I totally forgot that I had used them before. The owner remembered me though! I will say everything was done as promised and in a timely fashion. The crew was professional. During the job, I observed conduct by a member of the crew that raised serious concerns about professionalism and safety. The activity was captured on my property's security cameras, which include both video and audio recording. Based on what was observed, the individual appeared impaired while on my property. Additionally, an unidentified person arrived in an SUV and handed something to this worker, after which his behavior appeared further compromised. This occurred while the company was actively performing contracted services. Equally troubling was the manner in which my elderly grandfather was treated. His interactions with the crew were dismissive and disrespectful, which is unacceptable under any circumstances. I also found the owner's response--or lack thereof--to these issues deeply concerning. Rather than addressing the conduct or ensuring proper supervision of employees, the behavior appeared to be tolerated. This raises serious questions about management practices, oversight, and overall business ethics. Due to these experiences, I cannot recommend Clearcut Tree Service, Inc. Saturday morning, I was told that his machine had broken down and that he was trying to borrow one from a friend. I understood that unexpected issues happen and appreciated the update. He then confirmed he would come Sunday instead. Sunday came, and he never showed up. I reached out to ask if he was still coming, but I never received a response.What makes this especially frustrating is that I had three other insured companies ready to do the job, some for less money. I turned them down because I believe in honoring my commitments once I've made an agreement. Unfortunately, that same respect was not returned. Because he failed to show up and stopped communicating, I had to explain the situation to my tenants after I had already told them the tree would be removed over the weekend. It made me look unreliable through no fault of my own, and now I'm spending my Monday scrambling during work to find another contractor to do a job that should have been completed days ago. As a business owner myself, I understand that equipment breaks and plans change. What I cannot understand is confirming a second appointment, not showing up, and then completely ignoring your customer. My father literally just passed away and I scheduled them once I had to reschedule and then I had to reschedule again due to my mother being in the hospital mind you my father just passed away less than 90 days ago. I thought that we had rescheduled for May 4 and learned to find out after many text messages that I sent that I had no appointment on May 4. I had made all the arrangements to get the cars out of the driveway all this stuff off the house to have it pressure washed and my weeds, weeded, and my bushes trimmed When I try to firm up the reservation for tomorrow morning at 7:30 which I have in writing I honestly a guy I could not believe when I got a text back that said I had rescheduled three times which is not true. I rescheduled twice. It's been very overwhelming since my father passed away. I'm not an owner. I'm a renter, but this is my parents house and I will literally not have anyone speak to me the way I was spoken to due to the fact that my father passed away rescheduling twice is not a cardinal sin and then if you didn't want to do it, you shouldn't of agreed to come back.
