WOW! This place is jumpin' Excellent matcha & espresso! Wide variety of fresh baked goods. Lots of swag in the shop. Very comfy cozy seating. I'll be back next time I'm in Greenville

Cute place with lots of seating! Coffee shop located inside of a big building shared with a few other businesses, so you can work in the Commons (not too many outlets though depending on where you sit so make sure you secure a table near one)! Beautiful latte art and yummy coffee!!

Fabulous coffee! This was the start to our day of exploring upstate and it was a perfect beginning. Two lovely baristas prepared a latte for Mrs. K. and a cortado for me. Very nicely done and while the latte was in a paper cup, my cortado was in the proper short glass. Excellent, rich coffee. At 7:30 on Sunday morning, the pastries were still arriving and being set up so we just enjoyed our coffee, watched a few people coming and going and then we were on our way ourselves. The Commons is a pretty awesome little food hall. Quiet this early but it's clear that it will pick up later in the day and into the evening. This is a great spot at the commons! Since it's trail side, you can sit inside or outside on the benches by the swamp rabbit. I love that they have vegan options for food. The avocado toast is great--a classic avocado toast elevated by good, crusty bread and fresh toppings. I always get it with coffee or a tea.

Great coffee and baked goods. Had the Guatemalan paired with double chocolate chip cookies. Oh.my. The cookie was great, but 3.50 + tax. Coffee was reasonably priced. Love the outside access to the river view. Really nice spot.

Methodical coffee is always great. I got an iced latte with honey. I loved the hint of sweetness while still being able to taste the coffee that they roast themselves. I went on a busy Saturday morning. The baristas were still personable and very efficient.

Love that there's a Methodical Coffee in the The Commons! They even have an expanded food menu that they don't have in their downtown location. They offer savory items from a Croque Madame to sausage breakfast bowl. They still have their pastries even though they are located next The Bake Room. Methodical offers more vegan and gluten free options. Definitely try the brown butter pecan blondie and the salted banana polenta loaf! If you're looking for a good study area, they do have four tables in the Methodical area that's off to the side. There's a few outlets there and definitely quieter compared to the rest of The Commons.

I tried to one located in the Commons. Most definitely a modern hipster spot but I can vouche for the dirty chai! Super tasty.

Best coffee you can buy in town, hands down. Order the seasonal drinks and dishes. Buy a bag or three of coffee and take it home.

As you descend the stairs from the sidewalk, you pass under the sign that's visible from the street. Upon entering you're facing a large bar area with a pastry display cabinet and of course the machines that create liquid magic. They serve a variety of meals and baked goods to accompany your beverage of choice. We ordered a vanilla latte, iced red eye, two egg breakfast with hash browns and toast, and a western omelet with hash browns and toast. After a short wait we received our coffees. Then our food was delivered. I have to say, the omelet was great. Stuffed with spicy sausage and vegetables! The hash browns were outstanding. Perfect for that style. Slightly crunchy, golden brown, and seasoned. Wife enjoyed her breakfast as much as I did mine. The inside is quite large. The front seating area is big, but the back room area is huge. There are so many seating options to include outside seating. We really enjoyed this coffee shop/cafe. The environment was great, the esthetics, the employees, the food, and location was fantastic. Highly recommend if you're visiting Greenville, SC. We will definitely be back!

So I'm thinking ok this place has to be good. It took about 20-25 mins to get to the register and order. I ordered the sweet corn shaken espresso with almond milk and a cinnamon roll so I could make sure to show support. It took 22 mins to get the drink which o tried to be understanding because it was busy and there was really only one person making drinks. Most efficient way? Maybe not but he was steadily working. I watched probably 20 drinks come up almost spilling over they were so full and delicious looking. Finally mine comes up and 1/4 of the cup is empty. Weather ice or almond milk at least fill the cup like the rest of the drinks. So whatever 45 mins I'm not asking for a remake or anything it's already hot inside and just standing there I'm sweating. I get in the car and think well they short changed the drink at least I got this thick cinnamon roll to make up for it. Well jokes on me again. The roll was very dense and dry. While it may have been made that morning it was dry as if it was a day or two old. I figured maybe it was just the outside that was dry but it was the same even in the center. The centers are always supposed to be the best part. Sadly I didn't get the experience everyone else seems to get. Over all pretty disappointing experience that I wish would have been better to give a better review for a local shop.

North St. based on the 4.5 Yelp rating. What's going on here? Are these reviews being artificially boosted? I genuinely had to look at my phone to make sure I'd come to the right place based on expectations vs. reality. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and chicken. The chicken was a had an odd mushy/spongy texture -- a couple of tenders unceremoniously dropped on the plate and nothing like in any of the marketing photos -- and the gravy was not very flavorful at all. Someone else in my party got the chicken and waffles -- their chicken was better than mine, but still completely unimpressive. I also have to say, unfortunately, that the staff is not on their game. We had communication problems with the person taking our order, and the self-bussing area was overflowing with dirty forks and plates. This is a corporate slop establishment, and Greenville has at least a dozen breakfast spots, especially locally-owned ones, that are miles better than this. I regret not looking a bit harder for a better local spot.
