Severe weather brought down a massive oak that crushed our roof. Lacey and James came out and gave us an estimate the next day, and they were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. The following day they had a crane and a huge crew working to save our home from further damage. We had 3 huge holes that they tarped so efficiently that the high winds and rain did not create any more damage in our home. Tip top tree service saved us! Although they did trim the trees well, they were also hired to remove the heavy Spanish Moss growth. Per their proposal, they were to bring a lift that moved independently and could raise up to pick the moss. Instead they drove a heavy truck into the yard leaving ruts and breaking many sprinkler pipes, even though I told them they were there. Photos attached. Then they cancelled multiple weeks because their equipment was broken. The first tree they did was cleaned up nicely. The second tree was done half as well as the first and then the third tree does not show any evidence of having been cleaned at all. When they were delayed by over 1.5 hours for the fourth week, I cancelled their service. I would NOT recommend this service. read more

I had spoken to tiptop several times, and I did my final arrangements with Don or Donald. They were to come & the trees, take two down and the trees that were hanging over neighbors yards. When they came, they didn't do the complete job, tore up my back lawn, and I found out the car I have parked back there was hit by the tree limbs they were cutting down never told me! They never cut the tree limbs hanging in my neighbors yard on both Sides, they didn't clean up under the trees either. There was more damage than there was satisfaction in the work they did. They took the money in cash and never completed the job said he had to be paid now. They were working next-door so they said they would finish after there tree was done, never completed the job to this day. I am not happy with their service. Their job is incomplete. Plus they hit the car that was covered and they were told it was there I offered to move it they said it was fine and they took my $1500 cash & NEVER completed the job! They broke the concrete bench that is part of a $1000.00 table set up. They threw it on the ground & just shrugged when I told them. I would never recommend them they don't keep there word or do the work they say they will! I tried over & over to communicate w/them & they don't answer or return call! A reliable arborist recommended this company to me and I'm so grateful-- François Tasse, owner of this company responded to my inquiry promptly, presented his company professionally and earned my confidence. I needed a large sweet gum tree felled on my property in addition to pruning service on several oaks that were encroaching over my pool lanai . François gave me a written estimate of all costs and provided me with the very important licensing and insurance documents . When I received my permit to remove the tree, the removal scheduled immediately. The tree removal crew arrived when scheduled with all the right equipment necessary for the job. Their master tree man, Leon, climbed the tree in question and his crew assisted performing something like Cirque du Soleil in my trees--they were an unbelievably skilled crew who performed like consummate professionals. They chipped the trimmed limbs and cleaned up every scrap-- the place never looked better Listen, tree work is extremely dangerous and you should NEVER have anyone but a professional company handle it for you.
