They were time stamped. The outside of the fruitcake is supposed to have a crunch. Both of these were soft and melting the second that we touched them. The things we have had here have been very tasty, but the set up for ordering and the wait staff are subpar. While the staff seems nice, they will see you just sitting there, aware of your order, and nothing happens. Or you order and it doesn't get put out at all until you ask (if it isn't coffee). So odd. Ambiance is really nice though. Desserts are pricey.
