cannot say enough positive things about South Coast Solar…read more First and foremost, they were very patient assisting me with selecting my system. No sales badgering. No rushed decisions. The product options they offered were first rate and broad range. They not only put great thought into providing me with an incredible and fun-to-use system, but took great care and effort to make it architecturally pleasing to the eye. The service they provided was not only top shelf prior to and during installation, they have continued to monitor my system and offer and make improvements well after my last payment. The people I have dealt with at every step have been kind, courteous, patient and just plain nice. Finally, they are a RHINO (Right Here in New Orleans) company. Not a franchise from out of state. This was especially important because of the goodwill they had with local HDLC to push my 200 year old property through restrictions. Good product. Excellent service. Great people. South Coast Solar rocks!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel a responsibility to warn others about our experience…read more We hired Supreme Power to install solar panels on our home, and it has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. What was promised as a "seamless process" turned into 11 months of delays, missed appointments, poor communication, and ultimately--shoddy, unsafe work. Here's a short list of the disasters: They installed the panels incorrectly the first time and had to come back to fix their own mistakes. They damaged our roof and gutters during the installation . No one returns phone calls or emails. We had to chase them down every step of the way just to get basic updates. The system still isn't fully operational almost a year later. To add insult to injury, they were quick to send an invoice--Nina from the office calls, raises her voice, uses profanity and made up lies about why the work wasn't done. Do yourself a favor and go with literally any other reputable solar company. We regret trusting them and are now looking at additional costs just to make the system safe and functional.

After unsuccessfully dealing with another local provider for approximately 4 months without achieving a solution it was encouraging to find a company who valued us as a customer. Adams Air Condition & Heating, LLC installed an air conditioning and heating system in my house…read morethat was not properly installed in July of 2021. I had to dispute my credit card payment to Adams A/C before they came back to reposition the inside unit, because the ductwork was sticking out of one of the bedrooms by several inches, because it had not been installed correctly. Adams A/C also agreed to put in an extra vent (which they never did), and put in a new digital thermostat (also which they never did). They gave me a 2 year warranty on parts and labor in the original agreement, which was never honored. No one inspected the initial installation, even though there were a number of things wrong with it. In addition to the positioning of the inside unit, cutting a the new vent and installing a new thermostat, there was excessive sweating in the lines going from the inside of the house to the outside compressor. This excessive sweating of the lines damaged the ceiling tiles and its aluminum framework all along the ceiling under these lines--about 40 feet of ceiling tiles in April, 2022, when the system was still under warranty. When I complained about this to Adams A/C, they did not come out fix it, despite their warranty. They kept putting me off after months of calling and texting them. When I finally complained to Adams A/C's insurance company, the owner of the company came out to my house to talk and dispute any kind of wrongdoing. However, he did not do any kind of hands-on inspection of the system. He told me that the excessive sweating and freezing of the lines was because the system had been run at too low of a temperature, but it was only being run slightly lower than 70 degrees Fahrenheit. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the system was capable of running continuously at 65 degrees Fahrenheit. So I started to run the system at just 70 degrees Fahrenheit continuously from that point on. On Friday November 4, 2022, the system froze up again inside and outside after being run at just 70 degrees Fahrenheit for weeks. When I told Adams A/C the system had been run at just 70 degrees but still froze, he told me my thermostat was too old and inaccurate, but they had never installed the new digital thermostat that was part of the original contract. There were ice crystals on the inside copper line coming out of the unit and a 2-inch thick block of ice on the outside line coming out the compressor. I called Adams A/C to deal with the problem, which I indicated was an emergency, but they never came out. I was forced to call another company to correct the problem, who told me that the system had to be shut down for a couple of hours to unfreeze. The new company came out that day and checked the freon levels and discovered that the freon was low and had to be filled to prevent freezing of the system again The freon should have been properly filled initially by Adams A/C when they installed the unit, and they should have checked it again over the intervening months according to their 2-year warranty. I had to pay several hundred dollars out-of-pocket for outside professional advice and work on a system that was installed improperly and that was still under warranty. The work Adams A/C initially promised to do by contract was never completed. My overall impression of Adams Air Condition & Heating, LLC is that they promise a lot initially to get the job, they charge much more than what they quote as their original estimate, they do quick but shoddy work, they are unresponsive to complaints or requests for warranty work, they try to blame the homeowner for the problems with the A/C system, and they do not honor their warranties.

RIPOFF ALERT: This company is looking to take advantage of their craft. Ciro, their "lead…read moretechnician" came out to my family's home to assess our A/C system and provide an estimate. After waiting a day from their initial assessment to "review cost of parts", they returned to our residence and quoted us a whopping $3,273.00 for the work. When I asked questions such as which parts needed to be repaired or what was the cost breakdown of parts/labor, Ciro could not provide an adequate response, became offended and told me I "crossed the line". Wow, really? The number $3,273 seems really precise but he could not tell me how he reached it. Bottom line is they saw my family in a dire situation but assumed we were not intelligent enough to ask the proper questions to understand the repair. But there is good news. We had a second company come out: Premiere Air Conditioning & Heating. They assessed the situation and even shared the part number that needed to be replaced. I tried to find the part at a better price and could not (because they have good suppliers and were not trying to up charge for the part). They were able to provide a cost breakdown between parts and labor for the job. We paid less than 1/3 (~$1000) for the job instead of $3,273. A majority of that cost was the parts. Believe me when I say, stay away from Trinity Home Services. They are looking to take advantage of you. You can read more about the great experience I had with Premiere Air Conditioning & Heating in my review there. UPDATED (8/22/19): Response to your comment on 8/19 below Ciro P. If you honestly feel that you are not trying to take advantage of clients than you should increase transparency. You should be able to provide a very basic breakdown of the "long term" work you are performing on behalf of your customer. You state you choose not to perform band-aid fixes but STILL have not sent me a summary of the issues you discovered that led you to your estimate. I did pay the inspection fee, at least I deserve that? The best answer I received from our discussion on the work you were performing was "we are taking this journey together". This leaves me with the impression that you are not confident in what needs to be repaired and are quoting steep to make it worth your while. Not the way to do business in my honest opinion. The conversation definitely felt one way and reminds me of other rip off conversations I have had with unscrupulous business men in the past.
