What a wonderful enjoyable late afternoon lunch. Arianna was our server and did a fabulous job. She was sweet and attentive. This place has a fun vibe and a good alcohol selection to make it better. Love this Irish pub.

The waitress did a great job making sure we had drinks and took care of us. The food came out and was slow. I understand they were busy but when you are busy, the food should come out hot, not lukewarm. The food tastes good just wish it was hot.

    Beef Limerick

The Beef Limerick was amazing and well worth the price! Meat was tender and sauce was delicious. Carrots were so tender! Also had the fish and chips which really delicious and filling. Cooked just right! This is our second time here and they were spot on both times! Highly recommend them! Great ambience with loads of entertainment to view on the walls. Restrooms were very clean too.

Came in to check it out for lunch. Extensive menu! Lunch specials, Brunch every Saturday and Sunday 11-2p! Beer to go ( growlers only), jelly shots for $2 everyday, live music, trivia on Tuesdays,Glutn free and dairy free options, a bit dark inside that I had to use my phone light to read menu better. pub environment. Food isn't homemade it seams.

What went wrong here today? NOTHING! What went right here today? EVERYTHING! Fantastic five star performance! This was my first pimento cheese burger ever. I'd never tried one before because I'm not partial to pimento cheese. Not the same thing at all! This stuff was melted and generously poured over my burger! So Tasty! The nice young lady who served us was terrific! She catered to us like we were the only customers in this restaurant! Very Commendable! The food was great and the prices were very reasonable! I can't wait to come back! Thank You Delaney's in Spartanburg, S.C.!

The Shepard's Pie was not good. It tasted like unseasoned ground beef over mashed potatoes. Very disappointing.

I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life. Tim the Suitcase Regular Rating Breakdown: * Atmosphere: Cozy but with the unpredictable energy of a log-rolling final * Food: Fried pickles that could ruin a man's productivity in the best possible way * Service: Friendly, fast, and kindly nonjudgmental of whatever fever dream I was living in * Entertainment: 10/10 involuntary lumberjack immersion If you're looking for a place where you can lose an entire afternoon under the noble banner of "I swear I'm still working", Main Street Bar & Eatery is the arena. Lots of dark wood, dark green upholstery, and Irish Knick-knacks/advertisements/decor, plus traditional Irish music playing. There is also rooftop seating. I ordered the Lavender Gin Spritz from the seasonal cocktail menu, along with a starter of Bread and Butter (homemade Irish Brown Bread with a selection of freshly made butters) and The Orchard Salad topped with grilled chicken. The salted butter was definitely my favorite with the bread but it was fun to try the sweet maple cinnamon butter and savory fresh herb butter. Our food arrived lightning fast. Unfortunately the kitchen was out of apples, which would have added a nice crunch and tang to the salad, but I just sipped my drink (which was not lavender forward) to get that "bite" instead. The place looks like a pub, inside and out, with a huge patio in the rear. All the workers we encountered were really polite and personable. It was very clean inside, even the bathrooms. We pretty much knew what we wanted but enjoyed looking at the menu anyway. Started off with a 20 oz Black & Tan and a 16 oz Harps. So good. My husband had the Fish and Chips. Perfect fry, thick and flaky fish, served with a side of malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The slaw was crisp and savory and the fries crisp. He loved every bite. I had the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was tender with a delicious onion gravy. Some veggies were included (green beans, cauliflower and carrot). The mash itself was creamy and chunky, just the way I love it. Complete comfort food. We ended the meal by splitting a dish of Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was sweet and savoury, with a hint of salt to balance, topped with vanilla ice cream and more toffee sauce. (I haven't had a Sticky Toffee Pudding since I was a child and this was such a delicious treat to share.) The whole experience was exceptional and we cannot wait to go back.

Our waiter was very patient, friendly and explained the specials and menu items in detail. He made the dining a positive experience for sure! Potato bites were good. Whatever the shmear underneath was it could use some more of that! Bangers and mash were meh. Bland mash, overcooked bangers and not enough gravy. I was provided some extra gravy though. Fish and Chips were a big hit! Perfect cook and the batter was light, crisp and stuck to the fish well! Tartar was great. Slaw was on the boring side but unnecessary in the end. Everyone was friendly, a band was playing, the lights were dim, drinks were cold and the fish is good. If you live in the area I highly recommend checking it out!
