This place is very cute. We stopped by one a Friday at 9AM. When I asked for the avocado toast, I was told there was only one left. I had to inform the server that I did indeed want it. My husband ordered a bacon egg and cheese. We took out seats and then my husband was told they were out of egg. His sandwich was dry toasted bread, bacon, and unmelted cheese. I overheard the servers talking and they were out of a good bit of breakfast food. The coffee was really good and I enjoyed the scone I ate later. read more

This is a cozy coffee shop located in the Montgomery Building. We enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich (not pictured), a savory biscuit that had garlic and bacon and a cup of coffee. When coffee is really good, I'll drink it black. This coffee is really good! Where many coffees have a bitter flavor that suggest masking with a little cream and sugar, this coffee is smooth. No need for any cream or sugar. My only regret was not buying coffee to bring home with me to Atlanta. Service was friendly. This is a great place to relax and have a conversation. Cutest little coffee shop in Spartanburg! The decor inside is hip but is kinda small. It may be because of COVID restrictions so sitting area is sparse, maybe 4-5 tables. The barista was super sweet and helpful. I ended up getting the Beekeeper latte and loved it. Usually I don't like the lattes at local coffee shops but this one blew my mind. I believe it has honey, coconut and lavender. The drink was served in a to go cup but I took the top off because there was beautiful foam art on top. I have always held Little River Coffee in high regard, and their newest joint, Pharmacy Coffee, does not disappoint. Similar in concept to La Columbe in NY, as well as espresso cafes in Italy where coffee preparation is a spectator sport and coffee drinking is meant to be brisk, The Pharmacy offers high-quality drinks in an open, fast-paced setting. While its sister store, Little River Coffee Bar, offers a more laidback, intimate experience similar to a college coffeehouse, the Pharmacy is more fast-paced and sophisticated, lending itself to a place where you go for quick, quality coffee drinks and not to spend an hour or two tucked up on a rainy day. Both places offer the same high quality service and product, but different atmospheres. As for my first trip, I tried their signature drink, the Beekeeper, a coconut, honey and lavendar latte (note: I asked for mine to be made with almond milk, as I can't tolerate whole and they do not carry low-fat/skim milk). It was well-made and tasted great, although I generally don't care for sweet coffee drinks (there was a sugary aftertaste in my mouth after, which some may mind). If you like the sweeter side, this was a solid drink and balanced well between the various flavors. The Beekeeper cost about $5+, which is pretty fair, given the quality and craft involved. Service was fast and friendly, like always from a LRR spot. Staff was on top of orders and kept the place spotless. The bar and duo table seating is great for those not in groups, and the clientele seemed to be a mix of office workers and the college crowd coming in from the business school next door and Wofford. While I personally prefer the Coffee Bar for its quieter atmosphere and broader range of drinks, Pharmacy is a great addition to Spartanburg and offers a unique experience to those learning about coffee culture. read more

Everything about this place is aesthetic and cute. If you are in search of a cute coffee spot to study, hangout, or just take cute insta pics this is it!! My boyfriend got the beekeeper and I got the matcha. He enjoyed his drink thoroughly, while I wished I asked for iced on this hot day it was still so good. The matcha is not sweetened so you should def ask for some honey to go with it!! On top of this place being very aesthetic they keep it so clean! When you go in you can tell they really put effort into their job. The little things like it being so clean, the cute latte art, and the kindness shown by the employees makes the atmosphere very inviting. read more
