Ordered: Regular Cheese Slice (~$3)…read more Aya's take: Perfect Pizza is definitely a hidden gem and I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for Dave Portnoy giving it an 8.5 on One Bite. As a born & raised New Yorker, I feel like I have high standards when it comes to pizza and this one did not disappoint. The Regular Cheese Slice had the right ratio of cheese to tomato sauce, the tomato sauce was mild and not too sweet or acidic which I appreciated, and the dough was perfect! The undercarriage was crispy with an even browning and I loved how thin the crust was. Check them out!

The pizza was so good that honestly, I wouldn't even be mad if I accidentally skipped trying pizza in New York. That's saying something when you're visiting the pizza capital! The bar attached was a nice touch, too. Great setup to grab a drink and enjoy some good pizza. The staff was super friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. Good pizza, good vibes, and great service.

And it was made exactly the way I ordered it - perfectly toasted bread, onions and peppers, American cheese, salt & pepper, and just the right amount of oil. TBH, what could be better than ending the weekend with a hot, juicy, cheesy Philly cheesesteak made exactly the way you want it? That first bite was pure happiness. 10 out of 10 Sunday night comfort food! Thank you WNY Pizza!!!

The pizza is decent but the chicken parm was disappointing. Thin cutlets of breaded chicken that was dry. I added the pasta for $5. The sauce lacks flavor but it is fine for basic pasta and gravy. It's not a sauce that is memorable. If you like a juicy chicken parmigiana this is not what you want to order here. I imagine the chicken Francese would be a better choice.

Good food, excellent service, and a comfortable neighborhood atmosphere…read more I started with the Eggplant Rollatini, and honestly, it stole the show. It was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and easily my favorite dish of the night. I would absolutely order it again. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which was cooked well. The breading stayed crispy, the cheese was balanced, and it was a satisfying meal. The sauce was good, although it wasn't my favorite part of the dish. Juliana provided wonderful service and surprised me with a complimentary tiramisu, which was a thoughtful touch. The tiramisu was good, but I've definitely had stronger versions elsewhere. There were a couple of small issues during my visit, a noticeable odor near the outdoor seating and a very loud child inside but neither reflected the quality of the food or service. One suggestion would be to replace chipped serving plates. Small presentation details make a difference. I'd definitely come back. It may not be the best Italian restaurant I've visited, but it's a solid neighborhood option, especially if you're nearby.

My wife & I were here to celebrate her birthday eve…read more We were in search of an Italian restaurant that offered BYOB service (no corkage fees) and surprisingly almost all of them around where we live in Englewood Cliffs and the neighboring towns were not! We were looking for a nice sit down & nothing crazy expensive. We were a little concerned about being overly dressed up for this spot until we got here and were so happy to enter into this quaint little restaurant, beautiful small town Italian charm, classic Italian music playing. We were comfortably seated while watching the FIFA games, doing plenty of people watching & experiencing first hand the vibrance of guttenberg downtown! Think mini NYC We ordered the Linguine Fruitti Di Mare pasta & the Tropical Pizza . Couldn't have been happier! The pasta was rightly spiced, rightly sauced, rightly textured while the pizza was light & airy, just right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings! They treated us to a free dessert & we went with the chocolate mousse (think a multi-layered layered cholate cake) which was beyond perfection! They brought us champagne flutes (not wine glasses), as we had a bottle of prosecco to celebrate the special occasion Service was better than white-glove!!! Staff refilled our flutes before we realized, brought warm bread to the table without us asking for it, didn't charge us for the dessert without us even remotely suggesting it! Warm, friendly, attentive, impeccable service and reasonably priced Definitely going to drop in here again!

I ordered the buffalo wings, garlic knots, a small cheese pizza with vodka sauce instead of marinara & mushrooms, and a cannoli. The wings were not Buffalo, they were a mix between Buffalo and bbq. If I had known, would not have ordered. Did not like the bbq sauce flavor. I also asked for ranch as I despise bleu cheese but alas, I did not get ranch and had to eat my wings plain. Garlic knots were perfect. The pizza tho. Ugh, it was so bad. They made a cheese mushroom pizza with way too much cheese and then put the vodka sauce on top after!!! Like a drunken grandma pie. That's not what I wanted. I asked for, "a cheese pizza with vodka sauce." It was so soggy that it soaked through the bottom of the box. Stayed soggy even after reheating in the oven. I ate half a slice and tossed the rest sadly. I won't be ordering from here again. The cannoli was fine but wouldn't order again either. The only thing I would eat again is the garlic knots. Very disappointing for Jersey pizza.
