Pamela is professional and has great bed side manner to make you feel comfortable during your session. I have done laser hair removal before and was not seeing the desired results and the pain level was high. I did research and found Solei uses a soprano machine that is more effective and virtual pain free (hence the increase in price compared to other laser services). Take it from someone who has done both, your laser experience will be so much better using this laser. I've only had two sessions and already notice a dramatic difference. Pamela needs a lesson in customer service. After posting my review, I got a couple of phone calls from her. I understand if someone wants to call and check up on their client, learn from their mistakes or clarify a situation. But this wasn't the case with her calls. She was very long winded and rude about justifying herself, her licensure and her services. I wasn't able to get a word in, so I hung up. She then called back and continued talking so I just muted the phone and let her do so. When she finally noticed there was no response on my end (which was over 5 minutes later,) she hung up and called back again. I did not pick up, so she proceeded to leave another long winded voicemail. Her level of unprofessionalism was borderline harassing to me. I have the right to form my own opinions and a right to post them so others will know in advance. At the very lease, I recommend scheduling an appt for a consultation so you can meet her and decide for yourself before purchasing a Groupon or any services. read more

While my first review was great, I was told I would be entering a drawing which I do not think ever happened since there were only 2 other reviews when I wrote it. Pamela is a great sales person and often leaves out details of many of her specials. I am writing this review after a year regarding the results of the laser treatments. I did buy the groupon and upon using it was told I would need additional treatments. i went ahead and purchased an additional 6 treatments (she recommended) and used my groupon ones as "touch ups". Please know that this is not permanent at all. Immediately after 2 months of finishing my treatment I saw hair growth again. I paid well over $600 to still have to shave. Of course, if you go and see her every month the hair growth will slow down, but it will NEVER stop. However, since my treatments were done I am now still seeing hair and will probably go to a real laser hair removal place. Overall, for the amount I paid, I was very disappointed in the results. The laser hair removal spot in this place is TERRIBLE!!! They have a groupon sale going on for small areas on the body. I booked my reservation with someone over the phone. On the day of my appointment after following protocol to make sure I wasn't sick, and waiting 15 extra minutes after my appointment was scheduled, I was told that they do not treat small areas on the face due to covid. Never once was I told this over the phone even after I booked an appointment for upper lip. Super unprofessional and inconsiderate of the 40 minute drive I had to make. I want a refund!!! read more

Purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal on a small area. When I called to make an appt I was told I would need to upgrade my groupon to the medium area and to call back once I had done so. I'm thinking here goes the BS. I followed her instructions & called back to make my appt. She scheduled me and advised me to shave the night before. Once I arrived at my appt, She immediately asked if I am taking any medications & I advised of 1 medication, (which is not an antibiotic) she then did my "consultation" which consisted of her looking at me and in 5 seconds of looking at me determined that because I have marks from prior ingrown hair she's not able to treat me. Confused I inquired on why, as I thought the point of laser hair removal was to treat problem areas so you no longer have to shave as much or at all. She ultimately discouraged me & told me it was "too late" to perform laser hair removal on me because of the marks from shaving & that my medication also disqualifies me. She even stated that no one will be able to treat me. All of this within 3 minutes & I was out the door. I called another spa "Laser Away in Dallas at Park Lane." and explained what happened. They advised that they've never heard of not being able to be treat someone due to marks from shaving. They offered me a groupon they had, invited me for a same day consultation and performed my 1st laser hair removal the same day. They also gave me options on another service they have to lighten the marks that I have from prior shaving. They also told me the type of medication I am taking is not harmful to the treatment because it's not an antibiotic. Total time appt time 45 minutes. I wrote this long post to say that I felt like Solei medspa simply didn't want to treat me. Wasted my time purchasing a groupon, upgrading to another & driving all the way there only to be declined service in 5 minutes of entering the spa. I've recently used this place due to a Groupon deal. The lady was very nice, no concerns with her customer service. Also, as the others have commented, the laser is near painless. My concern was her shop and the results. Her shop - it's a small room in the back of a hair salon. For the table you lay on, it has a fleece-like blanket on it and a cloth pillow. The 3 times I went, this was never changed out from the previous customer. The pillow was still sweaty and the blanket, well I'm not sure but overall, gross. Results - I've had laser hair removal before so this was more of a touch up of 3 sessions for my underarms. Well my last appointment was early July and the hair is still growing back full force vs it was nearly non-existent with my treatment a few years ago. Overall, I'm disappointed in the results and I would not go back due to the lack of cleanliness of the shop/room. read more

