First off, they answer the phone. Most places do not nor will they return voice mail. Karalyn answered, was out within a couple hours same day for estimate, the crew showed up shortly after. Really fast service. It was originally going to be finished next day, but the guys worked hard and did the whole job before quitting for the day. Cleaned everything up nice. They were tired, but still friendly and easy to get along with. I am very impressed with the prompt, professional service. Second time using them and I definitely recommend them. Homeowners beware! High Maintenance Tree Service came out to asses and give a price for removing this tree on Saturday, 8/12/2023; They made an appointment to remove the tree the following Tuesday, 8/15/2023. Two employees showed up and determined they could only do the job with a lift. They made another appointment for that Thursday, but they canceled. They made another appointment that they also canceled. Now it's Tuesday, 8/29/2023, and they once again gave a reason why they could not show up. They have strung me along for almost a month now with cancelations and inability to complete the job. The kicker is Hurricane Idalia is heading right toward us. I would not recommend this company; it is not reliable, prone to canceling appointments, and very hard to get a hold of. Their answering machine is always full. read more

I have not personally used their tree services but I am a victim of their negligence. After the recent storm they were utilized to trim down / remove a tree by the property management where I rent a lot and live in with my camper. Unfortunately their climber left with significant injuries and the team falsely reported to Karalyn (presumed manager of this company) that nothing in the vicinity was damaged in the process. Although this is false and clearly can see they had dropped a limb on my roof and it had bounced and hit the side of my home. With multiple eye witnesses, a police report, and multiple photos to show the damages from the situation, they're denying to pay for repairs of my home. She also is refusing to provide me with their insurance information which now after further research I am not finding they are even a legitimate tree service business in Florida. She is stating that my home isn't near worth the damage repair estimate provided by an RV roof repair company. I highly advise you do strategic research prior to hiring. They are extremely unprofessional and do not take responsibility in their wrong doings. Her solution in the beginning was "name your price" but we preferred to have it looked at by a professional (received 3 quotes and even providing the lowest quote she wasn't happy), then after speaking with management, we had agreed she would replace the home with one of the same style, size & value just more "livable" due to the circumstance, to now "you have to settle for less than even the worth of your home because that's all I can do for you". Only doing what appeases to her as this problem caused by her team is such an inconvenience for the company. She is now IGNORING my calls and text messages. Today we had High Maintenance Tree Service trim some trees, take down two trees and grind some stumps. At first a crew of four showed up and immediately went to work. They never even stopped to take a break. Within about an hour more people showed up with more equipment. There was a total of eight people all working. If it wasn't for a little stump grinding residue, you would never have guessed that that much work had been done. They left my property cleaner than it was when they got here. In my 13 years in Florida, I have never seen a work crew work as hard as these people did. Both of my neighbors used this company, so we asked for an estimate when we realized we bit off more than we could chew clearing our partial lot. The estimate was fair and reasonable, we gave him our budget and they worked within that budget. The young men that came out were very professional, respectful and went above and beyond. We were very happy. It's nice to deal with companies that understand word of mouth and customer service and don't want to do as little as possible for as much as they can charge. Took 3 days to take day a basic tree in the front yard. Had 3 trees taken day by Marion tree last year(great company) . Was wanting to use them but they were too busy. So my neighbor found this company(worst mistake). Took Marion 1 day to remove 3 huge oaks & this company to remove 1 smaller tree. Lost 3 days of work due to them not showing up the first day. The next day 2 guys showed up & worked 3 hours before 1 of them walked off the job leaving a young man to clean up a job that wasn't even half way done. If it wasn't for that young man being nice & apologetic. I would've told them not to come back & called another company to finish job. 3rd day they sent 3 guys & they finally finished a small tree job. Called office to see why it took 3 days & the lady said they don't give a time line on how long it'll take them to remove a tree. So just a little FYI do yourself a favor & don't waste your time on this company. Oh & they're over priced paid 2150.00 for little tree & lost 3 days of work. The guy came out to our site, was very professional and knew his stuff. We had 2 trees taken down and he even brought a splitter and split the wood for us. We had many trees (about 20) to either take out or prune as the first step of trying to get our property in Rainbow Springs back to one of the nicest in the neighborhood and some were close to the house requiring an experienced climber. This was not a job for just any tree service company so High Maintenance was the obvious choice as already by reputation, they are the best. we waited 3 HOURS for someone to show up for an estimate. not even a phone call. i called at 4:45 pm and asked when someone was coming out today to give us an estimate. was told, "sorry, must have been an over sight. can i send someone out tomorrow?" i said, nope and she said ok. that was all that was said to me.
