We visited Sole twice on our recent trip to Greenville and loved both the coffee and the service…read more On our second visit, when we were about to leave for an 8.5 hr drive home, we unfortunately arrived right after some folks who were trying to order at least *20 drinks* (I kid you not) for people but hadn't actually written down what they needed... which was not only painful to listen to but made us worry that we'd be there for an hour while that order got fulfilled. But, the owner remembered us from a couple days before (and that we were out-of-towners) and while someone else was helping them, got our order started for us so it was already ready and we just paid for it once the Pokey People were done putting in their order. So we were out in just a couple more minutes. Now THAT is excellent service. I particularly recommend the pistachio latte and nutella lattes, both delicious!

Looking for an espresso bar, I found this place on Yelp. What a gem! Loved the authenticity of this…read moreItalian espresso bar. Such a cool vibe. At the door is a wise saying, on a sign, by the proprietor, Giacomo , that we met. Translation: "Tout le monde veut gagner jusqu'à ce qu'ils se rendent compte du nombre de défaites qu'il faut." Or "Everyone wants to win until they realize how many defeats it takes." We had a wonderful conversation with Giacomo discussing our trip to Italy and my passion, Italian cars. He told us that he also has live music on the patio, on occasion. The espresso and croissants were delicious. If we lived in the area I would make this a weekly stop. I am not surprised that every review is 5 stars. They are well deserved! Highly recommend and wish Giacomo much success.

What a hidden gem this place is!!! I am absolutely obsessed…read more A few of my girlfriends and I were originally going to the other very popular brunch spot in this same parking lot, but the wait was way too long. We were walking back around to wait in the parking lot when one of my friends spotted this place across the street. I've eaten at the other restaurant a million times, but I had NEVER even noticed this place! It's tucked away in the corner behind the burrito place, and all I can say is, what a delightful surprise. The girls working behind the counter were SO nice, super welcoming, and really helpful with picking out what we wanted. The whole place has such a cute little vibe, and we decided to sit outside. They brought our food and coffees right out to us, which was so nice. And the coffee was amazing. Everyone loved theirs, including two of my friends who are serious coffee snobs, so that was a HUGE win. For the food, my crepe was absolutely delicious, and my friends loved their meals too. The strawberries and bananas were SO fresh, you could genuinely tell they had just been sliced. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. I fear the other popular brunch spot in that parking lot has some MAJOR competition now. Definitely give this place a try!!

I took one sip of the "Honey Hive Latte" and immediately realized I was in for a treat. The torched marshmallows brought a nice aroma and the char added to dimensions of flavor in the cup. If you're in Spartanburg SC it's a must try.

I really enjoyed my coffee and thought they did a great job with some local beans. The staff was super friendly and happy to make my drink. Yikes! The young girl seemed like she was new and I'd imagine the manager didn't think she'd have…read moreto show her how to make a sundae. She made such a mess I just said forget it and walked away. She had moreice cream in the cup than it would hold, so clearly no room for chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Then added whipped cream and a cherry; and then put chocolate sauce on top of that. She made a huge mess; washed her hands twice while putting it together, then put it in another cup of the same size as if that would help. The other girl just stood there laughing at her. No apologies or anything. You need to do some training with your employees.

She ordered a cappuccino, and I went with the mushroom-turmeric latte sweetened with honey. Both drinks were well‑made and had their own personality. The cappuccino had smooth, velvety foam and a balanced espresso flavor -- simple, clean, and done right.
