In my case, that timeline was not met, and I had to request an extension, which I understand may or may not be approved. I potentially lost funding for thousands of dollars. My project began in August of last year, and I did not receive permission to operate until mid-April of this year. in my experience, communication was inconsistent, with delays in responses and updates. In early to mid-March, I reached out multiple times and was told there were no updates. After escalating my inquiry, I was later informed that a visit had already been scheduled for the following week, which I had not previously been made aware of. This was confusing and raised concerns for me about how scheduling was communicated. Why are they making in house access appointment without ever confirming with me and telling me no appointment has been made at the same time? During one visit, I observed that the door was left open for periods of time in very cold weather (in the 20s °F), despite my requests to keep it closed. When I raised these concerns, I felt that my feedback was not fully acknowledged, as the responses I received focused more on explanations than on addressing the issues I had raised. Overall, my experience was frustrating and did not meet my expectations for professionalism.
