I ordered the chai tea latte, bacon twist, and spinach and feta quiche. The chai was delicious, not too spicy and not too sugary. The bacon cheese twist was much sweeter than I was expecting. I was hoping for something very savory, but the brown sugar made it more like a sweet pastry. It would be cool if they had two versions - one salty and one sweet. The quiche was my favorite item, the crust just melts in your mouth, yet it wasn't super heavy. It was a perfect way to start the day that would be just enough to get me through until lunchtime. If I worked in Chevy Chase, I'd be here every day for breakfast and coffee. It's so much better than Starbucks. I'd much rather get my sugar from quality baked goods than from syrupy coffee.

Our one…read morecritique is the icing is VERY sweet for some flavors (chocolate and salted caramel, chocolate, and vanilla). The cakes themselves were phenomenal. I personally LOVED the strawberry icing. Seems to be made with real, fresh strawberries as I swear I saw strawberry seeds mixed in and the flavor is true to real strawberry, not the fake strawberry flavors you might get from extracts. We didn't eat all of them so I got Desert cups from Hobby Lobby and froze then individually so mom can grab one at a time from the freezer when she has a sweet tooth and doesn't have to have a bunch out that may go stale before she can eat them all. Will definitely be a repeat customer for those occasions Mom joins us and highly recommend!

We were met with a friendly smile and we were walked through each flavor and we were also informed that the bakery was donating a portion of anything lemon flavored that day to a local charity! They also have lovely soaps, lotions, and other little treasures. We can't wait to visit again soon!
