From the moment we lifted the first tray, it honestly felt like a hotel breakfast setup. The breakfast potatoes looked and tasted like frozen potatoes with seasoning. The eggs were strange--runny and oddly textured. The gravy was so thin it slid right off the biscuit. Sadly, there wasn't a single item on the buffet that I'd want to go back for. At $17.50 per person, it was hard not to feel disappointed. It reminded me of a lower-end hotel breakfast, and I'd even say almost worse. After re-reading other reviews, I noticed that most people rave about the lunch and dinner options, so maybe that's when this place really shines. There's an additional charge for any added flavoring, so the drink set me back over $7 (before any tip). While I don't mind paying a bit extra for a great drink, I felt it was very average in taste and probably would have received better from a chain coffee shop. Service from the staff was friendly. I felt this is one of those more modern workspace coffee shops that's lost in a bit of an identity crisis with some market and prepared food items. The cappuccino had smooth, velvety foam and a balanced espresso flavor -- simple, clean, and done right. My drink was earthy and warm with a gentle spice from the turmeric, and the honey rounded it out nicely. It's not something you see on every menu, and they executed it well.
