I rarely post here but I believe great service should be celebrated more than bad service should be complained about. With that said, I can only sing praises for Wayne's Solar. We needed to replace solar panels for the pool heater removed when the roof was replaced. After looking at many options, and speaking with a few, Wayne's Solar was the next to be evaluated. I called to arrange an estimate, they returned my call to let me know their salesman would contact me to make the appointment. Skip called a few hours later and we negotiated a date & time. He arrived a few minutes early and reviewed our needs. Skip had aerial pics of the former panels and looked at the Aqualogic controller for the pool. Within minutes he had given me a price which he said they would commemorate with a written estimate. Key points from the visit were: - he was very knowledgeable, - he confirmed that they would handle all of the connections to the Aqualogic system including programming for the solar heat, - he reviewed a professional brochure about the company and the panels they use, - he confirmed the 12 year product warranty on the panels manufactured in the US, - he confirmed a 15 year in house penetration leak warranty which included inspection after high wind events, - he informed me that they were running about 3 weeks lead time on installation. As promised, later that day, I received a written estimate exactly as discussed. I approved it the next morning and I got a text confirming an installation date almost exactly three weeks out. He said they did not need a deposit and we would hear from them a few days before the install. On Friday before the Tuesday install, I got a text reminding me of the appointment and an approximate window of arrival. They also asked to make sure their name was on file at the gate. It had rained heavily over the weekend into Monday and I got a text midday letting me know that they needed to move the arrival to Wednesday if that was OK or we could reschedule. I confirmed Wednesday worked and they arrived on time. Unfortunately, after a few hours it was getting ready to rain so they reached a stopping point and let me know the office would contact me to arrange completion. I tipped the guys before they left because they had busted their butts from the moment they arrived. I got a call from the office saying they would be back Friday to finish and to make sure they were on the gate list for that day. Early Thursday, they let me know they could adjust that to Thursday of if I wanted which I did. They came out and finished. They sent me an invoice for the work the next day which exactly matched the estimate given. We now have a professionally installed, warrantied, and properly commissioned solar pool heating system. The job site was left spotless and the workmanship is flawless. We consistently received professional and timely communications. The price was on the higher side of the bids we received, but it was the only one that was all inclusive with no extras. As some seem to forget here, you get what you pay for and with trades, price is often the least important consideration. Again, I cannot recommend Wayne's Solar enough and I hope this helps someone else wade through the myriad options they have. read more

Honesty, courtesy, and education to the consumer - without pressure. This solar company is a class act. I have 32 panels on my roof - and this effectively takes care of any power bill i get from Duke Energy. The only thing I pay for is the $11 for being on the grid. As to Wayne's, you simply will not beat them. Skip is the manager there in Ormond Beach. He does a superb job explaining solar and how it can help. His staff is tremendous. The people who come out to install the solar (Kevin, etc) are helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, kind, and honest. They do excellent work. We have had most the solar panels on our roof since 2016. They have functioned will - no issues. When we recently had to replace our roof due to hail damage on the shingles, Skip/Wayne's gave us a discount to remove temporarily our panels and then re-attach them after. They even did a study to ensure that the panels were producing the max solar for the layout when they did the replacement. Before I went with Wayne's, I checked multiple other solar companies. None came close to the professionalism, price, and quality. read more

Honest, Knowledgeable, Friendly, Selfless. My pump was leaking and I went in and saw Aaron. He was helpful explaining to me the functions and how the pump works. He told me to check several things and I did, but I still could not get the pump working on my own. So, I removed the pump and brought it in. He was busy, but took the time to stop what he was doing to immediately help me. He fixed the pump and it works perfect! I wanted to tip him or pay him for the service, but he would not accept it. We chose Waynes Solar over the other leading suppler/installer based on price and product performance of solar panels used by the Co, The salesman was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The installers showed up on schedule and did a great job the first time around. They started the installation as soon as the bank gave the ok and finish on time. Since them I only had to call the salesman once to fix the reporting of Kw made on line and withing two day found out the problem and was fix. I had Wayne's install solar panels for my swimming pool, first let me say that my first impression as I went into their showroom was very good, when Aaron started explaining all the options I was very impressed as to the low key approach and knowledge of the product, I bought the system and the crew did a very professional job. Two years later I had a problem, called and talked to Aaron, and he walked me through the system and we fixed the problem over the phone, great dealing with a outfit that is so knowledgeable of the products that they sell, I would rate them a 10 star, but they only allow a 5 star read more

About five years ago we had Wayne Solar install solar panels to heat our swimming pool. They also replaced our electric heat pump, gas heater for our spa and reduced the number of pumps from two to one. They also added a control system which tied into cell phones. All have have worked great. In June 2024, they came out and a team refurbished our swimming pool and hot tub. They striped the old (25 year old) tile and plaster replacing it with new. They started on time and it took less than two weeks to finish. It exceeded expectations. It was great working with Jamie and the crew. Money well spent. read more

Donnie was awesome, gave us the best price on solar out of all our estimates without having to negotiate, was continually on point, on schedule, great at communicating when we had questions, or to give us updates, found us more ways to save by replacing our inefficient pool pump and old inefficient water heaters, and we are up and running selling excess energy to our electric company. Fantastic company. Skip and his crew were awesome. We were told how long everything would take right at the beginning and they stuck to their time frame. My $230 average light bill has dropped to $70 so far. Can't wait to see how it drops in the summer when we have longer days and more sunshine. We did our system in December. Wayne actually installed my solar hot water system in the early 80's when he worked for Zon. He and his company have serviced the unit, when required, ever since...fortunately very few times. They have always been diligent in solving any problem and very understanding of the equipment. This last occasion, the hot water tank needed replacement. I live in Palm Coast and I am a snowbird. During the months I am here my pool was unusable because of the temp. Jaime from Wayne's came over and explained all the details in depth and we agreed on an upper level heat pump.
