to anyone else for lashes. She makes my lashes look absolutely beautiful without the plastic 'mascara' look that I find too harsh for my face. Thank you Giselle! read more

I have tried my hand with lash extensions a few times now and have never loved them enough to get them again. Right before going on a trip to Mexico recently I booked a last-minute appointment with Emily and could not be happier with how they turned out! My lashes stayed nice the entire time, even during snorkeling, ziplining, and other excursions in the dirt and heat. It made everything so much easier! Emily was so clean and careful and ensured that I was comfortable during my appointment. I will definitely be keeping this up from now on!!!! read more

I've tried false lashes and they take up so much time and usually do not look anywhere near as natural as lash extensions do! However, must beware of lash extension addiction!! This is not the first Sumi Lashes I've been to. But I love it so much I found this one, which is closer to where I moved to. I've tried other lash spots, but I always come back here. Go to Nikki! I want natural lashes and she will give you natural. I'm sad they got rid of clover lashes, which was a cheaper alternative to the ones I get now (sunflower design). It looked ok... maybe too natural. Why does it seem like my 2 tips would have been perfect but nobody gave me that?? Smh So its been exactly 7 days from the refill and i contact them bc on 5th day in 1 eye i notice like 3 lashes facing another direction so its making a noticeable gap. I asked how this can be fixed and they said it just a 1 week refill which is $55. Wow really? To look at 1 eye with maybe replacing 3-4lashes? Theres no flexibility here. After spending around $200 with tip in 1 month and not satisfied...I wasted my time and money. So i cancelled my next appt which was made prior and i wont be coming back. No need to tip well here bc you wont get the reflecting service that the shop management controls over the tech. I miss my original lash tech so much :( (she wasnt from here)

I was charged for removal, which I wasn't the greatest fan of. I asked Tammy for a classic nude, white ombré with a bit of glitter on top, and she delivered! This is probably the best set of ombré nails I've ever had done!!! I've had many nail techs say how ombré nails look better on longer nails, but Tammy made things work with the nail length I was comfortable with! I was a bit skeptical of the longevity since it wasn't the hard gel I'm used to, but this set legit lasted me over FOUR WEEKS (with the exception of one nail that had gel-ex on because of some previous nail damage)! If I were in the area more often, I'd go back to Buttercup in a heartbeat!!!! They are on the pricier side, but you'll be paying for quality IMO.

I recently visited this lash studio for a lash lift and tint, and unfortunately, I wasn't happy with the overall service. While the lash tech was skilled, the experience just didn't meet my expectations. I've had lash lifts before that turned out great, but this time, the results were disappointing. My lashes are naturally long, and I was looking forward to a nice curl and noticeable tint. Unfortunately, you can barely tell that they were tinted or lifted at all. They ended up looking smaller than before, which was really disappointing. I go to Amy for my lashes and she always does so well. I'm always happy with the results. I get a lot of compliments on my lashes, especially since I like to switch around my lash styles a lot. Amy just does her magic on my eyes . She's really gentle so with the combination of that and the music, I find myself almost falling asleep every-time.
