I really enjoyed talking to him. The place is not fancy, but they are very nice and have large selection, particularly of small plants in every color.

We have lived in two houses in The Villages. At the second house, the Santos crew needed to replace overgrown, old landscaping and redesign plant beds. They totally removed all plants, re-designed all beds, and re-planted all new plants. Although the first job was small, the second job really showed of what the group was capable since expansive changes were made to the front yard, the back yard and both side yards. In the front yard, the old landscape walls were removed, new wall pavers updated and re-defined the landscaping-bed shapes. Plants were carefully selected by Efrain (the Lead), and were strategically placed to result in color and location balance. The whole property became aesthetically pleasing. Efrain and his highly skilled crew listened to our ideas, provided solid guidance and offered their valuable opinions when asked. They came when scheduled and worked diligently to complete the job before moving on to someone else's. The trees, bushes, and ground cover were carefully planted in holes which had been correctly prepared with new planting soil, fertilizer and mulch or stone. We were told how to care for the plants and what to expect as they grew to maturity. They checked our sprinkler system to make sure the water was hitting all the plants as needed. Our present home was a large job but after working with this crew for two jobs (one small and one extensive), we feel blessed to have found skilled, reliable, honest, and hardworking professionals who charged us fairly and kept their word to provide us with grand results. We can't wait until the plants mature to their full beauty. We are so grateful that we have told Santos Landscaping (Efrain) that they can send people to our house to see the results and ask us questions about our experience. Completely disgusted with my experience with Lee's Tree…read more We went there to purchase two Foxtail Palm trees and agreed to pay nearly $900 for delivery and installation through the owner, Brent, who was very pleasant during the sales process. While ordering, we specifically explained that we were replacing two dead palm trees that had died during the freeze. At no point were we told there would be additional tree removal fees. It's not even listed on the order statement. The day of delivery and installation, we were suddenly informed about these extra charges. When I questioned it, I was met by a very condescending employee, which completely changed the experience. Because of the unprofessional way the situation was handled, they ended up losing a nearly $900 sale over what could have easily been communicated upfront. What makes this even more frustrating is that we originally purchased the same palm trees from them years ago. At that time, they delivered, installed, and even removed two oak trees without charging any separate "tree removal fee." Good customer service starts with transparency and professionalism, and unfortunately this experience had neither. Amazing way to lose a $900 sale over a petty, undisclosed tree removal fee.

Monday the sod looked like crap and weed. By Tuesday nice fresh batches of sod were arriving. I think the sod I received was certainly not what was picked out. By delivery time Thursday it looked like dry weeds and mixed crap. Sod was dry, a mixture of multiple types of grass and the cheapest street side Bahia. Grass pallets completely fell apart at the touch with lots of big tree roots. I called Miller's to state I received bad grass. Plus I had several experts look at the grass who said it was "not Argentine Bahia" but wild grass. Millers would not honor my request or do anything about the grass. One lady simply laughed while I was complaining to the other salespersons. Grass is too costly to be left hanging. Being a repeat client I was a Very upset and dissatisfied repeat client. Watch what you buy. Feels like a bait and switch experience.
