Let me tell you one thing.. I love going to unique local places to try different things. When you walk up to this location you can see they put a lot of care and love into your experience when you go here. The owner spends his time talking to people and running orders out as fast as he can to make sure that he exceeds your expectation. We had a conversation where he explained that the business had only been open just over a year and I can see how much he appreciates his customers by the way he speaks to them and makes the things that they find important the same to him. Why we do not live in Greenville we will definitely frequent this location every time we are. He was so thankful and gracious with how he spoke to me even after the sale. This is an A+ place to go relax and enjoy a coffee and some awesome looking treats!

This is the spot if you like Italian espresso and fresh pastries!! I stopped in here to get some work done and I loved that they had tons of seating and free WiFi. The staff was super friendly helping with recommendations and checking on patrons throughout their visit. I was able to enjoy an iced latte with oat milk- they carry whole, almond, and oat, so there are tons of options.

Sole Espresso Bar is an absolute gem. The coffee was excellent, and the space itself feels refreshing and clean, with lots of small tables that make it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. What really sets this place apart, though, is the owner. His energy is warm and genuinely welcoming, and it's immediately apparent how much pride he takes in his shop and the experience he creates for guests. You can tell he truly wants this place to succeed, and I sincerely hope it does. This is the kind of local spot worth supporting and returning to again and again.

It's like being in a caffe in Italy. The service is super friendly. The owners are very hospitable. The pistachio latte is absolutely amazing. Croissants are excellent - I had the one with Nutella and loved it. What a gem!! Ciao my friends, well done!!

Pistachio latte was delicious. Service was warm and welcoming. Anytime we're in the area, we will definitely come back.

A real treat to find an authentic coffee shop. The guy is straight from Italy. The coffee strong and has a good flavor, I decided to try the pistachio cappuccino, so yummy.

Y'all. That would be my whole review if Yelp allow it. This place is killer and the first coffee shop that makes amazing drinks with fantastic service instead of having a cute aesthetic and average drinks which seems to be the norm. Trust me on this...breve cappuccino if you don't like sweet things or an iced pistachio latte with an extra shot if you do. The owners are awesome and it's a great, quality product. For a Greenville transplant with a taste for big city offerings this is a refreshing addition to the area. If you're near Haywood mall swing around back - it's just across from Basilico in the brand new mixed use property/apartments.

I'd give six stars if able. Brand new Italian coffee bar, about a week old. It's on the corner of District Midtown. Small location, but a great size for the atmosphere with outdoor seating options, very clean. The staff are extremely friendly. Everything is either from Italy or made how it would be made in Italy. This may now be my new favorite coffee bar in Greenville. Will 100% visit again.

Pistachio latte

Sooo delicious! The iced pistachio latte is yummy and croissants. Quiet place if you need to get some computer work done.

Trying different drink options at this most amazing new Italian Coffee shop in Greenville, SC. They have the best coffee, great for business meetings. Indoor and outdoor seating! Great location near Haywood Mall. Highly recommend going and try the wonderful variety! My husband liked it as well! Free parking. They also have a small selection of genuine Italian coffee, pasta...

The real deal.

Hubs had the meatballs (which the server said they only had two left...a friend nabbed the others) and other friends had the moules (mussels) frites and the braised short rib IIRC. The *.frites were the biggest hits. My filet was perfect, Sharon was raving about her mussels being the best she's had in ages. I had a bite of the meatballs, they were ok but people agreed there are better things on their menu. I love that the frites come with a choice of 3 out of about 10 different custom mayos (aiolis for the fancy-schmancy). I tried the curry, sriracha, and a fruity one I can't remember exactly what it was. I liked the fruity one the best and to my surprise, the curry the least (I usually love curry, but the balance was off). The sriracha mayo was too subtle for me, I slather sriracha mayo on my burgers regularly. I have no class. The frites were fresh cut and I enjoyed them but there were far more than I could eat on my plate, and sadly frites don't keep. They have my favorite super sweet Lindemann's framboise lambic on tap; I've only ever had it in bottles before, so that was a treat. My husband thinks I'm crazy to drink it because it is SO SWEET but I love it. So does Sharon, and clearly we're not alone or they wouldn't waste a tap on it :). It's beer for people who hate beer. (I resemble that remark. Maybe hate is a strong word. But in my 30s I realized I'd rather drink a soda than a beer, except for this one.) Desserts sounded good but we were too stuffed to order any. Next time I come, I may try the mussels, or I might just order that steak again.

