It did take some time for them to respond to my numerous requests, but the result was that they showed that my initial trust in them was warranted. I will continue to do business with them, AND recommend them to anyone seeking a solar energy vendor, as well as anyone seeking to improve their home's energy efficiency.

In my case, that timeline was not met, and I had to request an extension, which I understand may or may not be approved. I potentially lost funding for thousands of dollars. The installation process took significantly longer than originally indicated. My project began in August of last year, and I did not receive permission to operate until mid-April of this year. in my experience, communication was inconsistent, with delays in responses and updates. In early to mid-March, I reached out multiple times and was told there were no updates. After escalating my inquiry, I was later informed that a visit had already been scheduled for the following week, which I had not previously been made aware of. This was confusing and raised concerns for me about how scheduling was communicated. Why are they making in house access appointment without ever confirming with me and telling me no appointment has been made at the same time? During one visit, I observed that the door was left open for periods of time in very cold weather (in the 20s °F), despite my requests to keep it closed. When I raised these concerns, I felt that my feedback was not fully acknowledged, as the responses I received focused more on explanations than on addressing the issues I had raised. Overall, my experience was frustrating and did not meet my expectations for professionalism.

We got panels installed in fall 2025 and got the system turned on in January. Greg answered a million questions and has continued to be our liaison and advocate. They under promised our production and have over delivered on our pepco savings. However, our roof was in rough shape but instead of letting us know that we shouldn't get panels before fixing the roof they said it would be fine and when we replace the roof in ten years they will remove and reinstall the panels for free under warranty. So after some big rains we realized we had roof leaks. Now the leaks were not coming in directly where they installed the panels, just close by. Our roof never had issues before, but with a bunch of guys climbing and hammering into it, there was bound to be issues. Without going into excruciating detail, the sales team has been great but the customer service from the company is lacking unless you get harsh with them. Having to wait 4 months to get panels reinstalled after getting a new roof, the techs not labeling the electrical so reinstall did not go smoothly, and two electrician visits because the first one didn't connect all the panels did not leave us impressed with the service. Finally all is resolved, but it's been a roller coaster. After everything my main takeaway is to make sure your roof is in really good shape before installing solar.

We signed a contract in mid-August 2025 and paid a $5,700 deposit in exchange for a guarantee that work would be substantially completed within 90 days. It is now January and no work as been done, and every effort at contact goes unanswered. It's a giant scam to steal your money. Sales Rep. Brian Spinazzola made a lot of big promises when he came into our home to discuss the project, but from the minute we signed the contract he figured he had his commission and stopped being responsive. We'll have to see him and Solar Energy World in court.

The crew was professional, efficient, and kept to their timeline exactly as promised. From the moment they arrived to the moment the system went live, everything ran smoothly. We had one specific goal: to have the system up and running before December 31. Green Brilliance delivered on that promise without a hitch. Watching the crew work from my living room window, and then seeing our system go live right on schedule, was genuinely exciting. We are already seeing a meaningful difference in our monthly energy bills, and we are looking forward to the summer months when we expect to produce significantly more energy and rely far less on the grid. If you are considering solar, the installation experience with Green Brilliance was everything we hoped it would be. The team was responsive, organized, and clearly knew what they were doing. My main concern is that I was not clearly informed about the standby charge that can apply to solar systems over 15 kW. This ended up affecting the financial side of my system more than I expected. In my view, this is an important detail that should have been explained more clearly during the sales and planning process so I could make a fully informed decision. Since raising this issue, I have also been frustrated by the communication. Responses to my emails have taken several days, and the issue still has not been fully resolved. When you are dealing with a major purchase like a solar system, timely communication and clear follow-up really matter. What has been most disappointing is that I still do not feel the standby charge issue has been properly addressed, and I have not seen much willingness to take responsibility for the lack of disclosure upfront. I understand that not every issue is simple to resolve, but I would have appreciated more ownership and a more proactive effort to work toward a fair solution. I believe Green Brilliance has an opportunity to do better by being more transparent about utility-related charges, especially for larger systems, and by improving responsiveness when customers raise concerns after installation. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps future customers ask the right questions and encourages the company to improve its customer communication and accountability.
