Mold and Rats. This…read moreplace is dirty. There are rat traps throughout the place. I stored my things for a couple of years and came back to find mold on my things and dead bugs, and live bugs. Also, owner advertises as "climate controlled" but it is not. It is street temperature, extremely hot and humid, thus bugs and mold. Also, mold coming up through the concrete floor which is street level. Had to most of my belongings, $20K sentimental things, heartbreaking for me and disgusted with how much money I paid to this shyster. Go and see the rat traps, water damaged floors, holes in ceiling, for yourself and smell the must an mold in the air.

Mobile Concepts is an amazing auto accessory installer with fantastic customer service! This local…read moreshop has been operating for over 20 years and is a staple of the community! I've seen it around since I was a kid and started coming to them for my installation and some general maintenance. The owner is great! Every time I go I leave with a smile. There's a friendliness I've found here that feels familiar of the yesteryears that you don't find in many establishments anymore. The owner knows my name, knows my car and the order and asks about things we spoke about previously; it feels like the shops I remember going to in my youth; real customer service by real people. You're not just a number or another job, you can really feel that he cares about you, your safety, and the quality of your install. My service has always been prompt and with quick turn around. Even if I had to walk in for an emergency (as I had once) Luis made time for me. He and his staff always make me, and the other patrons I've seen feel cared for and leaving with positive words, attitudes, and goodbyes. It's really a unique and great shop that can help with so many needs. It was not my expectation to make friends when I found and came here but to my utmost pleasant surprise I did. It's the kind of service you hope to find in a small town. Welcoming all, fair prices and turn around, and good work! If you need any of Mobile Concepts services, you'll be in the best of hands in the whole state! This is the shop to be modeled after! Stop on in and make your vehicle more comfortable with these high quality upgrades at nearly factory pricing. You can't find a better deal for the quality of work! Mobile concepts is GREAT!!! For the Amber Feather, they do NOT accept any clothes. The owner searches for clothes herself and…read moredoes not accept donations. I talked a little bit with her, and from what she said, the store is not for people who wear petite or small. It's for women who wear medium or large clothing. The fashion is for older women rather than younger women. The aesthetics of the clothing match bigger, flowery patterns like a table cloth. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are a teen or young adult, but it is for older women who wear mediums or larges. That being said, I would recommend 2nd Ave Thrift store in Union (very cheap and fashionable) or Anthem off North Union Avenue (for fashion and in-style clothing) for those younger and smaller women looking to go thrifting.

I would really have loved to give a great review. I'm a big vintage/consignment shopper and I was…read morereally disappointed today. I went out of my way to Cranford to check out this store (in celebration of National Thrift Day-- today). I passsed by around 4:30-ish pm and there was a notice on the door saying the shopkeeper would be back at 5. The notice said: "Stepped out to Laundromat and Post Office. Return 5 pm." It doesn't make sense to me to go do laundry during business hours? Shouldn't errands like that be done during the lunch hour if anything? But it didn't bother me at first I just walked around and came back at 5. And waited. And waited. I waited 1 hour for the shopkeeper to come back (until 6pm) and still no sign of the person coming back. After a while it was kind of hot to wait outside and I felt really weird standing outside for so long so I stepped into a café and watched from the seat. By the time it was 6, I couldn't even check out the vintage shops in other neighboring towns I was hoping to. All in all a disappointing day. It was just kind of unprofessional and disrespectful of customers' time and energy. In total I came, spent 90 minutes, energy, gas, parking money, etc etc just to come see this one store and waited outside the store for a significant amount of time kind of looking like an idiot...not a great impression. I was really patient waiting an hour and a half and I just don't want other customers to go through that. To be clear stuff happens and so I don't take it personally but it was just unfortunate. If I'm in the area again I'd still love to still swing by and try giving it another go.