It's in a basement that feels like a pleasant dungeon or a 1500's rogue tavern, you know, the kind in the movies where plots to overturn evil rulers are hatched. It is a unique vibe and after your meal, when emerging back onto the brightly lit street, it's akin to stepping out of a secret place and back into the light of day. The beer selection is impressive. This food is Belgian inspired. Hence the name being derived from a mix of Trappist Monks, trap doors, and a hidden underground enclave. Many of the beers have higher alcohol content, listed on the menu, be advised. The specialty is Moules Frites, mussels prepared in various broths and fries double fried in duck fat served with a flight of your choice of flavored mayonnaise such as wasabi, curry, truffle, sriracha, etc. Very good. Reservations are highly recommended. It was a busy Thursday at 6:30pm and the place was literally packed, even the bar. The two of us were seated in a large, dark, alcove booth fitting for six or perhaps even eight. We had a reservation, so the hostess said, "we may as well fill it" since it was that crowded. Being such, it was five minutes before we were noticed and placed our drink orders, another five before our water arrived and we ordered and about 30 minutes later to get our food. In between we were left to ourselves. The service was not negligent, but it was minimal and not really friendly either. It was a busy night, so we will have grace. But the mussels were delicious. We both had the Provincale, a rich, savory, Mediterranean sauce of tomatoes, garlic and white wine. Bourdain says "never order the mussels", in his Kitchen Confidential book, but here you are safe because they are very popular and the main feature. I've probably said this before and it is worth repeating, they need to up their crusty bread game. The broth is so good and the accompanying bread just doesn't lend itself to bringing the dish to another level, but it could were it better bread. This is a solid and must do restaurant experience when visiting Greenville. It arguably should be the "one" restaurant you must visit in town because of its unique ambiance and unique food & beverage.

I had never had a praline before, and she took the time to explain it and answer my questions. I'm celiac so hearing that most of their products are gluten free was a big plus. I was in the mood for some homemade soft-serve ice cream. To our surprise we stumbled upon River Streets Sweets- an homemade candy and ice cream confectionery located in the heart of downtown Greenville. I was in Oh, with the desserts they had ranging from candy, fudge, chocolate covered apples, soft-serve ice cream, popcorn, nuts, chocolate covered pretzels/marshmallows, and so much more. Thankfully my family was there because I would have bought everything-it's a child's dream. At last I got the soft-serve ice cream I was craving all day. Let me tell you, the ice cream, gelato, and sorbet were truly homemade. To my surprise the prices were not as pricey considering they were in downtown Greenville. My family got two scoops in a cup costing $7.95 a single scoop is $4.95. The scoops are a decent size for the price you are paying. River Streets Sweets has some unique flavors that I have never heard of before, such as Bear Claw, Blueberry, Hazelnut Coffee Crunch, and Pink Grapefruit. They also serve Raspberry Sorbet sugar-free which is nice. My family decided to get Rocky Road and Bear Claw. The ice cream was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. It did not taste artificial like some ice creams in supermarkets. My whole family was pleased with the purchase. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the one member who was mending the ice cream section. She was so kind and energetic, letting my family sample the flavors before purchasing, which a lot of food businesses do not do. In addition, to my surprise, the store was huge, leaving plenty of space to walk around without running into other customers. The store was organized, making it easy to see all the yummy treats. There was no visible dirt or dust, the businesses looked polished. The only downfall would be the parking situation, since they are located in the heart of Greenville parking is limited. I would recommend walking and parking in a free or reduced parking area. The next time I am in downtown Greenville or around the area, I will be stopping by River Streets Sweets to indulge in some of their other sweet treats, such as their fudge and chocolate covered apples. I would recommend checking out River Streets Sweets if you are in the area.
