We were very impressed with Solar Fit. From our sales person, Sam, to Bill, the owner, the office staff and installers, everyone treated us like we were their most important customer. After being given some misinformation from another company, Bill invited us into the office to show us the quality of the materials to be used. He was able to give us the system we wanted at a price we could afford and had many financing options available. Our payments will be less than what we will save on our electric bill. And we have added a lot of value to our home. The permitting was handled and installation scheduled quickly. The installers were on time, polite, fast and neat. The best part is watching my new electic meter feeding the grid instead of drawing from it during the day. Thank you, Solar Fit. read more

Solar fit - Solar Installation Near Me - Daytona Beach, Florida

Bought both solar powered and solar pool heat systems. Had issues with both within the first 2 years and everything they said is under warranty they pick what they want. PVC pipe leaking-its not covered. Tubing went but they covered that. And stated the PVC they installed to run the water to the tubes aren't covered. Salesman told me the solar ev panels are built that animals can't get under. Well explain that to the squirrels nest under one of the panels. Called them for a year and got the run around. Was told they were supposed to install squirrel guards. Now they wanna charge me more. They don't tell you that they charge thousands to remove and reinstall the panels when the roof ages. In Florida after 15 years hurricane doesn't cover. They don't keep their word and once they get your money you become their victim. Only good people are the installers and repair people. The sales, office people and owner are the worst. read more

Solar-Fit installed my panels about a year ago. I LOVE them. Everyone from my salesman Sam to the installers and administrative staff have been amazing. Very responsive, professional and friendly! The panels are performing perfectly and my payments to FPL are minimal (the cost of the meter rental and surge suppressor I had them put on when I first purchased the house). Definitely thrilled I found Solar-Fit and I recommend them to everyone! read more

I am so totally not happy with the service from Solar Fit. I have not had my Solar panels working since the end of December and it is because of their poor service. They came out in Feb and turned the panels off then the circuit breaker it worked for a day. I called several times and they finally came out in March and said it was a part that was corroded but they only had one part and they needed 2 and that they would order it. I have since called many times to find out when the part will be installed. I was told several times the Service manager would call. Still waiting. I called again today I am so tired of paying extra for my electricity when I paid a lot of money to have it reduced with the solar panels. read more

I purchased 3 sun tunnels from Solar-Fit for my home. They came and performed a pre-check measurement for my installation, and then after a few cancellations on the install, they were able to install 2 of them. One of the tunnels did not fit (although I wonder why that wasn't caught during the pre-check, but not a huge deal). Anyways, I'm quite happy with the sun tunnels they installed, but I noticed the next morning that there was debris in one of the sun tunnels, some sort of tape or cable-like material. It kind of takes away from the ambiance of the light, having the silhouette of debris on the lens. I called them to ask how to remove the ring and clean out the debris, but as they walked me through the steps on removing the cover, it clearly wasn't turning. I tried, with them on the phone, several times, applying more and more pressure. Finally, I asked them to please just send someone over to remove the cover and the debris. They sent me to a youtube video showing me how to do it myself. Still, it wouldn't budge or turn, no matter how hard I tried (and in the youtube video, it clearly came off easy). For the money I paid, I shouldn't have debris in a new sun tunnel, nor should I kill myself trying to turn something that clearly isn't turning. I also shouldn't have to wait several weeks for someone to come over and fix the installation. The sales process was great, and their sales representative was a pleasure to work with. Everything after that, however, was not.... read more

I called Solar Fit for a repair and the young man that arrived at my house was very polite however the solar system was not repaired and is still leaking. He started with this part (adapter) and we do not have it and we do not carry it however if we run across one maybe we can call you and replace the part. I paid the bill and was confused but I thought the young man would follow through and I have not heard anything! Time to find a better company. Still leaking! read more

Needed to replace our pool solar panels so did a little research online and received several estimates. Even though Solar Fit gave us the most expensive estimate, we chose them due to their professionalism, excellent customer service, and quick response. We were even more than pleased with our choice when we developed an issue with our pool system within 1 week of installation that we at first attributed to the solar panels. We contacted Solar Fit to help us out with the problem and the techs came out the same day, figured out the problem, and quickly made the repair even though it had nothing to do with the solar panels. Needless to say we are very impressed with the level of customer service after the sale. read more

We had our old panels and one of them was licking, we called SOLAR-FIT for repair. The rep. came and he tells us that our panels were too old they needed changing and so on. We got talked into it, we were excited, the new panels looked great, and we would have a better performance, with a 12 year guarantee. Last summer was not one of the greatest and one thing or another plus we went for a long vacation, in short, we had very little chance to see the performance of our new panels. This summer or rather this spring, I noticed that the temperature gauges were of the same temperature, this must be wrong. The down, must be higher, so I called for a service. We were one month out of warranty. I explained that the temperature gauges were not working well and that my water was taking a long, long time in getting warm (by now, my old panels would have made the water so hot, that I would have to shut the panels down. After a lot of talk SOLAR-FIT decides to send someone, labor free pay for parts. Ok we go for that, they came and went. Nothing works, called again, waste of time. The morale of the story: We spent $6,000.00 for nothing. the pool water is getting warm "au natural" So much for SOLAR-FIT The most regretful and disappointing company. $6,000.00 down the drain. How do you like those apples. Alfredo Orza ps. Sorry there is no half star, so I have to go for a full one read more

We love this company. We had used them 10 years ago, and service has gotten even better. We had very quick responses to our bids for estimating new solar for our pool project. They sent someone out immediately to help us budget our project. When we were ready for solar installation, they scheduled us in with no problems. They quickly installed well over 25 panels, and worked quickly and efficiently, and got my job done fast. We had to wait on the other contractors for them to make a final hook up, again, they put us on schedule immediately and sent someone out to hook it up. There was a small leak, which was fixed as they checked and ran the whole thing. It was a great company to hire from start to finish, they stood by their original estimate, even lowering the price for some adjustment we were unaware of. They even went back to our original solar at another location, we had some leaks reported by a tenant-and they said those were "warranty issues" and fixed them with no charge. I have never had such good customer service. You are a customer for life if you choose Solar care. read more
