The Solar Solution team was helpful, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to deal with from start to finish. They explained the technology and the complex permit process, as well as the tax and grant processes. They handled all the paperwork for our DC grant. Between the DC grant and the Federal tax credit 70% of our installation was paid for. Now we're gaining credits instead of monster electric bills during A/C season. We also elected to become "partners" with Pepco and Solar handled all that paperwork too. We get a nice not-so-little check every quarter for the SRECs that our system produces. If you're interested in going Solar, I highly recommend Solar Solution. They make a daunting home improvement a lot easier.

For several years, I had considered going solar, and after thorough research, I finally decided the…read moretiming was right. That's when the real work began. I was very specific about how I wanted my 10 KW system designed--both in scope and budget. I also wanted to work with an installer who was deeply familiar with the incentives available in my area. That criterion alone narrowed down the list significantly. When I began reaching out to various companies, I quickly discovered a frustrating trend: many solar installers were locked into a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach and were unable (or unwilling) to work outside of a limited system design. My project required string inverter build, which further complicated the search. Another challenge I encountered was a general lack of knowledge among some companies' sales teams. Many couldn't confidently discuss critical elements like system components or even the federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC), which is currently in the phase-out period--making it even more urgent for homeowners to act now. After speaking with many companies, I had the good fortune of connecting with Ms. Elena Zenke, owner of Bee Happy Solar. From our first conversation, I knew she was different. She was knowledgeable, flexible, and respectful of both my timeline and payment preferences. She welcomed my involvement in the design process, listened to my needs, and collaborated with me to ensure the system met my vision. Bee Happy Solar is the only company I know of that offers both string inverter and micro inverter solutions, which speaks to their technical versatility. A few months after my installation, I upgraded my home modem and lost connection to my inverter's monitoring system. Elena personally came back to my home and assisted with a support call to the micro inverter manufacturer until the issue was resolved. That level of post-installation service truly solidified my trust in her and her company. The installation crew was professional, efficient, and meticulous in their work. One of the installers even helped me resolve a minor issue with my skylight--completely unrelated to the solar project--and did so at no charge. That act of generosity did not go unnoticed. Post-installation, Ms. Zenke continued to go above and beyond. She assisted in completing additional paperwork for incentives such as the Baltimore County Property Tax Credit and the Maryland Solar Access Grant. In summary, Bee Happy Solar exceeded my expectations at every stage--design, installation, follow-up, and incentive processing. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone considering solar, especially if you're looking for a customized approach backed by exceptional service and expertise.

However, the service warrantee expired and the servicer, Omnidian, would not service even though I offered to pay for it. After searching for a solar provider that would actually do repairs and not have ridiculous pricing (one provider wanted to charge a $500 "truck usage" fee, in addition to an hourly rate), I found Revolution Solar who offered a fair and reasonable hourly, I first spoke with Irvin in Sales who immediately connected me with Brian in Operations. Brian arranged for Jose to come out to do the repair. Jose was on time and courteous. Unfortunately, the microinverter manufacturer sent the wrong cable, so the microinverters could not be replaced that day. Jose ordered a replacement cables for me. When they arrived, Jose came back out, again on time, and replaced the microinverters in about an hour. I cannot recommend Revolution Solar enough. When I buy my next house, I will call Revolution Solar directly to arrange for solar panel installation.

As a family of 4 with 2 full-time working parents and 2 babies under two, Celestial Solar's support was nothing short of amazing for us. They understand the complex nature of adding solar panels to your home and provide accurate estimates, recommend the best tech for your situation, walk you through the entire process, and have an awesome installation team who were efficient and installed everything without any hiccups. The extra support they also provide by completing permit paper work and communication on your behalf, mixed with the professional, yet fun, installation workers that my kids really liked, made this experience great for me and my family. They had incredible ratings and a spotless record with the Better Business Bureau, making them our top choice. When we met with the owner Jim at our home, he was extremely knowledgeable and completely low-pressure. What impressed us most was his honesty: when we asked about adding a whole-house battery system, he walked us through the numbers and advised against it because the ROI just wasn't there for our needs. He never tried to upsell us on anything unnecessary. The entire process was seamless. Celestial Solar handled everything behind the scenes--permits, electrical work, utility coordination, and even helping us register for SRECs. Their crew installed the full 20 panel system in less than a day! Their 10-year workmanship warranty and 25 year panel warranty gave us total peace of mind, and everyone on the team was friendly and kept us updated at every step. Best of all, we just received our first $10 electric bill (the local BGE minimum)! We couldn't be happier with our system and highly recommend Celestial Solar Innovations to anyone considering solar for their home or business.