At Solei they have the latest machine, it's Painless, quick and more effective . I was able to see the results after one treatment. Not willing to work with your schedule. If you can't make it for a laser hair removal appointment in the recommended four weeks for whatever valid reason and giving them enough notice long before the 24 hour you will still lose that session or sessions and so your Groupon or laser sessions already paid for will be invalid. I did follow cancellation policy. I simply needed to schedule my appointment in six weeks not four because it worked with my work schedule and the days l was off. Tech was not considerate, understanding, willing and very nice about it. Been to many other laser centers where they will freeze your account if you need to to take a break for the summer when you will be out in the sun a lot or they will reschedule your appointment if you just can't make it in exactly four weeks for your next laser hair removal. read more

I tried solei about a year ago for 6 sessions of full face hair removal. I'm a light skinned Hispanic with dark hair. Everytime I left I felt that she had spent more time on my left cheek than my right but I ignored it. Now a year later I have a really beautiful hairless left cheek and some really course hair on my right cheek close to my jawline. I feel like if she had spent the same amount of time on both cheeks I wouldn't have this issue. I'm having to shave that small area just about everyday. I'm barely writing now because I decided to take my business elsewhere this year and finally get this patch removed. First off, I've had laser done before and it hurt soooo bad. I'm super white with dark hair (perfect candidate) but I would leave with any area I did so red and so swollen for at least 2 days. Would definitely NOT recommend. I should've known from the very 1st visit not to continue treatment. I bought a Groupon for $52 for a 3 visit package for under arm laser. Pamela (the technician) explained that in order to see results I need 6 total visits BUT you can't purchase a Groupon twice so you have to pay full price (over $300) for the remaining 3 visits and that price was supposedly a discounted price that was only good that day so if I didn't purchase it it would've been more. This was after my 1st laser treatment was done and I no longer had the option to return or exchange my Groupon so I felt kind of stuck and played to be honest. I did a couple of treatments and then COVID happened so a couple were delayed, which I completely understood due to the circumstances. Pamela plays nice and friendly at first but everytime I called and spoke to her, she just had this attitude and trying to rush me off of the phone, just very frustrating and unprofessional. After 4 treatments she told me I was done and after looking back at my visits, I realized I had 2. I called to explain this and of course, I get the attitude again. She's insistent that I have none left and again trying to rush me off of the phone. Well then she says that my file was "mixed up" with someone else's. After 5 or 6 phone calls she finally finds my file, payment and agrees I have 2 left. I really felt like she was trying to get me for those 2 appts! I had scheduled an appt and unfortunately I missed it, which was my bad, she calls to remind me and I apologize and try to reschedule. She says ok but now you have 1 left bc you missed this one. Never in my life have I lost an appt for something that I paid for like this. I never missed an appt or was late. I rarely am to any appt. I understand a fee but to completely say that I lost that visit bc I didn't show is ridiculous. Then she blames it on COVID. Ha, ok. Supposedly its in the paperwork that I signed but she refuses to send it to me. She wants me to go to the office to look at it....but what about COVID right??? ....so I will gladly just take a loss on the last 2 visits I have bc I refuse to have to deal with her again. I'm over it. I told her that I would be writing a review of my experience to make people aware of what they are getting into, she said that's fine but we're just going to respond and dispute. So wait for it...lol.Save yourself the headache and MONEY and go somewhere else. Bc of the cost, service and mediocre results at Solei, I went to SKIN MED SPA & LASER and paid LESS for 6 visits for Brazilian laser!
