After stopping at a Nursery in Parrish and told "I will get a estimate to you by noon today" (it was 10AM) -THREE WEEKS AGO and still waiting..... Stopped at a nursery in Bradenton and felt like I was putting the employee out by asking questions................. I finally stopped at Brewer's Nursery!!! This is now Solara. I am having a landscaper redo all of my front Landscaping . I know nothing about plants. I didn't like the plants he suggested so I went looking myself. Not knowing what I was looking for I Enlisted the help of ryan. By the time I left I knew every plant that I wanted and asked my landscape or if I could get the plants myself. I don't get my landscapers discount but working with Ryan was well worth the extra money to get exactly what I want. The plants are also beautiful. First off, the lovely person that helped me "Amanda" was incredibly knowledgeable and really took her time to help us figure out the best options. She really listened intently to what my specific criteria was AND instantly had ideas and showed us a bunch of options. She also also helped us understand that some of the preconceived options in my head might not give me the ultimately best results for our project. I just returned from Brewer's nursery. What a wonderful experience I had there!! Amanda was extremely helpful and took her time showing us different plants and left us alone to discuss what we wanted. She was always near enough to be reached when we had a question. She brought our plants to the car, got paper to protect the carpeting and a young man helped to load the tree while Amanda loaded the plants. I will always use Brewer's Nursery for my gardening needs! read more

If this was 8 years ago I would say they were great when they did our original landscape. . I have called recently and asked if they could do a refresh on my landscape only involving mulch and some rock. The girl I spoke to ( whose last name was Brewer) said they don't do that anymore but would find someone to go out there and have a look. I sent photos and she had my number. 2.5 weeks pass and no call or response. I call her and she basically said we couldn't find anyone After putting me on hold for 5 minutes. " I believe they didnt even try and did not have the decency to call me and let me find someone who could. Very poor customer service And lack of communication! read more

Being in the landscaping business I've dealt with a lot of nurseries. Brewer's is by far the best. The staff are a breath of fresh air compared to other nurseries. Purchased a beautiful palm tree. Charged us $319. Called me the next week to say charge did not go thru and only delivery charge went thru charged me another $225. You guessed it. They double charged us a total of $546 and never called to tell us of error. Found it while reviewing monthly card charges. Either very unethical business or bad accounting practices but now have to drive over there with double charge proof and get a credit. Bad experience will never go or recommend again. read more

Let me start by saying we just moved to the area and stopped by the nursery to look at what plants/palms were available a few weeks before our delivery. We were provided Anthony's (ABC Landscaping) contact information to setup an initial meeting and right off the bat noticed that he was very knowledgeable about what plants/palms would work for our yard and was very easy to get along with. We finalized our selections and he immediately scheduled a date that we would work with our bust schedule. Anthony and the two staff members showed up on time with all our plants/palms. The installation took most of the day and the results were awesome!! Anthony completed a walk through with us and even help me adjust my irrigation system for the next 3 weeks to make sure the plants get enough water. He will return in 3 weeks to readjust the irrigation system to a normal cycle. We achieved what my wife and I were looking for at a very good price with absolutely no issues. We have already received several complements on the landscaping and would highly recommend Brewers Landscaping, ask for Anthony (ABC Landscaping) their sub contractor. read more

Have to write this review, We have shopped several nurserys in the area and have found none that have the expert staff in knowledge and helpness that we have found at Brewers. I have been there twice now and the same young man has helped us he is so knowledgeable and kind. Their plants are priced right and are in excellent condition and so many to choose from . Anthony was excellent at doing numerous landscaping designs in the past and recently. The crew was cordial and professional. What impressed me most was the remedial action that took place when a storm uprooted a tree. Anthony came out the same day and replanted as well as staked the tree! read more

I will start by saying I NEVER write reviews unless it is negative. Not in this case. I cant say enough good things about Brewers. We are in the process of finishing up the 2nd phase of our landscaping and Lee Brewer and his crew have bent over backwards to complete quickly and open to suggestions from me. They did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Having just recently gone through new construction of home, i have dealt with SO many bad contractors (all of them), that finding one like Brewers was refreshing. Lee is a throwback to 20 years ago when customer service and satisfactin was first and foremost. I have recommended them to all of our neighbors. I will also add that they have the best prices for install, no need to waste time looking anywhere else. You will end up back at Brewers anyway. read more
