We explained that we did not have the payment yet as it had not been transferred into the account we were paying them with. He firmly stated that they needed payment right then. The job was just started, we were not contacted that they were coming that day. My husband ran back in the house to write a check and asked them not to cash it until the next week. They agreed. The job was supposed to be completed that day. When we got home later that evening we noticed there were several things that had not been completed. In the meantime our check did clear. What followed was 2 weeks of bad communication and promises broken. They would say they would be at our house at a certain time and day and then not show up, and not text or call with a reason. We always had to call them. Finally my husband got pretty direct with the owner and told him how disappointed we were with the situation and that he just wanted the job completed. He was gaslighted a bit by the owner. The next day the owner finally completed the work. For this we appreciate that he finally honored his word. This company touts their faith as the backbone of their business. The landscape stonework was done very nicely. Unfortunately, 3 of the 7 bushes they planted died. We are just happy to be done with the situation and suggest to the owner and his supervisor's to just communicate with their future customers. Then 2 weeks to follow I noticed my front nor the back yard hadn't been cut or edged and the original evaluator (Mark) had said they would be doing weekly cuts. I then decided to call and see if there was an acct/billing issue. I spoke with Barbara and she said they had reported that they cut my yard but couldn't access the back. I then explained that there wasn't any cutting or edging front/back and asked if I could get another appointment with the evaluator (Mark) and she said the following day at 4pm with Mark. I called a week later and Barbara explained that I was irate and had canceled my service when we spoke last.(?) When I explained I hadn't canceled my service and why would I had made an appointment to re-evaluate she said "I beg to differ Sir". Then said "we no long cut grass in your area". Barbara might need to be re-evaluated at this business! Also my guess is they have enough work to match their work load, and new accounts are not important.
