This restaurant is inside the Renaissance Hotel at the Westgate entertainment District. We decided to stay for a quick romantic getaway for the weekend and the best part is that the buffet for breakfast was included in our stay. I can't say if that is included in every package, however their romantic package that we chose it was definitely worth the price. We were greeted by a very friendly houses. Set down by a window with a great view and taking care of by a Friendlier server who directed us and gave us all the information we needed for the buffet as well as the several waffle and omelette stations. The atmosphere is very welcoming as well as very cozy. You don't feel as if you were in a crowded by Fais style restaurants. There's plenty of light from the windows on the side of the building. The buffet had everything you needed for a delicious breakfast. They had both options for vegetarians as well as meat eaters and I believe they also mention they had an option for vegan free and gluten-free. Several fruit chews options which I really appreciate it. My husband loved the omelette station and my homemade waffle station was perfectly delicious. It is absolutely a great amenities for when you don't want to leave the hotel and stay in the resort. We always have a schedule set for our romantic getaways. Sundays are usually for lounging by the pool and having breakfast in house or ordering room service. We will definitely be back to this great hotel in the center of Westgate and enjoy Our breakfast options within the resort.

All you can eat breakfast for $17? Sign me up! The food was fresh and delicious! They have an omelette bar which was absolutely phenomenal! We will be eating here every morning on our vacation.

My family has stayed at the Glendale Renaissance a few times and always enjoyed their restaurant for breakfast. We have always stuck with their breakfast buffet that is very good and has many food options to choose from. I am not sure of the exact price, as being a platinum member of Marriott does have the perk of getting two free breakfasts. If I am guessing, I think the price is around $12-14 a person and in my opinion it is worth it. The options are donuts, cheese blitzes, sausage, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, cereal, granola, a staffed waffle station with all the fixings, and a staffed omelet station with all the fixings. I know I a missing items here but you get the point. Each time here the omelets and waffles are very good. Overall, when it comes to hotel dining, this is a worthy spot to dine for breakfast.

Since the renovation it is now called Sage. The menu has changed and it used to be allergy friendly however it is no longer that way.

Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.

Probably not going back to Dick's…read more.. We were visiting both Phoenix and Scottsdale with friends and decided to meet up at Dick's Hideaway for dinner after hearing good things. There were six of us, and we were quoted a 45-minute wait, which seemed reasonable at first. However, their system for managing waits is honestly pretty frustrating. There are no reservations, no text notifications, and no call when your table is ready. You're basically left hovering and guessing. We did make it back in time for our table, but a simple "hey, your table's ready" system would go a long way in making guests feel valued. We were seated around 8 PM after waiting and taken to a large corner booth in the back. Unfortunately, there were still two people from the previous party lingering at the table even after they had paid and the rest of their group had already left. I understand finishing drinks, but it felt inconsiderate given how busy the restaurant was and how long people were waiting. After being seated, it took about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table, and even then, not everyone in our group was acknowledged right away. Things didn't improve much from there. It took over 30 minutes just to place our food order. From what we could tell, there was only one server handling the entire restaurant. I can definitely empathize with how difficult that must be, but at the same time, when we first arrived, she appeared to be standing near the entrance rather than actively managing tables, which added to the confusion. When the food finally came out, it was very staggered instead of arriving together. I ordered the Taos tenderloin with green beans and fries. The sides were actually great--probably the highlight of the meal--but the steak itself was disappointing. I ordered it medium, but it came out with an overly charred, almost burnt crust that completely overpowered the flavor. The whole dish really needed basic seasoning like salt and pepper to bring it together. The atmosphere also didn't do much to help the experience. It's extremely dark inside--so much so that it's hard to see your food--and the space feels cramped. The layout is also pretty strange and honestly a bit off-putting. There's what appears to be a kitchen area right behind the bar, and then a full kitchen in the back--but what really stood out was the lack of separation near the restroom area. There's no proper door between the kitchen and the bathroom space, and from a small step down off the dining area, you can basically see straight into the kitchen if you wanted to. It just didn't feel very private or well thought out. Another thing that stood out was the portion sizes. While some people might see that as a positive, they were honestly too large--especially for those of us traveling who couldn't take leftovers with us. Slightly smaller portions might not only reduce waste but also help the kitchen keep up with demand and improve overall service speed. Overall, this ended up being more of a one-time experience than a place we'd return to. Between the disorganized wait system, slow and inconsistent service, and underwhelming food, it just didn't live up to the expectations we had going in.
